  1. Blue side was also level 40 when it shipped. The quotes you provided specify red side, but blue side did not get level 41-50 till the first update. https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Issue_1 "The level cap of heroes was raised from 40 to 50"
  2. Necro response, but this is not true. When he game shipped, the cap was 40. Issue 1 brought the cap to 50.
  3. So here is a suggestion that will never happen. If it is possible, could we get a different animation when running? I was thinking maybe hold it on your shoulder with one arm. I realize that new animations are pretty much a no go, but the OG animation is just so dumb.
  4. You don't need new animations, we have animations like the ones that iI listed(think the flash when you activate the Insp temp power, or the fog that envelops you when you activate steamy mist). We simply lack the option to have wings only spawn when flight is activated. The activation animation is simply to camouflage the wings spawning. So any existing animation we have that momentarily obscures your character would be more than enough.
  5. So, this might be a bit weird, but would it be possible for wings to spawn on you when you turn on fly/hover instead of them always being on your back? Maybe have a couple of selectable animations that play sa you activate fly, like a flash of light or cloud of smoke that envelops you? We already have graphic effects in costume pieces that activate when flying, like the rocket packs, so in theory the tech might be there?
  6. So I had this idea while flying around searching for the Anniversary event glowies. What if, once a month(?) week(?) The Homecoming team posts a screenshot of a random location in the game. Ideally somewhere not super obvious. At the location in the game would be a NPC that would hand out some sort of reward. Maybe a small merit reward, or a badge? The idea is to engage the community and get players to explore the zones more.
  7. Also, the game is probably at one of the more difficult phases from like 18-26? 18-30? Enemies get tougher, but your build hasn't necessarily filled out to compensate just yet, especially if you don't have a sugar daddy character to supply enhancements.
  8. Pretty sure it was widely accepted that bonfire was crazy op with the KB->KD enhancement.

  10. With the new issue, we are getting new things that can go inside the Think Tank head option. I would like to suggest a few more such items... -A scaled down version of the pirana head both with and without fins -miniature hydra floating in the water -a miniature version of the Hydra Head -A scaled down version of Lusca's head -a scaled down Rikti Monkey floating in the water -Some fish? Im not sure if there is a fish model/animation already in the game, I don't recall seeing any
  11. I 3 slot stamina, and for health , it depends on the toon, but I will always put SOME slots into it. I load both up with procs.
  12. I always remap my autorun to my middle mouse button personally.
  13. Take a break. There is nothing wrong with doing something else for a little bit, then coming back when you feel like it.

  16. I bet that no one in paragon actually owns cars. Everyone just belongs to a ride-share that can buy cheap cars at a low price due to volume sales.
  17. Would anyone be interested in more variety in inspiration type? Like a movement speed inspiration, or a boost range inspiration?
  18. I was just thinking, that it would be nice if we could set Orobouros missions to a higher difficulty and get prismatic salvage as a reward. Nothing crazy, maybe several levels of increased odds for one to drop at the end of a mission culminating in 100% guaranteed for a high enough difficulty setting.
  19. Why not just strip all mobs of mez protections, and simply give them % of mez resistance. So if you hit a boss with a minion level hold, it does hold the boss, but only for like 1/10 of a second or whatever, but hit him with a boss level hold and he would be held the entire duration. I mean, we already have mez resistance in the game, and we already have resistances scaling with level. Seems like a straight forward solution to me.
  20. I wouldn't? A simple mashup where you get to choose which powers have which element is the goal.
  21. Another problem, is that the powers are not exactly contradictory, but like, If I have a character that wants the aoe fear, they probably dont want the taunt. I view pacify as completely pointless. So to get the pbaoe fear, I have to take at least 1 useless power and a single target fear. My Controller wouldn't mind the single target fear, but he would not want provoke. My tank would be ok with provoke, but a single target fear is kinda pointless for him. The only character that I have managed to take it on is my mastermind.
  22. I feel like the Presence Pool needs a little work. Personally, I feel like Invoke panic is too expensive as a pick? Like, if it were a tier two pick instead of tier 3, I would definitely take the pool alot more. This is probably just more power creep, but I have a hard time justifying taking the pool, even when I want to.
