  1. I craft and list all day EST just a mil or so above the last 5 prices shown and won’t get a single sale until about 5p EST....and then will sell several dozen all at once at the higher price. By 10-11p EST they will start dropping again, sometimes rapidly. In a few niches where qty for sale is small relative to demand and there’s scarce “easy” conversion seed recipes available, I have made bank putting in low bids on same items I’m selling high and basically buy back twice what I sell....just to repeat this same model the next night. Can’t do this forever though. Eventually someone floods that category so I have to stay spread across a number of areas. Ive also noticed a few highly volatile low level procs recently. They can swing wildly from as low as 1mm to as high as 7-8mm between weekday and weeknight demand.
  2. By the way, there was a time back on Live when Mez effects were build breaking. There’s been a lot of changes with Homecoming that makes this less (not entirely NOT...but LESS) of an issue. Sorcery Pool, for example, has a fast recharging self buff that acts as a break free AND can bump up your +RES to S/L significantly. I have it on my Thugs/Time and when I jump into the spawn with Times Juncture running (big -TOHIT is equivalent to more +DEF for me and my henchmen), I take the alpha and it -usually- whiffs. But even when it doesn’t, Sorcery pool gets me right back into the game. Clarion on auto-fire also works, obviously, but for leveling purposes, Sorcery is an option we didn’t used to have. It’s been pretty game changing for me.
  3. If you go purely by the DPS testing against Pylons, Thugs/Storm with heavy proc’s for FF +Recharge is likely the top raw damage output king. Even with long Recharge, using Burnout for Double Ganga War adds a bunch. I’ll say in actual PVE I didn’t see the same kind of DPS but it’s still pretty obscene levels of damage output. And while others have noted that your heal from /Storm is lackluster, I didn’t even bother taking it or Hurricane post lvl 32....kill stuff faster is the strength of this build not healing. Demon/Storm is sturdier but not quite as awe inspiring as filling a room with something like 20 henchmen at once. Impressive output though. BOTH will have you needing serious END help via Cardiac, Ageless or even both. Otherwise I’d say Thugs or Demon coupled with /Time. Time gives you great DEF, great Heal, great -TOHIt for even safer Tankerminding and lots of Recharge. Bots/Time has always been my favorite blend of great damage, sturdy henchmen and great overall effectiveness.
  4. We have access to a new power set for MM’s also now. Electrical Affinity. It’s a +Res/+END set with heals and Absorb shields and it has a mechanic to assist you in -END your foes. It works pretty well with some primaries, less so with others. Long thread here in MM forums with lots of discussion and builds for your review.
  5. I have noticed as much as 40-50% swing in prices of procs between morning and late night EST weekdays. I tend to see swings going the other way weekends. Time of day and day of week both really matter when trying to get the best returns as well as when to try and stock up on recipes at cheap prices for later crafting.
  6. Seems very logical.
  7. Exactly what I'm seeing, mainly on Bosses, but Lieuts do it also. Minions far less, but that's likely because they are gone faster. But again, not everyone in the thread seems to find this "fleeing" mechanic to be true. I don't know what causes it but it's annoying and takes away from the killing speed of Bots since many of the heavy hitters are AOE's.
  8. I appreciate the kind words but to be clear, this isn't the right playstyle/powerset combo for ME. I was burned quite a bit going with builds that I would invest HEAVILY in (time/effort/build criteria and eventually IO sets/purples/Incarnates) and then literally just stopped and parked them. This was a fun project because I really tried to make the set shine. But it just never...did. Not for me anyways. I confess to being a min/max'er. If I can't solo +4/x8 on a MM I'm doing something wrong or the set just won't allow for it. This one....not going into top tier by any means. Too much of the secondary set is redundant/not worth slotting, and it does little to augment Bots (other than the healing making them fairly sturdy). Demons/EA....I can see how that would work far better. Maybe even some of the other primaries like Beasts. But I love Bots/everything and this feels like it's in the same class as /Trick Arrow for a MM. It wasn't well designed around the henchmen-are-your-weapons class mechanic. It should do far more to buff THEM along with team-mates and it just...doesn't. Thematically, however....if that's your thing....great combo. Short-circuiting robots look really cool.
  9. I'm sorry, wasn't clear. The issue isn't controlling the henchmen. It's that for some reason, when playing my Bots/EA, once I started draining spawn endurance, they'd start running quickly away. So without a group immobilize from the Patron Pool/Epics, you would end up having to chase the runners back down, provoke them back (if you play that way) or otherwise send your henchmen to chase them down, which is usually a great way to pull aggro onto yourself from nearby spawns. Others have not reported this issue but for me it became overwhelmingly annoying. It's like the AI is coded that once they have no END, they just...flee. But again, could have been related to the Burn patches from the Bots also. Hard to tell.
  10. There’s a recent thread on Reddit about these. Interesting effects. It appears to be unintentional and married to the liedown emote.
  11. I found that scattering effect as well, but others in this thread have said it wasn't happening to them. Don't know if that's EA draining making them flee, the Burn patches from the Bots, or some combination unique to the two in play. But it was VERY annoying for so many levels until I got the Immob.
  12. I’m pretty much done with Bots/EA. It’s inferior in every way possible to Bots/Storm, Bots/Time and Bots/Traps. Very sub-par to Thugs/Storm and Thugs/Time. Respec, strip all IO’s, xfer them to a better toon and delete. EA isn’t bad, it’s just NOT GOOD. All hat, no cowboy.
  13. Fairly certain it’s a combo of the Ghoul Flex and Tantrum emotes, which can be earned by running the Praetorian Great Escape event. The “macro” is likely a costume change emote special effect.
  14. In all my times running this, which is likely several hundred times, never saw it show up other than in warehouse. Learn something new all the time.
  15. Exactly this. And note that he’s not always in the warehouse proper. I’ve encountered him in the break room above the warehouse, at the top of the ramp before warehouse, at the bottom of the ramp leading up to break room and even the hallway just before the ramp. The final glowie has always been in warehouse for me though, although it can be just outside of break room when you enter. The other glowies are always at the T junction by the first warehouse, in that warehouse proper or up on the catwalk above it. And you can ignore the bosses up there entirely. Just get the glowies, the Tsoo leader and his entourage and done.
  16. In combat, I'm at 46% Melee. Just checked. I sometimes find minor differences between what MIDS shows and the Combat Monitoring widget in-game. Parry is what makes this build as sturdy as it can be. Toggle it on in Mids, even if you toggle off Hide and Stealth to really 'artificially neuter' the defense readings, you'll see the impact. It's in every single attack chain I'm executing. During combat, with just single application of Parry, I'm at 62% Melee Defense. Double checked my Incarnate powers....since I've T4'd out this character a couple months ago, he's basically just perma-parked in Cim now for ITF runs. I have Musculature for Alpha and Ageless for Destiny so don't have any additional +DEF buffs coming in other than from my own IO bonuses and powers. Out of Combat: In Combat, no Parry.... With Parry (single application) And don't forget about the "Chance to Hide" Proc which basically, in the middle of combat, will proc off and kick me up to over 70+% Melee DEF -DURING- Combat (for next attack anyways). This is partially why the set feels so OP. Now if I'm taking massive incoming fire from a bunch of DEFDEBUFFED Ranged attacks, yeah, it can get gnarly. But I'm usually in Melee 99.99% of the time anyways. I took Hybrid/Assault but you could take Hybrid/Melee if you really wanted some more mitigation than this. I've not found I needed any.
  17. Yeah farming a 50 can get the Emps quickly and some nice recipe drops also. But you can also just do this long enough to unlock all the slots. The best (for me anyways) strategy I’ve found to max out your T4 earning potential is to get all your slots unlocked first and then T3 out Alpha, Destiny and Lore slots before doing anything else. That gets you all three level shifts (50+3). Once you’ve got those level shifts you are fully capable of soloing a bunch of incarnate level arcs in DA for threads and such, and have a far easier time in BAF, LAM etc as well. Then you can slot out the other choices at your leisure although getting T3 in Judgement is usually my next goal just for the added DPS. Unless I just get insanely lucky with a bunch of VR drops I don’t even bother with T4’s until I’m fully level shifted.
  18. Has for me many times when I was farming. I’d sell almost everything other than the really valuable recipes for 1 influence and a few times that’s exactly what was paid...1 influence or close to it. Ive oddly seen this work the other way though. I don’t know how or the circumstances as I was offline at the time but I often have a bunch of bids sitting on 1 influence as means of triggering the actual last five (bug sometimes won’t display anything until you place a bid). More than a few times I’ve picked up really high priced IO’s or even a Winter Pack for 1 influence. I didn’t think the market worked this way but apparently it happens.
  19. Heathers Arc is easily soloable in 10 mins or less. Most of my characters can do it in under 9mins. There’s several guides on how to do it incredibly fast. You’ll need the Reveal power from the P2W vendor and you just focus on the main objectives, bypassing everything else. In second mission you actually bypass the final angel wing whatever to first run downstairs to start the married couple arguments, then return to upper floor to dispatch the target while they eat up time with their dialogue.....that shaved almost a min and half right there. And in final mission /final battle you let them both die. You don’t even have to fight the Tsoo guarding the entrance to the third mission if you are playing a hero. Super fast and super easy and yes, you should defer to the salvage drop vs the extra EMP unless you are just a few shy of what you need. I get a VR about one out of every 10 runs. Just make sure you set it at -1/x1 to keep it speedy. In fact I just T4’d out a new 50 last night and haven’t even hit Vet level 8 yet. It’s far more efficient than waiting for BAF’s to form up, especially if you play odd hours.
  20. So since I'm still rebuilding a handful of my old toons from Live, I dusted off my ancient Ice/Devices build. Back in the day this was a lot of fun, but obviously a bunch has changed since then. I hope to find it just as fun now, but with better durability. I'm not sure that all those proc's in Field Operative are going to work as I hope. But in the current build, he's softcapped DEF to S/L/E/N and Ranged pre-Incarnates. Decent recharge, but Resists suck. I do have the scaling Resists proc in there to help some, and very, very good Regeneration also. Any suggestions on how to improve it? I'll likely add in some purples at lvl 50, maybe replace a few other things as well based on feedback. Thanks for your ideas! 21. For more alts, obviously. I’m averaging 4-5 alts per week. I don’t play with generic IO’s, I start them all off with full matched sets of IO’s, and then at 50 will purple/pvp/Winter IO them out completely. Even at the current market rates, which are dirt cheap by Live standards, that’s 2.5-3B per week alt habit. So for me, fun out = money in. Others may be fine with less, I’m not.
  22. The invisible katana/sword issue has been around for months now, still no ETA on fix. At least you can see it. On my Sents with Ninja pool I rarely see anything. I also have noticed the weapons issue in costume creator. If I go to modify a costume element of any kind it resets the pistols or AR options to something random and I have to set it back again (and pay for that change) every time.
  23. I’m honestly still getting used to building Blasters for Sustain. Such an incredibly different take vs Blasters pre i24. I have an Ice/Devices here, literally a rebuild from Live days. Same exact slotting and all. I just pulled up my old saved MIDS build, double checked it against my final Sentinel export from 2012, and remade him. Even without taking advantage of new slotting techniques from FO and Taser and stuff he played like nothing I remember. He was primarily a zone PVP build but the new absorb and Regen/Recovery aspect just makes so much difference. Glass cannons no more.
  24. Never, ever sell a Purple recipe. They drop too rarely and although worth ten million or higher you can get so much more by crafting and converting it into one of the higher value damage Purples. Or better yet....craft and save it in Email to yourself or base for use when you hit 50. At 18-25 mm purchase price, it’s better to craft and save rather than sell now but pay high price later.
  25. Still have all my Champions rule sets, addendum's, scenario packs, etc up on my bookshelf. Loved that game. Here's Inspector Gadget. Simple and as true to the cartoon as I could get him. And just for bonus grins, another of my "silly" themed characters, my Thugs MM named "Stay Classy."
