For 7 powers, i'd say Elec can skip Power Sink and Power Surge, Fire can skip Consume and rise of the phoenix, Nin can skip Blinding Powder and Kuji-in Retsu, Shield can skip one with the shield and grant cover, and WP can skip resurgence and strenth of will. No idea about Ice, regen or energy aura tbh.
  3. I have a savage/fire scrapper and he was ok, main problem I had was not savage or lack of synergy but how piss poor Burn is on scrappers. Anyway, movving on, I skipped Hemorrhage, it's good for stalkers but really lackluster for scrappers and brutes (no idea about tanks). Regarding rending flurry, what Heraclea said.

  5. I'd choose Soul because of Gloom and because I love Dark Obliteration. Also, the anchor is very useful for herding. I wouldn't discard Blaze Mastery though, your Fiery Embrace should work fine with Fire Ball.
  6. For what is worth, I have a Dark/Nature in the late 30s and so far I am loving him to bits. Needs a bit of micro-management but it is worth the effort
  7. This is the one I am planning to do... sometime I guess (damn altitis). Not sure about Cross Punch, mainly is just to try the power and gain another cone, if I don't like it, might get SPring Attack instead because I like jumping in the middle of the grp and activate Soul Drain or just rework the power selection order, squeeze a slot from somewhere and get a 6 slotted Tactics. For now, on paper this I think should suffice. Another option would be incorporating Maneuvers and going for Musculature Alpha instead, that'd mean a 3 / 4 seconds gap on Hasten out of Ageless but I guess I can live with that.   14. I'd go Psy/WP or DM/WP, both dmg types are probably the least resisted in game, psy has better burst and better aoe and a greta dmg mitigation at lvl 32 while DM has an earlier dmg mitigation and the most awesome build up power in game.
  15. This could be a start. Some powers are there for theme purposes, such as Touch of Fear. If you prefer Moonbeam instead of Dark Blast, you can slot it as it is or use an Extreme Measures set to increase your Melee and S/L def or a Sting of the Manticore to improve slightly the original 6.25% rchg from the Decimation set. I would usually slot Stamina with just 3xendmod but I was told in another thread that this slotting plus the Panacea in Health will grant better recovery so here it is. Despite the ideal DM chain being MG+Smite+SL+Smite, I personally like to use Dark Blast since it is pure negative dmg which is one of the less resisted in game but that's me, if you want the ideal chain, you'll have to rework your rchg and prolly add Hasten (which I never do in DA chars merely for concept reasons).   17. What I was saying is that the build does not need it, I'm sure it works and all that but since the build does not need it, I am not inclined to test and I would save the inf / enhcs for maybe another char but it is always good for the OP to know they have options.
  18. I wouldn't, health does not need two slots. Having +HP is always handy but not at the price of gimping the build. Not saying it wouldn't work, I'm saying I don't really need to find out just to allocate a panacea, from personal experience with very similar builds, the endurance management is ok and despite not reaching 1800 hp which is a landmark I always aim for on scrappers for no particular reason, 1767 HP wtith accolades is close enough for me to be happy with the total HP of the build.

  20. Sorry, cba to read the whole thread. Anyone saying Dark Melee sucks, underperforms, etc... is just an idiot, period. If they complain about its lack of AoE dmg, pool powers and epic powers give ample choice to make it up for said lack of AoE and regarding ST dmg, the chain MG - Smite - SL - Smite is one of the best if not the best melee ST chains in game. On the other side, Dark Armor is one of the most complete sets in game and since inventions and Incarnates, it is nowadays one of the funniest and best defensive sets in game.
