Why do people want this? the "hover" after a teleport is a annoying 2 second period of being so slow you barely move. Can we make it shorter, not longer? or make it so you're not as painfully slow?
I'd rather T9 defensive powers be remade into something useful than making them perma-able. Nothing wrong with perma stuff but there is a point at which it is too much.
More aoe for EM would be amazing. "the spirit of EM" doesn't have anything to do with being all single target. your hands are charged with POM POMS OF DEATH. I dunno about you but it screams aoe to me.
Its the only move which will make tankers acceptable to play. it absolutely is the right move and I applaud the HC team for realizing it. Damage is the most important game mechanic. No one asked for them to do the SAME damage as brutes and they still will not.
The minute someone DARES ask for tankers to do a bit more damage people jump on it and whine "BUT THEN THEY'LL BE THE SAME AS BRUTES!" that makes as much sense as saying that if I choose to mow my lawn with a manual lawnmower, I am the same as a robot.
Firstly, balance fixes to badly performing sets like Energy Melee and Archery so they are viable for people who enjoy more effective characters. then, new content continuation of story etcetera. New Powersets.
Maybe so but since when does a team which cares about max efficiency take a tanker over a brute? (assuming both would be fully built) they don't. and when balancing a game you dont say "oh you dont NEED specific things to win therefore its balanced that energy melee damage is bad for no reason and tankers are not fun to play"
Only if you use it to disrupt the group like at least half the people who take it do- and dont attempt to use it wisely even when asked.
Don't get me wrong, knockback is an essential part of a super hero setting. its not a super punch if it cant knock the bad guy through a building or across the block. However the way its implemented right now makes knockback nothing but a annoyance. Until this basic mechanical flaw is addressed knockback needs to always be OPTIONAL.
MMs are kinda at least half support becuase they literally get support sets. Villains have support as well. Corruptors are literally defenders with slightly less buff and more damage.
