Made a change to get a bit more S/L Resist. Move the Avalanche set to Boxing and took Assault for more damage. AND OMG! THE END RECOVERY IS INSANE! Only level 45 and I can fight non stop with Fly on right now.

Yes, but as I was in Boomtown, I came to realize, there was no Trainer and BaBs could slide in nicely there. "After getting his butt kicked, BaBs went to Boomtown to retrain against the enemies of Boomtown"

When was that originally intended? I don't recall reading that on live, when they put Ms Liberty there. Though, I'm surprised they didn't just replace that TF, like they did Sister Psyche's TF, when they killed off Statesman.

For this build I didn't really want to rely on Epic Attacks. Not even planning to Hover away in the distance. Nuke is a PBAOE after all. Just wanted to constantly hover as it seemed to fit the concept. My goal was to be able to go Shriek > Scream > Shriek > Screech > Repeat (only a .006 gap in Screech, so this seems to work for that) and survive. I got softcapped F/C/E/N defenses all the time. S/L Resist almost hits 75% with Defensive Adaption on. Think there's ways to help that S/L defense? Maybe I'll be fine? I never felt those attacks to be slow (the ones mentioned) even if the damage is applied at end. This could be due to me not paying attention to when the damage number pops up and just going on killing things 😛 I did mention however that unlike Focus, I don't think Ranged Burst is meant to be part of the regular attack string. I don't even think Repulsing Torrent is supposed to be regular AOE. I felt (and I am sad about this with Ranged Burst) that they're meant to be more utility. Peg those runners. Knockback that group about to take you down. Burst, close enough to other PBAOEs I don't worry much about that one. CS is slower, and I've said before that I think it needs to be able to crit at least part of it's damage, but I do believe it's the slowest of the "heavy hitter" attacks. Can't speak on Power Siphon as it's been so long since I played the set, I don't recall my experience with it. 😛

Quick Strike 1.056 Body Blow 1.32 Smashing Blow 1.452 All three of those match the animation times of Claws, if not LOWER... Follow-Up 1.056 Focus 1.32 Slash 1.584 Not sure where you get that Kinetic Melee is so slow. Burst takes a little longer than Spine, but only by .3 seconds. Kinetic's Range attack is likely there for utility, more than all the time damage.

Electric / Shield Scrapper Build Help and Information Request

Had one back on live and as I recall, I kept Jacob's Ladder, as it could slot the -Resist Proc and helped it's ST DPS. I don't recall the exact ST string I used, but it did have JL in it and I could solo AVs (this isn't to say it was the most powerful in ST DPS) and wasn't as terrible as I felt many made it out to be. Though, I get the idea that much like Claw's Eviscerate, it's the animation length that may annoy people. I did however, skip it on my Elec/Bio Stalker, as my Stalker has Assassin Strike. -
Well, I did take Assault. Also, it pushed me over the the softcap on a S/L/P. Also just nice to have for some teams, but if I didn't need it...hmmm...would make wish I could take TWO Epics 😛

Okay, that's easy enough to do 🙂 A quick look makes me realize, Maneuvers without the LotG is only losing .3% Defense to all.

Basically capped F/C Resist, with softcapped S/L/E/N/P Defense. Don't feel the need to chase +HP Bonuses, as Earth's Embrace does a good job of capping your HP. So, Unbreakable Guard just isn't needed. Other's are likely to skip Fly, which would make it easier to grab Hasten with Super Speed or Super Jump as your travel. For me, Fly works for the concept. Char can be dropped easily as well. Likely for Body Mastery for Conserve Power and Physical Perfection. I can see the appeal. However, concept and I like having a Hold and Range attack power for Hami Raids and LGTF, luckily Claws comes with two ranged attacks. Moved the LotG +RCH out of Minerals, as I was softcapped to Psi without it, to Stone Skin to increase it's Defense. Titanium Coating does seem to be the way to go for the Resists, but don't feel the +HP is much benefit. I can see the appeal for FU > SL > FO > Repeat or even FU > SL > FO > SW > Repeat (had a build with this one, a bit heavier on the END, Physical Perfection a must imo) which was more fun to use than the 3 attacks one, but I love adding in Eviscerate. Big power hit feeling to it. If you feel like you can sacrifice the 6% S/L Resist that Superior Scrapper's Strike gives, could put the Critical Hit Bonus IO into Strike and move that slot to other places as well. More defense in Stone Skin or maybe an ENDMOD, +END PROC (Performance Shifter), or +Heal Proc (Power Transfer) in Crystal Armor.

I know for my build, Aegis was chosen over Titanium, purely for the Psi Resist. I did look back and forth between Aegis and Titanium. I put Kismet in Combat Jumping, because I didn't take Tactics, and I figure it'll also be handy for when exemping down, like Positron TFs. Geode does hardcap recovery, but it also takes you out of the fight, I like relying on it for when I did to regain health myself. HOWEVER...you made me realize that Shockwave does as much single target damage as Eviscerate if not more, so I could substitute Eviscerate for Shockwave. And still keep Follow-Up recharging under 4 seconds to go Follow-Up > Slash > Focus > Shockwave > Repeat which should be the same or better DPS that I was doing...likely bit better since Follow-Up buff is up longer.

I like the Preventive Medicine Proc with the rest of the set, for the +8.75% Recharge the 6th slot set bonus gives.

Does the +Recovery from this IO always work or does the power need to be activated? Can I put it in a click power and it'll still give the +Recovery without clicking it, like Preventive Medicine's Absorb Proc is always in effect, just by slotting it?

Contemplating changing the slotting in Mudpots from 5 slotting Ice Mistral to 5 slotting Superior Avalanche. More Slow Resist, more F/C Resist (would be 72% with Reactive Defense to hit the 75% when low on HP) and even more S/L Defense. Easy to get the recharge for Follow-Up > Slash > Focus > Eviscerate > Repeat Which seems to do as good as if not better ST DPS than losing Eviscerate, but I can understand if people don't care for the slower flip in there (I still like the animation :p)

Edited the slotting on Energy Absorption. More +RCH than the slotting in Weave gave.

Oh, thinking on it, I'd likely move the Steadfast +3% Defense IO to Icy Bastion. Don't lose much on Tough (less than 1% S/L Resist) and gain quite a bit on Icy Bastion's Resists.

Been awhile, but if I recall, it's Defense can't actually be increased, so it's more of a surrounded by enemies ability, rather than when 1 on 1.

A first thought I have, is I'd six slot Reactive Defense in Frozen Armor, since it'll give you more resists and more +RCH. Looks like at the cost of 2% Damage increase, but also get better END Use Management. Hoarfrost with Preventive Medicine (so move a slot from Health) instead of Doctored Wounds. Better bonuses with more Resists and more +RCH. I'd replace the KD Proc in Shockwave to the Damage IO. The attack does Knock. You have KB-KD Proc. May as well get more damage. I'd personally drop Physical Perfection for Permafrost for the added Slow Resist and Fire Resist. Put in some +5 with the IOs (including the RCH IOs in Hasten, to make it perma) and you'll help take care of more end problems you may face. Seeing as how you have Energy Absorption for End Recovery and Conserve Power, I just don't see it being an issue, especially since part of claws gimmick is cheaper end use. Speaking of Energy Absorption, I'd maybe replace the ENDMOD IO with the +5% Resist All IO. Putting in Permafrost also allows putting the +3% Defense IO in it, and slotting Unbreakable Guard to 4th set bonus and more +Resist. Teamed with a Claws/Ice Scrapper with my own Claws/Stone Scrapper the other day. They seemed to be doing really well. I hear Ice Armor isn't as good as other sets, but I do recall enjoying it on live with my Ice/Ice Tanker.
