  1. Will do thank you. Appreciate the reply.
  2. Thanks for the reply @GM ColdSpark. When I logged on this morning, this seems to have corrected itself. Tech portal is working now as it should. Would you happen to know if there is a maximum screen resolution the base editor itself will work with? As I mentioned above, it seems like the editor cannot handle 3840 x 2160 resolution. If I try to place, move or manipulate an object on the right side of the screen, nothing will happen. I have to work on the left side of the screen in order to place anything. If I place an item on the left of my screen and then try to drag it to the right, about 80% of the way there it just stops and will not move any farther. Laptop is brand new and all drivers and such are up-to-date. Any insight would be appreciated.
  3. For some reason, the tech Portal Unit teleport device will not work. I have power in the base with beacons attached, but when I click on it to use it, it tells me there are no beacons attached. I am on a hero and all beacons are to hero zones, so I should be able to see them. In edit mode, the item shows 10/10 beacons attached. I have tried deleting the portal unit and beacons. I have also tried deleting the entire room and starting over with no success. Either this particular item is bugged or the whole base is bugged or some combination of the two. See screenshots below. On a side note, the base editor in general has been very, very buggy of late on my new laptop. It seems to me the editor cannot handle working in UHD screen resolution. It will only allow placement and manipulation of objects if they are on the left side of the screen.
  4. Thanks for the updates and continued efforts! 😁
  5. Apologies if this is a bit vague to describe. Unfortunately, we cannot post videos so it may be difficult to conceptualize. Essentially, I am unable to grab items and drag them to the right of the screen or move them vertically or rotate them. Moving to the left works just fine and I am able to manipulate them on the left side of the screen. It is not a mouse issue as I have tried different mice. It is not the base items as I am able to work with the editor no problem with other laptops. I tried setting the display to a lower resolution but still no dice. Windows, BIOS and GPU drivers are all up-to-date. I am wondering if this is a UHD resolution issue? My new laptop is 3840 x 2160 resolution and one thing I have noticed is that the black theater bands on cut scenes are missing from the right side of the screen when they are shown. Could this be a problem with the editor and aspect ratio? Anyone else using UHD resolution?
  6. Personally, I would say there is no need for it more so than no desire for it. Were the existing PVP zones overflowing with multiple instances, I might consider this a good suggestion. However the lower level PVP zones (at least from what I see on Torchbearer and Excelsior) are totally empty. RV is really the only zone I see people in on occasion. This is more a supply looking for a demand instead of the other way around.
  7. Ok, why is that a tremendous amount of work? Incarnate level NPCs already exist in game.
  8. While you are correct there will be those selling templates that someone else made, keep in mind that joining a group to build a base is not always feasible. More intricate bases can literally take several months to build and I have heard stories of builders getting booted from a group before being fully compensated. As a builder myself, I would not mind being able to auction a template/shell of a base design and layout where someone fills in the details. I would also be curious if certain mission maps that already exist could be converted into base templates. I agree with @Yip this might be a great influence sink and could go a long way toward getting some people started with their bases.
  9. While true, there are a couple of maps that are quite annoying when it comes to finding the hostages. There is one in Crimson's arc finding a Russian Ambassador and one in the old Praetorian arc to rescue hostages from those Shadow things that can be truly aggravating.
  10. Personally, I would love it if we were able to pick up where we left off if we want to stop an Oro arc mid-way through to do something else.
  11. Why would it require a "tremendous amount of investment of time and resources"? The zones are already built.
  12. At least to me, these would be better utilized as zones for much needed incarnate level co-op content instead of PvP. There are already plenty of lower level zones in my opinion.
  13. Wow! I wonder what this means for the film franchises going forward? Sad news.
  14. Look under the NPCs for ones named Quartermaster and Trainer (I think)
  15. Personally, I think it has led to people joining groups for the reason they should be joining - to team up and play with like minded people, not just to bring people on as prestige mules.
  16. Run the first two missions from Heldenjaeger in Steel Canyon. That TF will get more than half way through Unveiler in a few minutes.
  17. Well no, I am not. There is a big difference between being insta-killed upon rezzing versus rezzing in a jail cell in relative safety.
  18. That is a far cry from being insta-killed as is with the mission in question.
  19. With the jail cell, you are still able to collect yourself and re-toggle.
  20. I think you and I may be the only ones then! 😉
