  5. Because we're playing a game where expectations are useless. I don't look at other people's builds in game. I don't care. I don't care what AT they play. I assume they know what they're doing and when they don't it doesn't affect how I play other than slowing down or speeding up. If I'm on a tank or brute that has taunt, I use it. If I don't have it, I don't. If the team seems to need more help to keep from faceplanting I slow down and spend more time watching the team's health and attacking those that are hurting my teammates. If everyone's green bars stay full, I remove my leash and go full scrapperlock. It doesn't matter what AT I'm playing. That's how I play. Same when I'm on squishies. One person having a harder time than the rest of the team? Focus buffs on them. I honestly don't give a shit about other people's expectations because I place no expectations on them. I find that rude. I just want everyone to have fun.

  7. SJ/SR scrapper would be my choice. I keep remembering his fights with Kingpin who was absolutely a WP/StJ tank.
  8. Sometimes I'm hungover and the extra voices in my head add to the pain and/or distraction. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood to listen to other people while playing. Sometimes I do feel social and want to join in on the banter. But specifically game related? There's very little in this game that can't be solved with a line or two of text to get everyone on the same page.

  12. My vote is yes. Weave stacks with any defense given to you by your primary. It's also an excellent spot for IOs, some unique, some not, like Luck of the Gambler + Recharge, or Reactive Defense Scaling Resists or Shield Wall's +Resistance. Same is true for Tough. Unbreakable Guard +MaxHP, Gladiator's Armor +Def, Steadfast +Def as well as others. To be honest, Out of 75+ characters, I don't have a single one that doesn't end up with the fighting pool.

I've eyeballed that FF CF+Rec many a time for my claws users but in the end, I'd rather just load up on enough recharge to run followup, focus, slash, repeat for my ST chain and followup, spin, shockwave on my aoe chain. That's for scrappers. For brutes/tanks the aoe chain is followup, focus, spin, shockwave. If I got with the FF proc, I either lose the KB>KD proc or the 10% +recharge from ragnarok. Not sure I'd wanna go that route for 5 seconds of +100% recharge although with shockwave, I can see that being pretty damn persistent. I'll run a test with my claws/fire brute farmer and see how it plays out.
  14. @Tsuko I saw the same thing regarding Attuned IOs granting higher bonuses than their set lvl would grant. Turns out, it's not true. While the numbers you see on that enhancement screen DO go higher, when you check the real numbers on the power itself, you'll find that it is NOT being buffed by that amount, but rather only by the actual amount it can hit based on its top level. I was slotting heal powers on the cheap going with attuned harmonized healing, miracle and doctored wounds but it was pointed out to me that what the enhancement screen was showing was a lie. The powers were only being buffed, attuned to not, to the lvl 40 values for HH and Miracle. So, yea, I had to replace a bunch of enhs over several builds due to this.

  16. Once you're at the softcap, DM's tohit debuffs become a wash. Adding KD to Spin and KB>KD to shockwave plus Focus' chance for KD will provide a TON of mitigation to allow for (as DG2005 states) your natural regen to do its thing. DM's damage output can be nice but really only when Soul Drain is fully utilized. It's aoe output is not very good, even with the recent Shadow Maul buff.
  17. My farmer goes with FU, Burn, Spin, FU, Shockwave, Fireball. I wouldn't mind tightening that up some. There's usually a gap between SW and FB that gets filled with Consume or Fiery Embrace or whatever.

  19. Sometimes I do IF I'm playing with my SG or my brother. Other than that? Nope. I'll also assume those that have invited me are not using voice chat unless the team leader specifically broadcasts as such at the start.

  21. Again, I see no need for enduring. Does Invul have some kind of +end power? If SR gets to combine passives and get a Sent based +recovery, shouldn't Invul? Shouldn't Shield? Like SR, it doesn't get end recovery until the T9. Of course, Shield's T9 isn't a steaming pile of uselessness like Elude and Unstoppable. I get what you're going for. I also get Troo's distaste for altering the set too much. It's actually easier for me to make the argument that Bio and Rad armors provide far too much in the "extra" department, as do ALL of the Sentinel armors, and to perhaps nerf them all, rather than continuing down the road of power creep and making already godlike sets even godlier.
  22. I see no reason to combine the other powers thus freeing up that slot. Having played SR on a Sent, I think it went overboard. It does feel like something that isn't SR. Melee SR doesn't need enduring. It's overkill. Edit 2: And, yes, other sets with click mez protection should be given the same option.
  23. I'm fine with the power order being tweaked. Scrappers absolutely get evasion far too late. I'm fine with melee SR getting the exact Sent treatment regarding PB and MB, where PB remains exactly as it is or you can choose the click +absorb and the mez protection gets moved to the toggles. I'm not keen on any of the other proposed changes.
  24. I usually go with the ragnarok set minus the chance for KB and replace that with a KB-->KD sudden acceleration.
