Yeah, I'm at the point now where this mission will most likely fail every time I do a Moonfire TF, like back on live. People keep accidentally killing Dr. Todd now.

I'd very highly recommend viewing and taking in this table of Archetype damage modifiers. Take a look at the Dominator numbers, then take a look at Blaster numbers, Sentinel numbers, Scrapper numbers, Stalker numbers. Then take a look at Defender and Controller numbers. Do you notice anything?

Yep. "Must be on the ground" is why I will never play Seismic Blast and gave up on Electrical Armor. But that's okay, that just means that they are not for me. There are power sets that are for me but not for others, like Storm Blast.

Radiation Emission. It's one of the top solo-friendly Corruptor secondaries, along with Dark Miasma (which you don't want), and Trick Arrow. It'll allow you to solo just about everything with ease (including AVs and GMs if that interests you), and requires few actual power picks (five or six), letting you expand into power pools. As for primaries... if you want to take down AVs or GMs, you'll want something with good single target. Fire Blast, Ice Blast, Beam Rifle, Assault Rifle. If you don't care about taking down AVs and GMs, then just about any primary power set will work. Electrical Blast would have a decent mix of AoE and single target, (along with Fire Blast and Assault Rifle).

Yeah, just about every other MMORPG has a penalty for leaving instanced content early, which is why I would be fine with it in CoH as well.

Nope. You have to start over from scratch like everyone else, but it's fairly quick and easy these days.

A Homecoming developer said years ago that the only way to truly resolve the "everyone that loads in an instance after the 19th person is kicked out in a closed league" bug would be a complete rewrite of the LFG turnstile. Good luck with that.

There are Excelsior players on Indomitable, but they stick to AE farming. Seriously, about a quarter to a third of Indomitable's population at any time are Excelsior players AFK AE farming while they actually play on Excelsior. I wish I was joking.

From experience, this is a bigger issue on Excelsior than the other shards. Excelsior attracts newer players more so than the other shards, and most newer players are immediately introduced to either AE farms, Peregrine Island radio missions, or both. They then tend to assume everything else in the game works that way so they feel free to leave a TF/SF/trial halfway through, without realizing that it's screwing over the other people on the team.

Yep. I have been ignoring this event even though it means missing out on badges because I don't want my characters getting pets that I will never use.

Not to mention that there are easier and less dull ways to unlock both mayhem and safeguard missions now.

There is some truth to the statement. Blizzard has gone really hard into esports (bleh), including with World of Warcraft. Considering most MMORPGs released from 2005 onwards have copied World of Warcraft in some fashion or other, and with the advent of Dark Souls-type video games, yeah, I see it. There are other reasons too of course, but the esports influence and live stream influence are there.

Yep, that and Star Wars: The Old Republic are great for that. "I'm shooting you out of kindness."

Or have a few people leave the instance, buy EoEs on the auction house and/or get them from their respective supergroup bases' storage, and then come back to the instance via the LFG menu. Once back in the Hamidon raid instance, they can distribute them to everyone else.

I addressed it. You said that you want to be able to force raid and Incarnate trial leaders to take any and all players unless they're breaking Homecoming's ToS. Life doesn't work that way. It sucks being excluded from things, but you can form your own raids and trials with your own leagues.

Form your own raid with your own league then. Been there, done that.

That was the case, up until the Going Rogue expansion. When the developers added the Going Rogue expansion, and especially once the Who Will Die? story arc played out, all bets were off. Dark Watcher specifically references the events of Who Will Die? during the initial 20 level playthrough of Praetoria. In addition, Provost Marchand's, the Major's, Mr. G's, and Sgt. Schorr's story arcs can be gotten at level 30+, but they all clearly take place after the Magisterium Trial. Yeah, I'd place Night Ward around the same time as the Keyes Trial, maybe just before.

I remember back on live when Matt Miller brought this up as a possibility on the old blue boards and asked if people would be okay with it. People overwhelmingly shot it down, saying things like "There is only one Superman, one Batman, and one Spider-Man." Fifteen years later, we now have at least four Supermen, at least three Batmen, and a gazillion Spider-Men running around in comic books. Seems to be working okay for them.

Which sound file(s) would need modification to stop Demon Summoning henchmen from making that obnoxious roar/squeal noise that they randomly make? sound/Ogg/DemonSummoning/DemonLieu_Taunt_01.ogg looks like a likely culprit. Anything else? Would just replacing it with a blank OGG file work?

FWIW, an instanced mothership raid can be successfully ran with only eight players. It's been successfully done with fewer players than that.
