  1. So right, my bad. And I also completely forgot about just storing them in email, too. Yea, makes perfect sense to "balance" around their use. Let's also all be sure to "balance" around P2W amplifiers, warburg nukes and signature summons! All it takes is superior planning and a better understanding of how to use them, after all!
  2. I'm happy to consider their existence and use. What annoys me is how the pro-insps side likes to pretend they never run out and thus ignore/gloss over the actual in-game ramifications of when you don't have that break free for those stacked mezzes. It's dishonest. And as with most things, there's nothing inherently good about the status quo.
  3. The fact that you need insps to handle what I do without pretty much makes the case on its own. But as we still find, the crowd that insists X should be weaker and/or annoying to play for whatever reason will remain that crowd. No different than those that fight against fixes for Kheldians or Regen.
  4. Sometimes. The rest of the time the boss kills them because their T1/T2 attacks don't do enough damage to matter.

  6. Hrrrm. Last ditch thought. You only have one installation directory and everything's pointed at the correct one, yes? I only ask because over time I ended up with multiple installations and made this mistake with my silence sounds files.
  7. I get it. I think it's wrong. I find it grossly unfair and bad design that only meleers and ONE buff set get useful mez protection. Edit: Oops.. and Sentinels.
  8. But then I have to change my battlecry to "Stop or I'll Die!" and willfully be the worst player in any given situation just so that I'll have mez protection. Big ass /jranger on that idea.
  9. Was he ONLY talking about blaster secondaries? If so, fine. They're blasters. If they get any mez protection at all from their secondary yay for them. But defenders granting mez protection? Faraday Cage: Everything. Clear Mind: Everything. Dispersion Bubble: Hold, Stun, Immob even to the user. Increase Density: Everything. Antidote: Everything... etc

  14. See above about permalude. 🙂 It wasn't an issue after that. At least that I can recall. Unsure when higher rank/level became Acc buffs though. Do remember getting a ping on Steam when brutes got claws and the new difficulty settings were put into place.
  15. I vaguely remember folks talking about that. Ugh. Flip side, I very much remember the day I got permalude. Folks would literally ping me to come help kill all the sappers in Malta missions.
  16. Truth be told, on the topic of mez itself, I'd still prefer every powerset that has a power that grants mez protection to teammates also affect the player. Non-stackable, of course. As it is, I skip it. Were it changed, I'd take it and use it often and make sure I had a pet to use it on for soloing.

  19. That went on for ages. We got our numbers from players on the forums instead. Yes, CoD is a VASTLY superior tool.

  21. And FF does suck in much of the game because far too many are able to hit the defense softcap on their own thanks to set bonuses and/or barrier. The problem isn't with FF, the problem is with IOs and Incarnate powers. AR and Mercs definitely deserve some buffage. I really like my AR/Nrg Sent and her damage output is downright awful.
  22. I'd be fine with Hold, Stun, Sleep. I'd prefer it be to all. I'd still never take Acrobatics and I'd still almost always take Combat Jumping. The first is complete crap by any definition and I marvel at anyone ever taking it. The second is a very low cost defense IO mule with a huge buff to combat maneuverability.
  23. That's the question. What mag do bosses usually throw around? Thinkin it's mag 3. So that would be fine, too. Any lower than the average boss mag for a single mez, however, and it's worthless and shouldn't even be considered.
  24. Sounds more like just yes since the base design across the board was horrible. But a question... how did they rationalize practiced brawler? It was a click, which meant SR would have been able to use it while still having a defense toggle on. So very glad I didn't start until issue 1. Toggle exclusivity would have had me turn right around and never play.
