  1. I was going to take a photo of my Blackberry . . . but my camera is in my Blackberry. . . . and then I remembered: Mirrors are a thing. AND THEN I remembered that I don't know where the USB plug for the damned thing is. How am I supposed to prove that Blackberry phones are still a thing? OH! Woe is me.
  2. That one dad as the Trainer with the pikachu . . . that look on his face says to me: "Oh please oh please, don't anyone realize that I'm out here for myself, and just dragging the kid along as a prop . . . "
  3. Best part of that? Look at what he's standing next to.
  4. Just you wait . . . Thursday of next week . . . I have some things to show you . . .
  5. You say that, @GM Laufeyjarson . . . but now I'm imagining the technomancer cats from Shadowrun hacking their way in to people's virtual tabletop sessions just to knock over the tokens.
  6. Well, with infinite potential realities, if we ever get the tools as players to author whole dimensions within the game, that would be amazing. I know, I know. For a lot of players, AE is "good enough" and "under-utilized." I just feel that its narrative thrust as a virtual reality entertainment system designed to harvest combat data from heroes and villains for the use of Dr. Aeon and the Battalion's spy . . . well, it's less than ideal. Having tools which could allow players to author entire alternate dimensions would allow a LOT more interesting stories, and would hopefully have more robust tools to create meaningful content. Heh. Talk about pipe dreams, eh?
  7. Aye. Something like that is certainly doable. I often wondered why it wasn't implemented for the Rogue Isles, honestly. Swim far enough south from Grandville and you should wind up on the northern edge of Mercy Island's map.
  8. I believe it has more to do with the bit which @WanderingAries brought up, @Player2. The base has to be "scrubbed" to make it fair and valid. There may be other issues too, as I've not personally seen how the process works. As with most things, it would be great to have a Dev give a solid answer to the questions of "can it be done" and "is it feasible," but we rarely get those for even development items which are high on their priority lists.
  9. That too all sounds rather awesome, @Darmian. Though it also sounds like a major upheaval of the game part of the game. Could be a great place to start off the story and set the stage for City of Villains 2, or as an alternate timeline/dimension.
  10. I've tried! I've tried so many times, but apparently I just don't have enough billions of Inf to get any of my bases built . . .
  11. So . . . my weekly Group was taking a break from Vampire for a bit to do some Rogue Trader, but now we're about to resume the Masquerade. We have a spot or two open in the group. Would anyone happen to be interested? We play on Monday nights, 6pm Eastern. We communicate through VOIP on Teamspeak (private server, paid for by one of our players) and play on Maptool virtually networked through Hamachi. We're a socially-progressive-leaning group overall, but we've got our share of socially-awkward-bordering-on-inappropriate word-vomit on occasion. Drop me a line here, or in City of Heroes at @VileTerror if you'd like to learn more or attempt to join us. Thanks!
