  1. Although I wouldn't care if the tank or other person gets the invite, (whoever is faster on messaging me gets it regardless of AT) I too distinctly remember tanks telling the team to "wait while I gather". Less so by the time of Incarnates, but it was definitely a thing. Even in the IO years before incarnates.
  2. Was not meant as emotional. It was meant as a fact. They have limited time to work on this as volunteers. It is not their primary profession. So every choice they make to work on something for Homecoming is an opportunity cost to not be able to work on something else. So when I say I would rather they work on something else, I literally mean that in terms that this suggestion we're discussing should never be a priority, IMO. The amount of time this would take for very limited return on investment, would knock the time out for other more important requests and suggestions. Just like every other suggestion, others are allowed to point that out.
  3. Does the Peacebringer Nuke drain end still, or did they get the buff for nukes that was done long ago?
  4. @golstat2003 Try and get a laugh out of the forum baptism you're gonna get. Please re-look at your quotes and the original posts. I never said that. The person I quoted did.
  5. Brutes are fine.
  6. Pretty much been doing nothing but converting enh and selling, and building up some old lvl 50s with purples. Made about 876 million this week which promptly went into purple out 2 toons (one a warshade lol) and a complete build for another.
  7. You're missing a category that is almost no effort if you know what to do. To be blunt, you need to go to the market forums and read some guides.
  8. QFT. I'd rather have our VOLUNTEER UNPAID (in caps for the people in the back and the rafters) dev team work on . . . just about ANYTHING ELSE. lol
  9. They released stuff that was untested. Full stop. As someone who has worked in QA for 10 years it's pretty damn obvious. Characters being made invalid multiple f%#&ing times is the first thing that should have been caught if they are giving adequate time for testing. They aren't. If I were playing on that server with any regularity I would be annoyed. Thankfully each server is allowed to run their setup how they want. And again, bottom line, their example of how they are running it, is why MANY folks prefer HC's slow and steady approach.
  10. The bottom line is that characters have had to wiped multiple times on We Have Cake. That's not anyone making that up. Just go on their discord and it becomes obvious to anyone paying attention or you know, reading, that they've had issues. That to me does not sound like they have been doing proper testing when characters are marked as invalid multiple times or can crash areas of the game.
  11. And this is why I'm good with the slower pace of Homecoming.
  12. Yeah no. Keep the aggro cap the way it is. EDIT: If folks miss the days of an unlimited aggro cap, there are other servers/flavors of COH that have that out there.
  13. Stability is more important for me also. If sharing means HC's servers go to crap and we start getting invalid characters like is currently happening on one of the other servers, no thanks.
  14. LOL, Brutes are fine. Nearly every farm I was on this past weekend trying to get my Elec/Shield Brute up was run by a traditional fire farming brute. My brute started on Friday, and is now level 42 from missions, tfs and various farms -- Only one was run by a tank. Again Brutes will be just fine.
  15. The "devs" (let's be real, all of them are unpaid volunteers who have real life jobs) on each server have their priorities. And they are allowed to as unpaid developers. Homecoming has it's priorities and other servers have theirs. I prefer HC, especially with the issue of 64 bit vs 32 bit rearing it's head in the immediate future. YMMV.
  16. I prefer Homecoming's approach, and I like the iTrials. So population matters to me. I wish We have Cake luck, but it might be more prudent to do proper testing of things, especially with the spaghetti code that is COH.
  17. 500 K is not a lot for salvage. Please read some of the guides on how to make influence on the current market, try some of the techniques and you'll see it's not a lot at all.
  18. Well yeah, that part is kind of obvious. NCSoft never authorized anyone to run COH. So anyone running one is not legitimate. EDIT: With that said I'm glad the code got out there and if any of the servers go down (including HC) the COH bottle is out in the wild. Maybe not a version that has things like customizable PA, but definitely a version that folks can run themselves. Ultimately the best thing would be if the negotiations go well and some legitimacy happens. Which is why I like the approach that HC is taking.
  19. They already said more than once that the agrro cap isn't on the ATs, and thus tanks could not have a different aggro cap than everyone else, or did I misunderstand them the multiple times they said it?
  20. So you admit you're trolling. Good to know.
  21. OUCHIES!!!!
  22. No you can't buy specific IOs like that in an hour. It would take a lot more. And often times if one or more of those high level IOs is missing, you'd have to wait for them to fill or try to convert/create/craft them yourself.
  23. Yeah no. For me I'd never do this. That fee (profit) is absolutely abysmal for the amount of work I need to do (the amount of IOs I need to get for the person over time, based on your table). I can make 139 mil in less than 30 - 45 minutes of playing with converters and selling the resulting rares on the market. The fee (profit) would have to be waaaay more than 140 mil for me to ever consider doing this for anyone.
  24. Seriously, there was a errr discussion about this on the Everlasting Help/LFG channels this past weekend. Some claimed farming was faster for making inf than playing the market with converters. I actually laid out how to do it more than once and showed that you can actually make wayyyy more faster than farming. A few hours later two folks sent me a tell thanking me for showing how and that yes, they made inf faster on NEW characters than with any farming build they had, in a two hour time frame. I told them not to thank me, to go to the Market section of the forums and thank them! 😎
