  1. It's long past time for the MotT Resist proc to get nerfed. It's ridiculously, brokenly overpowered.

  7. I have corruptors as well. Defs and Cors have always stepped on each others' roles. Doesn't change the fact that 8 corruptors are still considerably faster than 8 defenders and a solo corruptor is still faster than a solo defender in most cases. So I'll also disagree with your assessment of "not vice versa." Before it was added, defenders lagged too far behind corruptors solo, and quite frankly It was a far more elegant "fix" than the hamfisted buffs tanks recently received.

  9. What the hell is wrong with soloing? I actually enjoy soloing my time/fire defender for hours on end.
  10. BF, SS, AS would trigger a massive HP and damage debuff to the player. That'd keep it from being OP.
  11. Nope. Just crank up a tank and solo everything. /sarcasm off Or was it sarcasm? Debuffs and Buffs are awesome. Run around with a full team of corruptors and slaughter everything. That's not even remotely sarcasm. It's hilarious how a Murderball of Cors can lay waste to anything the game can throw at them. Play what you want. The vast majority don't care what you bring as long as you enjoy it. Which is probably why my SG will be happy when I quit playing my mastermind and kheldians.

  13. Funny bit there pointed out this morning by @BillyMailman Due to the way tanks received their AoE buffs, they still maintain the better proc chance of smaller AoEs while having more of a chance of hitting more targets and having higher max targets hit. Tanks weren't overbuffed my ass.

I completely understand not thinking during off-time in the same way as on-time. I'm just not capable of changing modes. Probably why I burnt out on IT, quit the highest paying gig I've ever had, sold my house and moved from TX to MA.
  16. Truth. Total chain time of FU, Spin, SW is 4.884 and the chain time for Leap, RF, Shred is 6.072. Hmmm.
  17. Side note on the blinds: the build I used has neither tactics nor focused accuracy and I was never blinded on my run. Apparently killing everything at ridiculous speed while having tanker mitigation means something. Whoda thunk?

  20. Maybe? I run FU, Spin, Shockwave, repeat on my scrapper. (Fu, Focus, Spin, SW, repeat on the brutes and tanks.) And, no, I don't proc out any of them. Feels dirty and wrong. Even more so now that I ran that fire/rad/soul tank through Trapdoor.
  21. Same unless I'm on my farmer which does use combine\use macros. Probably why I hate using them.
  22. Watched Help channel some last night. There was a discussion regarding brute vs tanker. I chose not to get involved even with the misinformation being stated and instead set it back to my general tab. Seemed like the far saner course of action.
  23. Spin recharges in 9.2 versus Leap's 40. They use the same sets so same number of procs with Leap's higher base recharge improving the chances for procs. Leap's radius is 15' vs Spin's 8'. Leap's average damage per Mids is 121 vs spin's 41. Same # targets hit but higher chance to hit that 10 with Leap. So 3x the damage but 25% up as often? Going tricked out on recharge, spin drops to 2.4 secs, so comparable recharge on Leap drops it to 10 secs. Ratio stays the same. Seems a wash to me.
  24. One more reason why claws will always be superior to savage. Except on stalkers. C'mon, devs, just swap out stalker eviscerate for spin. It ain't rocket surgery.
  25. On my db/nrg scrap, I don't even see the orange circles because I only use BF, SS, AS for ST and BF, SS, TE for AoE. I would like to know why DB's combos no longer need to hit to function but StJ's system still requires a hit to build. My hatred of multiple animations for a single attack is long stated. It's why I won't play TW. I still play NrgMelee because even with the long and short ET animations in play, it's so ridiculously over the top running Long-ET, TF, Short-ET, Moonbeam/Gloom, BS, repeat that I can't NOT play it. Looking at the other sets in question... I either don't play them at all or as with DB, I just ignore the combos. I'm probably just old and stuck in my ways. Get off my lawn.
