  2. I am not too familiar with Elec outside melee chars, a colleague of mine used to have an Elec/Elec Blaster and he always complained about the nuke, and that was with old nukes so I guess the situation has not improved, yet, it was just an opinion. I personally found electric melee a tad lackluster on Brutes so I'd personally stick to Scrapper or Stalker. Elec melee on a stalker is awesome and you still can get further aoe via pools / patron powers. Regarding electric armor, well, I never had a problem with it, currently I have an Elec/Spines tank and a Stone/Elec Brute, they're not the first choice I make whenever an ITF is going on but they rock on pretty much anything else. Elec/Elec Controller (or Domi) is something I have been curious but when I start planning a build, I keep ditching way too many powers that strike useless to me so never really got into them, might do now that I am approaching the point where I do not know what else to roll though. Edit: That bio is awesome rofl
  3. I'd say Fire/Kin is still highest damage dealer tbh
  4. Blinding Feint + Vitals combo happnes to be 2nd best attack chain for Dual Blades. Truth is it offers less synergy with DA than similar themed sets such as katana since the only DB attack that does -Def is Ablating Strike and it is single target but on the other hand, Dual Blades is a good and fun poewrset plus everything /DA is fun anyway so double win here 🙂
  5. Your phantasm should not die if the enemies are busy with your PA. Just took a quick glance at your build, can't really see why would you use fire shield 1 slotted but hey ho. Lingering radiation is underslotted and you need procs, tons of dmg procs everywhere... except in pets or pseudo pets.

  8. Any particular reason why you 1 slot toggles and 5 slot passives? Honest curiosity
  9. If you say so, I guess you'll have your reasons for saying such a stupidity. Glad to see not everything Zeleski did contributed to screw the game, only the most part of what he did achieved that.
  10. Not really, why? he made a mistake and did something right? He'd probably "monitored" it and made it worse than it was before he laid his hands on it anywyay
  11. On the other hand, the only credit I'll give Zeleski is that, had not NCSoft pulled the plug, he'd closed the game by himself. There's not a single decision he made, a single thing he "fixed" that didn't affect my CoH gaming in a ngeative way, name it Merits, proc behavior fixes or all his powerset revamps. Could be also that, as you say, wasn't only his choice, most his work power wise was on bringing more power pools which was in line with Positron's modus operandi of "let's just throw them a bunch of cool stuff no matter how, they'll love it" that is painfully patent on villain arcs post lvl 40.
  12. Anything with active dmg mitigation should work, Stone Melee and Mace are first to come to mind, also Psi would be awesome with /Elec.
  13. Well, this game certainly works for me as it is, for more challenge, I am sure there are other MMOs more oriented to that, although OPs claim happens in pretty much MMO, when endgame raiding and dungeons are not a challenge anymore, people complain in forums until new challenging raids and dungeons are added ad nauseam, while everyone else is asking for MMOs who cater for the fabled "casual player" whom apparently is 90% of players and all they want is being able to get some progress by logging 1 hour a day, go figure. I guess complaining is the natural way of things, OP complains here becuae lack of challenge and in more challenging MMOs, people complain because they are unable to get any meaningful progress in the limited gamkng time they have *sigh*
  14. Apparently, Synapse said back in live that he was unable to balance the set to port it to scrappers, seems he had that problem on both Stone Melee and Super Strength but then Synapse pretty much screwed up everything he touched in this game so it was probably for the best that he could not "balance" the set. I'd personally love the idea of porting Stone Melee to Scrappers, much more than Super Strength tbh
  15. Hello, I wonder if more ppl have the same problem, I have tried to make and also joined several channels because I think channels are much better than SGs to arrange TFs and such. CoH has probably the best ingame channel system there is in any MMO BUT, the problem I am facing in the channels I try to set up or see on other channels, is that most people forget to set up the chat settings on every char thus channels ending up with a shitload of member who can't see the channel because they forgot to load chat settings. I was wondering if there is any chance that deves could take a look at this issue and make chat settings automaticvally updated upon logging thus not needing to load chat settings individually in every char. For all those who tbhink that saving and loading chat settings is not that much work, well, you are right, it is not, yet, it seems it is for a shitload of people. Also, for elitists who choose which channels to be on on which char, well, they should be able to do the same, it's just that, instead of adding the ones they want individually, the system (if can be implemented) would wor reversely so they'd be removing unwanted ones instead. I think with customized channels one cna get the most of the game with friends, both previous and new ones and channels are way better than SGs because you can see them on any char on any alignment thus being informed of any event happening but unfortunately, current implementation system on any individual char, even if once is enough, seems to be gimping an excellent feature this game has.
  16. Trying to answer your questions: Shadow maul is ok to add a bit more of aoe however, it is skippable although cannot see Shadow Punch being useful for anything other than a set mule. I'd rather slot and incorporate Dark Blast to my ST attack chain, at least is full negative dmg. The endurance usage prior to incarnates is also rubbish on my build. On my personal experience, anything above 1.25 end/sec sucks so I prefer just going for an Alpha slot endrdx than gimping my build sacrificing too much for +recovery. Never missed myself the superior critical strikes and since I am in no need of AoE or +acc, I decided to skip it but if you think the proc is that important, guess you can find a space for it Performance Shifter proc cna be useful until you get your Alpha, although allocating a thefot of essence in dark regeneration is better, you can use both until you get to equip at least your T3 Alpha and then remove them if you feel you don't need them The KB protection in SJ is always active. If you don't want Shadow Maul, probably something like this should work, where you are still softcapped to both S/L and melee, your S/L res is just around 3% below the hardcap, which shouldn't be noticeabla, your recharge is slightly improved and you can use shadow punch as part of the ST attack chain while lvling and then at lvl 41 respec and replace shadow punch by dark blast. You can also replace either Maneuvers for Soul Trnasfer and Hover by 1 slotted Hasten although I much prefer having Hover which is great for Caltrops and stuff like that plus can also help in the few occasions Mag 8 KB prot is not enough. 17. Basically, your end usage is dismal and can't figure why do you want all those defensive toggles for not being softcapped to any kind of defense. If you want endurance comnsumption efficiency, then you will have to start slotting for +endrdx and +recovery in that order and of course, select the toggles that are useful for you. Surely OG does more for you than a base slotted maneuvers that is, among other toggles, eating your endurance alive. Also, don't know how do you pretend have good acc in CoF and slot a lvl 30 set. Hasten with a 16 second gap, is it needed for anything in particular? dunno, usually the power you want to recharge fast is dark regeneration and the rchg is not that long to require Hasten. Getting rid of the useless toggles and slottimng properly will get you to a much better position, of course, the choice is yours but that build you posted is both squishy and unplayable with the endurance management you have. You can try this instead... or not, your choice. With all relevant Accolades and either Cardiac Alpha (if you want better dmg res) or Vigor Alpha (if you want better acc for powers such as CoF) your end management is well under control, all the useful toggles are always on and you are softcapped to both Melee and S/L. 18. For survivability, I have found out that WP benefits a lot from Fighting Pool so I would build from there. You can go for high defense to EN/Neg/Fire/Cold and rely on resistance and regeneration for S/L dmg, or go for high S/L def and res and cope with pure exotic dmg with regen, or go for regen all the way with decent def and res... the choice is yours. Bear in mind that your primary should also weigh on which way to go, depending on the active dmg mitigation your prmary has or the lack of it, but that is probably the best feature of WP, it gives you solid base stats for you to build your char the way it suits best your own playstyle.
