  1. I know, that wasn't directed at your comment.
  2. I find these names incredibly offensive. That damn song would get stuck in my head anytime I see those badge titles.
  3. I do think the enter base code exploit should be addressed before any of these suggestions are implemented.
  4. I like this idea, except for the AH part. I think everyone using the same AH is the best way to go. So long as people understood the risks I see nothing wrong with it. For example, logging out in the middle of PI and logging back in during the middle of a Rikti Raid and immediately getting defeated by a drop ship means character goes away. As for people telling you it's not possible currently because of dev time, ignore that comment because unless it's a dev or admin, no random forum member speaks for them. Though I do always find it amusing when they try.
  5. Definitely want to use Burn. @Makobolite's advice was spot on. I tag as many mobs as I can from distance and have them chase me to my Burn patch. Sure they run away, but then something else takes its place. But I farm with an Ice/Fire, so all the slows and extra KD helps me out a quite a bit.
  6. I have all three on most of my characters, it's definitely not a waste. But since you are a Blaster your endurance situation is usually better than most, so if you find yourself short a slot or two then skipping one of them is fine.
  7. What kind of person enjoys rearranging powers in trays??????? Only a MONSTER! Even gingers have enough of a soul to despise that activity.
  8. I power level all of my characters with AE farms, and I personally think something like this where you're playing as Statesman or some other type of personal story thing without XP is 100% fine. Farmers and power levelers have everything we need, if there is a category of AE missions for people that want something different, why not? Seems fair to me.
  9. I'm in
  10. Someone suggested moving the damage from Dark Consumption to Soul Drain and I'm not a fan of that idea. I like to keep the mobs around when fighting AVs so I can keep Soul Drain saturated.
  11. This is why I made my first Blaster right before the big PvP changes, an Ice/Energy.
  12. If I keep the other mobs alive, then it's a lot more than 8% and it's either permanent or almost permanent.
  13. I have failed. I build my Scrappers so they don't need blue pills.
  14. My previous comment applies here too.
  15. What's going on here is denial with a capital D. So Denial. Denial of the one AT to rule them all. This is where I should put a clever rewrite of the one ring poem, but it's just not happening for me. So clearly my Scrapperlock needs work. A real Scrapper never has performance issues.
  16. Hitting things harder and faster than they hit you doesn't take intelligence. It's basically Scrapperlock, which makes sense since everyone wants to be a Scrapper.
  17. Not really. Not having to worry about endurance makes up for most of it. And for end game builds, a Blaster is every bit as easy to play as any other AT. It takes no additional skill to play a Blaster at this point. This isn't true, everyone wants to be a Scrapper. Even Blappers like you.
  18. No, it's an accurate term because everyone wants to be a Scrapper.
  19. Yes, but I forget the answer and don't have my build in front of me. One of them is fucking terrible. My Elec/SD Scrapper is living the retirement life making billions on the market, so I haven't fought with her in a bit. Edit: I'm assuming here that the answer is the same on Stalkers and Scrappers. Check in game for which has better damage per activation and choose that one.
  20. I don't want the nuke on Soul Drain because then it will be killing it's fuel. I want those minions and lts to stick around while I'm fighting an AV.
  21. First, the intent of your suggestion is clear if people use context. Not sure why anyone is hung up the semantics of you using 'right way' in your comments. It's silly, you were clear. That being said, I don't agree that this is really a problem. Some ways will always be more efficient, though I wouldn't be against a smaller price for merits I guess, but closer to 100k. It would give them more influence without doing much to the current converter market, which I think is pretty good as is. In the end, more influence in the system will mean higher prices to some extent, which has the potential of being a very bad thing depending on how it plays out. It would definitely lead to many of us having more, though I'm not sure that really matters in the end.
  22. I suspect I'm in the extreme minority with this opinion, so this isn't something I feel HAS to be done or even should be a high priority. Just my preference and what I would personally like the most. Hell, I'd happily settle for not having to redo my power trays after a respec.
  23. Would it be possible for to extract our character data into a CSV or Excel file? For no other reason that looking at my character information and to see interesting data, like which power I take most often(I actually know that one, it's Combat Jumping. I don't think such an export would need to be anything pretty or have any formulas in it already.
  24. Hit up close, preferably in the face, and embrace debt. If you ain't dyin, you ain't tryin.
  25. This is awesome! Also not surprising when I think about it, I feel you are on a good amount of the random TFs I join(along with O'Toole).
