Hypothetical Scenario If the Deal Succeeds
HelenCarnate replied to Abraxus's topic in General Discussion
True. All are currently running on donations and their own funds. I would love to see a company with experience and deeper pockets do it right. I love the power combos in Valiance but I am not sure that one will make it. -
Hypothetical Scenario If the Deal Succeeds

https://cityoftitans.com/ https://www.shipofheroes.com/ https://valiance.shogn.net/ http://www.heroes-and-villains.com/phpb/home.php There are a few someones out there. The first 2 seem to be the most likely to actually be released the 2nd 2 may take a while. -
Sovera is right about the endurance. I have a Fire/Atomic with about 4 endurance per second recovery, plus 3+endurance procs and at 113.6 endurance and I start to run out in long fights unless there are team buffs. You are at 3 per second and only 1 +end proc so you will likely run dry faster. Short fights you will be fine but long fights without team buffs to recovery could leave you sucking wind eventually. The good news is you have 3 slots in hasten and you only need 2 for perma hasten so that gives room to at least throw in Panacea. They are also correct about MA and CC. You will still get mezzed (which will drop your beta decay toggle) it will just not last as long. This is the route I took on mine. According to the in game text on the the power. Hitting enemies with Stalker primary damaging powers, other than Assassin's Strike, can grant you a stack of Assassin's Focus. Each stack lasts for 10 seconds and will increase Assassin's Strike's critical hit chance by 33.3% when you're not hidden. Just trying a stalker for a change and seeing 3 stacks quite often with just the first 2 attack powers so seems to be pretty easy to get but not sure of the exact percentage chance.
-
If you are leveling through normal content I wouldn't skip the tier 1 but would respec out of it once you get higher level and can still have an attack chain without it. Now skipping everything that is not a blade power could gimp you a bit as that only gives you 3 attacks which would lead to a lot of standing around waiting even with high recharge.

Snipes, is it worth slotting +to hit for damage?
HelenCarnate replied to myyth's topic in General Discussion
I just have tactics 1 slotted and kismet. Still plenty of extra damage and there is room in my build so I don't have to sacrifice another power. If you can get 22% great but no need to chase that magic number anymore. -
Yea, I feel the same way on my /Atomic blaster. Atom Smasher has the same requirement and works when I hover as low as possible, but one little bump up and nothing. But she is a demon with wings so not like I can just drop the wings and take combat jumping and redo the costume. That is just crazy talk.
-
Or how about Rad/Plant/Fire? Up to 2 single target and 2 AoE holds, 2 debuffs that cover def, regen, to hit, resist and damage, and extra control w/ KB to KD in Bonfire, plenty of melee range attacks as well as ranged. Blapolluptor?

Make enemies brave, less runners please!
HelenCarnate replied to Warlawk's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Yeah but it sits unused. When other mobs run I just shoot them, they die and I move on. May have to put my imob on my tray for when I feel like soloing TFs. -

On my blaster when solo, AVs run at near full health and I am constantly chasing them down to used my high damage melee attacks. -

HelenCarnate replied to Leandro's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
You do the same damge with instasnipe as you did before the patch. You now do more damage if you use snipe as an opener. Please explain how this is a nerf. -
issue 26 Patch Notes for August 27th, 2019
HelenCarnate replied to Leandro's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
And you still have instasnipe at the same damage as before and others without 22% to hit can also instasnipe but will do less damage. And instasnipe was never on the live game and was only added after the game was brought back from the dead. -

It sounds like it wasn't rooting during the 62-100 frames as it should have been and now it's fixed to match other snipes -

I went solo from 1 but you can really start to crank up the difficulty once you get burn.

Team teleport or assemble the team? The powers work very differently. -
Farm fresh builds! *Farming focused builds and tips*
HelenCarnate replied to Warlawk's topic in Guides
I started out getting the powers with only a few slots or ones with cheep sets first and left the attacks for last. The first sets I got was everything that got my Fire defense to 40ish. At that point is when I started using the macro to change everything into reds and use them to stay at or near the damage cap for longer. That made farming the rest much faster. I saved the purples for last and only had to buy a couple as I was able to fill out most of the sets with making drops and converting them to something I can use. Yes it took a long time to get there but I can clear the lvl 53 Comic Con farm in around 4 min for around 10 million plus drops. Sometime under 4 min when everything lines up right and the pathers seem to all cross the same spot at the right time. -
I just threw it in there as kind of a panic button if she gets swarmed. Really just needed a filler for a power slot and that seemed like a good thing for someone learning the game to have. Super speed would work or Afterburner if she is a flyer if you want to replace it. If she wants to stay on the ground Combat Jumping has the same numbers as hover so you can easily swap those out and get the same numbers. Frozen armor will give you decent S/L defense as well but no additional Energy defense and instead gives fire/cold resist which is why I went Mace. Downside is you have to do the patron arc. With Mace and only taking that one power (that doesn't require wielding the mace) it shouldn't take away from the theme too much I would hope. Made some tweaks based on other feedback and sacrificed a little S/L/E defense (still past soft cap) in exchange for a little more F/C defense to get it to the cap as well and added a little more recharge. If she would rather stay on the ground with combat jumping then swap out afterburner for Vengeance. I took your wanting a viable build as one that is more sturdy so she can continue to play and it won't be that big of a deal if she wanders off on her own. No perma hasten but you can get close if you go Agility and that will give her even more defense to work with in case of debuffs. Also the Force Feedback in Water Burst will help with that as well. At the defense soft cap to everything but Negative and Psi and 1 small luck gets you past the cap for those. Not optimal as far as damage rotation goes but still should be plenty of fun and very durable. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 2.22 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 4 is good for most content but you will still get knocked down from time to time. 8 points does help a little more but most of the stuff has kb of less than 4 or more than 8 with not much in the middle. The 4 points is the easiest as you can simply put in the universal travel IO in your main travel power. After that it will cost you slots. Steadfast protection has one and I forget the name but one of the lower level defense sets has one as well. Some pvp sets also have kb protection as well. The last option is acrobatics but that is another toggle on an already toggle heavy set.
-
Tons of options there so would need a more specific list of wants. I mean pick the attacks you like, throw in som SOs and you have a build that fits what you are asking. Or you can post a build with the attacks you like and others can see where improvements can be made.
-
Blappers are a thing but they tend to eat the floor until they can get some defense with IO sets. Atomic is a good secondary for being in melee range as it gets a recharge bonus that increases with more mobs in melee range. Also a pbaoe hold and some decent albeit slow melee aoe and single target attacks.

1+ with a work around using base teleporters to Echo Galaxy, but you can't use the portal or crystal until 14+
