  1. Yep, which is why any MM Bots walk around sounding like rubber duckies instead of tromp-tromp-tromp, Demon Lt's giggle like 6mo infants and my team mates knows when I say "Box of hyenas!" there's a glowie nearby.
  2. Where on earth were they hiding?
  3. The Holy Trinity is one of the thing I hate about other MMO's. I play DDO with some friends and that what we play is more determined by what is needed on the team (trapper/tank/healer) rather that what we'd really like to play is a major annoyance. What you call "chaos" I call freedom. There are other things that CoH does that I also see as providing superior QoL gameplay to players over other MMO's and it's why I'm still here.
  4. I took it to mean that we are fiber. Runs off to make a Water Blast/Earth Manip Defender named Meta Mucil.
  5. Same here. Having a 25%, 50% 75% XP reduction option would be very handy Gold-side. Missed out on an alignment mission because I didn't toggle off XP prior to the completion of a single mission.
  6. I've had the same issue with finding the location the sfx files for Symphony Control. :(
  7. I look at it this way, HC Mods and Devs don't appear to have a hangup about reviving older threads, so why should I. I always found it odd that thread necro-ing was frowned upon back on Legacy ( and here too by some) especially if the topic/discussion was still relevant and contained useful info pertaining to the discussion, rather that having to search through multiple threads for that info.
  8. Shhhh... now everyone will want the recipe.
  9. Can always base-edit the station into something more appealing. I just threw together a mystic empowerment station in my base real quick to give it some flair. I don't use tech items very much because I hate listening to them, but the same can be done to spice it up.
  10. It was always a personal achievement for me to collect all the exploration badges in The Hollows with nothing but Sprint, prior to hitting 14 and getting a travel power. I'm mostly over that now. :) Even on a 'natural' character I can justify Super Jump by putting rocket boots on them in the CC. Mostly I pick travel powers that fit the character concept.
  11. Not that you can increase health or stamina with it but the Empowerment Station in your base can load you up on numerous buffs. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Empowerment_Station#Available_Empowerments
  12. Oh my god please this Could be perhaps that the affect of 'summoning' Adamastor, tp's those in the party to an instanced map to fight Adamastor?
  13. I just though it'd be hilarious if one of the Mods spawned as Adamastor in that spot and crushed the campers.
  14. Much destruction was to be had.
  15. Because it's stuck in my head currently, I am going to inflict it on all you good folks. Dexys Midnight Runners, Kevin Rowland - Come On Eileen (1982 Version)
  16. I run a VPN on my laptop, so I have to authorize every time I restart my machine or re-launch my browser. I have a password manager so I don't find it that big of an issue, especially if it keeps out the post spammers.
  17. I believe they were discarded as a group in-game when it was discovered that they just stalked a pizza delivery guy to the exclusion of all else.
  18. The only think I've been able to come up with regarding "Useless Lesbian" is if the character history was something along the lines of "The first female born on an all male planet and she finds she's not attracted to men." Yeah, it's a stretch but I'm on the 'I see it as offensive' side of the discussion. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
  19. This is where educating you child about the history of some meanings and words comes into play. It's a teaching moment.
  20. Blue and red-side are more forgiving, if you were of the appropriate level when you picked up their arc, you can usually complete it. On goldside, you will be ignored by your contact as soon as you outlevel them, regardless of where you are in their arc. It's already happened to one of my characters during my latest play-thru on goldside, it was their final mission which was a solo, so my team mates were able to do it but the contact told me to pound sand.
  21. According to one of the Devs, the way AE missions/arcs are created is not compatible with how the rest of the in-game content works. I'd already asked about this in a previous thread. It's too bad too, as there are some excellent AE creators out there working to build their arcs that live within the game's lore. Regarding fixing mission arcs, I'd rather see Praetoria's contacts not put me on ignore should I happen to ding a level past their range. Which is all too easy. Shouldn't have to toggle XP throughout your entire run to avoid cutting out contacts and missing entire chains. :(
