Things don't have to be equal between power sets. It is OK for some things in life to be better than other things. The only time you should look in your neighbor’s bowl is to make sure that they have enough. You don’t look in your neighbor’s bowl to see if you have as much as them.

You can turn off effects on your own character for any power pool. /bind KEY "SuppressCloseFX 1$$SuppressCloseFXdist 300" This will turn off your auras and armors visual effects for you, in your view only, unless you scroll 300 feet out. Others will still see them. change the number as you desire /bind KEY "SuppressCloseFX 0" will turn all the visual fireworks back on. Pick two keys you like.

Agreed! Heck, maybe 80%! That being said... We will be here, and having fun. What I don't understand is the weird desire for increasing the population. Or for offering incentives to retain the player base. Or doing anything or worrying about anything. Let it go. We are not a restaurant, we don't need to attract customers or retain those that get bored. Everybody just relax and be groovy, man.

Traps is damage heavy for a support set as it is, I would love to see Time Bomb replaced with something that buffs or supports the team.

I made it to level 25! Still looking for slotting ideas for leveling with no cash. Basic IOs. Would you slot De-buff in Acid? Hold in Poison? Slow in Caltrops? Ghost Owl is a billionaire French 19th century industrialist. A steampunk Batman homage. The guy behind the keyboard is not so lucky. How would you slot /Traps on a budget?

Thanks @Darkir ! That looks good... ... So.... From level 22 until level 37 I will most likely be using only basic IOs. It looks like traps can really benefit from procs, but until I can afford them...Does anybody have ideas on basic IO slotting? Do most of the traps need recharge? Accuracy? Any hints? Ghost Owl thanks you for the help so far....

I only initially stuck it out to level 4, so I had only taken Web Grenade when boredom set in. I am now level 9, and elected to take Hasten and Combat Jumping instead of Triage Beacon so far. I an excited to get back in there and do some more content soon though!

Another thing to try is a wired connection if you are currently using wireless. See if that helps.
