I think the pool and epic powers need to be adjusted. Far too often an attack power you take from it (looking at you dark/soul) is the highest dps attack in your chain. This should not be so unless your AT does not have an attack set like controllers. I could see an argument for being relatively equal to a secondary attack set power. Even then, their should not be clear winners the way dark/soul outshines all the others.

Look up the thread on the brute forum that I did for an ice/regen character and the suggestions people have given. I haven't implemented the latest suggestions, but it can solo 4/8 missions without hitting the big heals the majority if the time.

Yeah for my next melee character, I plan on using Kinetic Melee which really needs looking at, but to make it 'work', I plan on proc'ing the ever living hell out of the attacks, but in order to do that I need an armor set that doesn't need IO set bonuses from the melee set in order to do what it was designed for. That pretty much means SR for the most part. I am pretty much giving up a lot of set bonuses and the idea of using a different armor set in order to make KM 'work'.

First of all, they could solve a lot of problems by just renaming Rage to Determination. The other main problem to me is that outside of KOB and FS, the rest of the set feels like Mediocre Strength.

I have lost toggles on a tank without being mezzed. It may just be feature of the AVs in the SSB.

I consulted with a specialist on procs, and this proctologist told me that before procs can be balanced, they need to be decoupled from recharge so that you will not be penalized from putting recharge into your powers. He could have been just talking out of my ass though.

There is an arc redside that can pit you against 8 clones of you and I died so many times against them with my DP/MC blaster that I shudder to think what they would be like if they also got affected by difficulty settings of +4/8.

I always allot an extra slot for FA for 2 +5 End Reduction IOs and generally only run it when I need it unless I can afford the extra end which I can on some builds. I always try to have 2 more end recovery than my passive end consumption.

Yeah, I kind if went proc monster with my ma/sr brute, Foe Paw, since it is easy to do with SR if you are not chasing the incarnate cap. It also seems a bit cheaper getting procs than full sets.

For some reason my coffee deprived brain thought it was the same penalty as the defense.

I am curious. I have a level 10 Rad/SS tanker that might be better as a brute since rad doesn't care too much about the -def from rage crash and fury doesn't care too much about the -dam. At least not as much as other ATs.
