  1. I wouldn't mind Overgrowth if the radius was reduced...maybe down to 20 instead of 25 ft. Overall I like this idea!

  3. I had this well written reply to the thread and I accidentally deleted it...:FACEPALM:. So I'm just going to post something short and sweet. Shiver: The hold in your version should be enhanceable. 6 seconds may seem like too much but it's nothing when up against +4 Purple Con Lts and Bosses. Ice Slick: I approve of your version 100%. I also wouldn't mind a little bit of -DMG too Flash Freeze: I would prefer if the pets dealt Stun instead of a Hold or Sleep but maybe the hold would add much needed damage to the set. If the pets do have holds the caster should be able to slot hold enhancements as long as the power ignores it's hold duration getting strengthened by 100%. I also approve of the Blaster Mag 2 stacking with Mag 1 mention too. Glacier: Great changes but I think the power needs more. It needs the Hail or Bullets Treatment; Glacier should give you +9.75% (Ranged/AOE/Melee) Defense and 19.25% S/L/C Resistance. I agree with Coyote; I skip most AOE Holds unless they are Volcanic Gasses or Shadow Field. They just aren't worth taking. Again, sorry for how crude this post was but I was simply crushed 🧊 after I idiotically deleted my nice typed up initial reply to your post OP.
  4. The SFX for Total Focus seems to be lining up on the Dominator side of things at least. I tested TF on multiple baddies including Warwolves, Behemoths and WarHulks 👍.

  8. Can't you still miss with Origin powers though? I forget. I guess once you take Tactics, or pick up the Geas of the Kind Ones Accolade, get buffed by a +ACC or +ToHit power, or slot an IO set that grants Accuracy or +To Hit bonus that's a non issue. EDIT: It's showing as 1.20X Acc on my Blaster but the power recharges in no time and The OSA pet has -100% defense anyway so NEVER MIND then lmao.
  9. Keep in mind I don't know if this is normal or not since my Trick Arrow toon on HC Live is low level but I'm not sure this is much of an issue anyway... Possible BUG REPORT: Disruption Arrow is stacking on itself briefly from anywhere between 2- 4 seconds. EDIT: The debuff window overlaps for 5 seconds only if you continue to spam it. Shortening the debuff window too much may cause debuff consistency issues for teams.
  10. I'm loving the overall changes to /Ninja Training, such a big buff! Now I'm going to hit MIDS and make a million /Nin Blaster toons lol.
  11. Blaster Mezz powers are still potent...just not as much as they are on HC Live. The Mag 1 mezz stacks on top of the Mag 2 so the power still behaves much like a Mag 3; once the duration of the Mag 1 wears off the Mezz debuff essentially reverts back to a Mag 2 mezz. You see this a lot when playing Controllers and Dominators. Often times you will need multiple applications to lockdown a Boss or higher and as soon as 1 of the stacked mezz applications you used wears off, the boss will come to.
  12. BUG REPORT: Force of Thunder is still listing that it's a resource power in the title bar. (Example: PBAoE, For Disorient, Knockback, Self +Regeneration, +Recovery) BUG REPORT: Dynamo's Title bar doesn't properly list what it does. It doesn't state that it provides regen and recov.

  14. I have to apologize for not reading 7 pages of this thread but I don't fully understand your question. Are you trying to find ways of achieving a new type of Controller inherent? Or are you asking what ways can a Controller make their holds more potent using IO sets?
  15. Martial has a lot of proc potential. It's what first sticks in my mind while looking at it.
  16. The Preventive Medicine proc is pretty amazing. It has saved my butt far too many times.
  17. Judging by a few posts on here it looks like the Arachnos symbols are keeping some folks from trying out the Patron Pools....well fear not Bluesiders! It's possible to select Patron Pool Armors without the Arachnos symbols! Just select 'Minimal FX' for your Soul, Leviathan and Mace Armors (The Mu armor by default doesn't have the Mu symbol anyway). I know that Minimal FX gets rid of the patron symbol for Dominators but I'm not so sure if this is the case for all Archetypes but I'd hope it would be.
  18. Traps as a Defender primary can add a lot to a team especially if you invest heavily on the proc side of things.
  19. The change happened during the same time Dominators got some love so of course I knew about it since I'm absolutely obsessed with Dominators lol. Powers: Devices Changed Web Grenade to Toxic Web Grenade, now deals scale 1 toxic DoT and can be slotted for damage Taser: Recharge reduced from 20 to 10 seconds, duration reduced from scale 10 to scale 5, damage increased from 0.25 to 1.96 (same damage as Energy Punch) Time Bomb: Animation is now 2.77 seconds, interrupt time removed, countdown reduced to 5 seconds, defiance values reduced to match (this only applies to this set, not to the Traps support set versions.) Trip Mine: Interrupt removed. Cast time is now 2.77 seconds. Recharge increased to 30 seconds. Targeting Drone now gives your first attack from out of combat a Built-Up effect (80% damage) and continues to provide a 20% damage buff while in combat.
  20. I would love to see Caltrops and Web Grenade switch places and while were on the topic of Web Grenade... Like in Devices turns Web Grenade into Toxic Web Grenade As other have mentioned I would love to see Triage Beacon become mobile. Making Triage mobile will pretty much make it behave like Soothing Aura does in PvP. I think the mobile version should be buffed and capped at 1 triage beacon only. I too am for a pet version of Acid Mortar following you around. It would be pretty much like a Rad Emissions toon using 2 of their toggles or like running around casting Sleet. I would be fine with Force Field Generator staying as is but I would gladly welcomes improvements if you guys decided to go that route. I'm fine with Poison Trap as is but again, I would gladly welcome improvements. Like what Red said I would love to see Seeker Drones with KU Give Trip Mine the Devices treatment Give Time Bomb the Devices treatment
  21. Frostweaver, I appreciate your kindness and control of your frustration. Mind Control is just not a set for me and It never will be. It feels disjointed, blocky and out of place. For some reason I. JUST. CAN'T. STAND. IT. I've tried making Mind toons for years on end and I always end up disappointed. I'm leveling a Fortunata to 50 to slowly force myself to like the Control and Utility Mind Control offers (I know Forts are not Doms but I'm familiar with Widows). If you read my opinion on Fire and Gravity I go into detail of how these two sets are a problem for new players and I highlight why and how you should remedy the typical new player mistakes that we all see constantly on Fire and Grav Control toons. I gave my opinion on Mind Control but keep in mind I'm the last person you want to go to when it comes to advice on Mind Control. I just cannot stand the set. I'd rather throw myself off a cliff than to use Mind Control. Also, I deal with Chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis so at times I'm not at my best and that was definitely the case when I posted here. It was quick, scattered and painfully informal but I decided to post anyway because I felt like the Dominator subforum needs more activity. Again, I loathe Mind Control and I want nothing to do with the set but I have seen the set really shine in action in group play. I'm just going to say for the record...I'm only human just like you guys and I have plenty of faults and quirks and I will continue to forcefully make myself enjoy Mind Control and even Psi Assault(even though it hurts doing so lol). I love helping other players, especially if they have Dominator related questions but at this current time my dislike for a set is hindering my ability to fully assist fellow players who have questions about Mind Control.
  22. I will cry tears of joy once they actually fix Mercs. I think it's insane that any kind of real fix has been put off for so long. Merc/Poison was my first villain so Merc and Poison are my babies ❤️ .
  23. Even after the immob change I still skip Stone Cages, why you may ask? It makes it really tough for the Tanker, Brute, Kheld, DPS, Support or whatever to see past the bulky rock formations. At times I miss having an immob when I'm on an AV team but in the end it's safer for my team to see problem mobs like a Sapper, Fortunata Mistress or an Overseer for instance. Of course this is a to each their own situation so YMMV.
  24. I think Dark Control works well...even better a Dark/Dark Controller. Dark has a ST confuse that can be spammed and two Tanky specters that follow you around and punch stuff. Shadow Field is pretty much Volcanic Gasses but with -To Hit and then there's Heart of Darkness that can be turned into a proc bomb as well a pbaoe stun. Dark Miasma is just amazing and the controller version takes it to another level. I would also like to put in a vote for Traps.
