  1. Don't be afraid to muck about in your settings, there are quite a few things you can do to improve your graphics, make the UI appear to you liking and set controls like mob targeting. Also, you can find more tips in this thread. There are also various help threads down in 'Tools, Utilities, & Downloads' and 'Guides' sections of the forums.
  2. In addition to what @Greycat said, having use of PvE build in PvP... let me know what you think about that after you get slaughtered when you get perma-held. I don't care for PvP myself, there is no incentive you could add to the game that will get me to PvP. The only reason I even enter the zones is due to the placement of exploration badges. I'm fine with people wanting to PvP, they have several zones and the Arena to do that in. I think any MMO these days needs a PvP component as there is a good amount of gamers that enjoy that aspect of the game. The only thing I could think to add to PvP that PvP'rs (and likely RP'rs) would enjoy would be a revival of base raids. Unfortunately, with the free hand the Devs have provided base builders this would pretty much be a non-starter. Only way I can see getting around base rules for pathing/clipping is for SG's to have the ability to have a 2nd base that is strictly for base raids and would have to follow certain restrictions on pathing/placement/blocking/etc. Sadly, I think the scope of that would be monumental if not improbable.
  3. I have to disagree that pre-50 content requires a group. I've solo'd multiple characters through Goldside content, which is typically more difficult then comparable levels on Blue/Redside, mobs have more tricks up their sleeves and ambushes ignore stealth. The trick to soloing is being smarter and using tactics rather than just assuming that you can zerg the missions.
  4. Haven't had this issue at all playing on Torch.
  5. I was going to suggest using Spectrum costume pieces but, there are part that are lacking and didn't match up well, so I decided on using mainly Bio-luminescence pieces. Also, depending on your preferred powersets, you can use toggles to add to their look and feels of impishness. I chose Fire Blast/Dark Armor Sent for Dark's efx to add to the costume look. 6. If you're just coming back after the long sleep after Legacy CoH and are looking for old SG pals, head down to the Reconnect section of the forums, most of the old servers have their own threads of players announcing their return. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/47-reconnect/
  7. Something I noticed when the winterized Atlas Park was up during the holidays is that the badge location markers were missing on the map. I usually have a set circuit I travel so I rarely look at the Atlas map anymore, but when I realized I didn't have LTP on one of my characters I had parked in The Hollows went back to Atlas and no exploration and I think plaque markers. We were going after Frostfire so I forgot about it at the time. 🫤
  8. I just verified that my Praetorian can enter Echo Plaza via the Tunnel network.

  10. Programmers and UI and such do not always have control over the design of a product or application or are listened to when providing advice/feedback.
  11. Not exactly sure what you are asking for but it may be best to ask up in Help & Support. A mod can even move your post up there. Good luck. :)
  12. ☝️ This, I keep my map open at all times.
  13. Reactor Mass is now available.
  14. Fair warning about Praetoria content, the mobs are tougher, ambushes ignore stealth and will hunt you down and if you want to play though all of the contact's mission arc, you'll need to turn off XP and not touch the XP boosts from the P2W Vendor (Transact 4 Victory in Praetoria). As soon as you outlevel them they will ignore you. On all of my Praetorians is use the following to toggle my XP on/off /macro_image "DayJob_XPBoost" "XP Toggle" "option_toggle noxp" This puts a button on my toolbar that I can click whenever I'm closing in on the top level range for any particular contact. Welcome to CoH.
  15. Thanks for clarifying @Rudra I couldn't recall if you got a popup for the University contacts or not. Now, if the OP really wanted to melt their brain and dig into enhancements, @Yomo Kimyata has a pretty detailed walk-through down in the Guides section.
  16. Well, welcome new person to the game. SO = Single Origin enhancement (Like Science or Mutation) DO = Dual-Origin enhancement (Like Science/Tech or Natural/Magic) DO's will provide a lesser bonus to your stats than SO's. Further along, generally around 35, players will slot IO's (Invention Origin enhancements) that are craftable at the university or in a base. There are Set enhancements that are also IO's, but provide further bonuses depending on how many you slot into a particular power. Once you hit level 10 you should get a contact at the university in Steel Canyon, which will lead you through the steps for crafting a generic IO. Keeping enhancements leveled up gets expensive at the higher levels. The Homecoming devs were kind enough to provide us with a 1-buttong click to upgrade all of our enhancements (DO's/SO's) in one shot, but it'll cost. My Corruptor ding'd to 47 tonight and all her SO's turned red (which means they are too low to provide any bonus) and it cost a little over 5m influence to update them all. In the grand scheme of thing that's not that much, but I don't marketeer on all of my characters so their pockets are generally not overflowing. :)
  17. Everyone has their own preference regarding slotting enhancements. I tend to slot origin-appropriate SO's that drop and sell other origin SO's in the Auction House (in case you do not know, you can access it by typing /ah in chat). DO's I sell to a vendor. The same goes for buying SO's, I'll look in the AH for ones that fit my needs as they tend to be cheaper than buying from a vendor. As for enhancements for builds, you'll want to look down in the Archetype section of the forums, people will likely have posted the powerset combo you have and their slotting setup, though usually it's their L50 build and enhancement sets, though many of the posters can be pretty thorough and will provide details on what they suggest slotting at the earliest possible level. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/43-archetypes/
  18. I love the CoT pieces, especially the shoulder pads. Need the tall hats and the belts though.
  19. No coordinates, but it's easy enough to got to, just enter the tunnels under the dead tree in Faultline then right/left/right at the intersections. You'll come out on the other side of the dam where the turrets are in the north-west corner of Overbrook Dam.
  20. It's hidden room of cubicles and a dancer's cage with a skull in it at the entrance. You may or may not come across Arachnoids in there. Someone was asking about it in an older, similar thread and I posted pics of how to get there.
  21. The only "merging" on Legacy was when the EU server list was "merged" with the US server list.
  22. Folks that want a more populated server can move to a more populated server.
