The Influence really doesn't start pouring in until lvl 35+, until then it's fine to use double xp with no influence. You'll still get recipe drops, and the lvl 50 ones vendor for 100k+. Want more Influence? Play your level 50's for a month. You earn more Influence in a single day at lvl 50 than you'll ever earn from the whole trip from 1-50. If you keep double xp on from 35-50, you'll hit 50 faster, but lose out on about 100 million Influence.

This whole thread just put its boot in my asymmetry.

I'm not sure how to answer this... I love City of Heroes, but I've never played WoW. Plus, I'm also a horrible person.

I've always found that October is the one month were it's damn near impossible to find a team, unless of course you want to mindlessly gorge your character with the all-you-can-collect Inf/XP buffet that is the Halloween Event. It's possible that next year everyone will do their very best to be well behaved and participate in this game just exactly how you want them to, but it's not very likely.

Economics 101: Buy low, get high. Or something like that.

I think my favorite toon is "Cray Crey", using the title "Crazy for Crey's Folly" Others which might fit the list: ApeMage, Ennui Go, Charmonica, Queen of Uranus, Chortle, Pasture Bedtime, Devil's Avocado, Hamster of Puppets, Pizza Cake, Ho Ho Hotep, Officer Pig, Bast Intentions, Hot and Bot Herd, Fancy Shmancy, Spaghetti-O Commando, Mister Illusionist...

The first Respec Trials, back before modern side-kicking and mentoring, were an absolute excrement exhibition. It almost felt like an actual achievement when you'd finally succeed on a PUG. So many times lying defeated, watching suicidal Raiders/Freaks/Rikti destroy the Reactor Core knowing there's nothing anyone can do in time to save the day... I miss those days.

When I played STO I was Captain Kork of the USS Intercourse. It was worth it. Just for that.

Fire/Storm will give you non-stop AOE's... until you rapidly run out of End, at least. It's really fun to play with a great build and t4 Cardio, though.

For melee characters, I press Tab to target, then F to follow, then I roll my face across the number keys. For ranged characters, I just press Tab and then roll my face across the number keys. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
