  1. Side note regarding enemy resistances. After seeing Galaxy Brain's thread again, I'd been curious as to why I never really felt like slashing was being all that resisted and got to wondering if it was because of the enemies I most commonly fight. BP in DA; No SL DamRes KoV in DA: Minions and LTs - 10% SL DR, Bosses 15% SL DR Cimerorans: No SL DR. Which surprised me. Even more, Kheldians in ITF are also showing 0 as does the Minotaur until he hits unstoppable and it goes to 70%. Soooo yea. While the chart may be accurate for the entirety of the game, I have to wonder if it's accurate for 50+ enemies. Edit: Tsoo in DA: Minions and LTs 10% to Smashing, no Lethal DR. Bosses 15 to S and no L.
  2. I see the problem. Lumi's point was that the community has intelligent and helpful players. This should not be read as "all players are intelligent and/or helpful." So, no, the claim you think was made was not made.
  3. Every (almost?) zone should have an information kiosk. There's one in Talos directly across the street from the tram. Edit: My bad... it's on the same side of the street. I was thinking of the merit vending machine. Huh... there's actually two in front of the tram.
  4. Pretty sure those questions are precisely why it won't ever happen. The only option is to make everything hurt more. And the devs are already doing that with optional added difficulty. @Haijinxmentioned it in another thread. That's the only option available. (Along with buffing specifically badly performing power sets.)
  5. How much does a +5 recred reduce the Gaussian chance?
  6. Those points prove the statement. People don't know what's in the patch notes because they choose not to read them. People don't know how to craft IOs or build with Mids because they choose not to. Or they know exactly how to do it and still think it a waste of time. The information remains available to everyone.
  7. Yea, that ain't helping. And originally it was supposed to be THE goto AoE set, so the gimped ST damage was by design. I had an ice/spines tank once. Was awesome at holding aggro...
  8. For me, I found the single target damage to be abysmal. And the animations ugly.
  9. Just for giggles, I cranked up a max diff ITF with my time/fire def. She made it all the way to the seafood buffet before faceplanting. Those novae tore her up fast. Don't think she has the DPS to handle the AVs but she was built for teaming. Only thing I ever really miss on her is a rez but that just makes me work harder on keeping others alive.
  10. Rune of Protection is available at level 20 and works as a break free and there's always the P2W cheatcode Defense Amplifier for 4 mez protect. Hell, just gettin 8 hours of it at lvl 1 for 8000 inf and you can solo mez-free to 20 and still have hours left before it runs out.
  11. On top of this, if you do choose to just AE solo from 1 to 50 with anything, I'd be shocked if you only had 100mil by the end of it. I usually start with tunnel witches for a round, then bads in the city, both at +1/x1, then move to Brigg's when I'm high enough to handle +1/x8, slotting as I go until +4/x8 is achieved.
  12. I have one dom with hasten-less permadom. Log her on, go street sweep until domination is up, leave it on auto and it never goes away. But that takes gearing completely for global +recharge and kinda blows for other build choices. The others are regular permadom with hasten. Hasten is set to auto and I bound dom to V. Same thing I do with my SR and Shield builds where V is set for practiced brawler and active defense. Tray 1 is click attacks/powers I use often. Tray 2 above 1 is toggles and other long recharge clicks. Tray 3 above 2 contains powers I usually bind. Hasten will be on auto, then Dom/PB/AD, other heals or click buffs, etc. This makes it very easy to see when something is about to be ready again. Generally speaking, T, Y, U are self-buffs, V, B, N are click mez and heals.
  13. Citation needed. Can you *prove* you've never been attacked by a tiger?
  14. I wouldn't even try. Full disclosure time: Most of my characters can't do it at all or would be so slow getting it done I wouldn't want to bother. And I've happily spent hours wailing upon AVs. But I have seen others pull it off with armors I fail with. And with combos/ATs that I wouldn't dream of attempting it with. As mentioned earlier, where there's a will, there's usually a way.
  15. Add in the Miracle +recovery and that's my list as well.
  16. Might doublecheck that. I went into Mids Options, Effects and Maths, under Suppression, I checked off Attacked. Stealth is now showing only +2.95% defense.
  17. I gotta second time. I have a fire/time blaster, had a demons/time mastermind and fire/time corruptor, (he was only nuked due to redundancy,) but my time/fire defender sometimes feels as stupidly unkillable as my meleers. Yes, she has clarion. The defense amp from P2W works, too. This is soloed or teaming. I also have a fire/rad corrupter fully kitted out I only use for teaming but I'll always lean toward the time/fire def these days.
  18. I'm still on 10 and I've noticed increased lag, but I've yet to determine if it was game related or due to me being in a different state on a different ISP.
  19. Both are true statements. But old, in my case at least, also means lazy and it takes much more work to toughen up the brute in comparison since they start at scrapper levels of mitigation. It all boils down to just how lazy you wanna be.
  20. Cheatcode: Tanks. Death is hard to come by. Spam AoEs and Taunt when you're teaming and they'll think you know what you're doing. Recent buffs make them kill faster than they did. Fake it til you make it.
  21. I also went shadow meld/moonbeam on my nrg/bio scrap. Kill speed is insane even in defensive mode.
