  4. AR is pumpin numbers right now. Pair it with a set that has Build up and it destroys. The problem is sets and ATs that have no native access to BU/Aim. It is notably slower to kill things when you don't have it. So while the overall set is good, you're still going to do pretty good damage but you're not gunna kill as fast as an AR/Elec for example.
  5. It's so good that it makes great single target filler because it does good damage and it has a 1s cast time.
  6. Ice Blast with procs. Fire if you don't proc out Ice. Everything else is a tier or more(hi dual pistols) below.
  7. It's 75%. Also the choice between WP and Invuln depends on how much extra effort you plan to put into building it up. WP is ez mode but it only really shines vs a big group for RttC to do its thing. Even then it's still good. Invuln takes a bit more work but you cap max hp with 0 effort and you can do some cheese with Invincibility and the gaussian's chance for build up proc. Since it'll have a chance to go off per target effected. Because of that I'd say go invuln, because scrapper, and scrappers love damage. Personally I'd go neither and go energy aura tho. Flashy and Pretty. The lesser known but still amazing cousin to the Strong and Pretty WM/EnA brute.

With 4 powers that inherently have a medium to high chance to knock back, with one that you want overwhelming force kb to kd in anyway(grenade) I can't wrap my head around the value of taking a power specifically for a kd proc when it does basically no damage anyway. Can't even make a case for proccing it because ranged damage sets have 2 dmg procs, one of which you really don't want to waste on a power like Beanbag. Ignite might have niche uses such as on immobile things but it's small and causes foes fear so they'll try and run away from it asap anyway. Plus for TA, flamethrower is now way better so you got that to ignite OSA. I would say add it as an added effect to flamethrower but making things run around like crazy is still not ideal. Also what makes Ignite unique? It's a taoe rain power with a much smaller radius than any other powers of its type. It does more damage, sure, but again it's so small and you'd do a lot more damage more quickly if you just use your other attacks instead of trying to keep things in it.
  9. Beanbag is atrocious. Ignite is atrocious. I understand doing a major change and removing a power in favor of another is a huge change. It's hard to keep people happy with something like this. However I don't think removing more potential damage for a set that's supposed to do damage for a very minor CC is a good move. It's also very thematic for a weapon you should be aiming with to have a power that is called Aim. Reworking Ignite into Incenerator is a cool idea, and I can see having it stun. It might justify taking it despite it not doing the best damage, especially for ATs that only have their primary and epics to rely on for damage. And personally, I don't think it needs it at all considering you can juggle a boss with Slug, Snipe, M60 Grenade and Buckshot already. That or just outright kill it.
  10. Envenom and Weaken are small but hit in an aoe. So you should jump in, poison trap, debuff the boss and nuke. The -tohit from weaken and venemous gas will likely help you stay alive as the boss swings at you and everything else dies screaming from massive nuke damage. Then ST the boss down at your leisure.
  11. You could. Or become a true galaxybrain and take Bonfire. Mobs can't get to you if they're juggled around.
  12. If you want pure range then you want any primary that has most of its good powers as ranged and tactical arrow. I main Beam/TA and not only does Beam have a 3 button rotation but TA has all utility picks. One of them, Glue arrow, is very good and helps keep enemies at range. So if you're looking for the best ranged blaster then Beam/TA is one of the combos that is your best bet. There's also ice but you will have to figure out how to set Oil Slick Arrow on fire. Water can be a decent pick but your single target damage will be lacking. I guess there's Assault Rifle but... It's assault rifle. So I wouldn't recommend it. As mentioned you can make Devices, Energy and Temporal work.
  13. both cutting beam is or 2nd AoE option in beam so that alone is why you should take it. gun drone is essentially free dps while it also has a massive 80% resist stat. 90% if u take expedient reinforcements. it also taunts whatever it shoots so if it tags a boss it can tank it until it explodes.

  16. when you get your ATOs put Defiant Barrage in Disintegrate. u gotta use it so much itll proc a lot. until then, carry breakfrees and team with tanks. also the p2w vendor has a defense booster that gives status protection for scaling inf costs. worth it for an hour of not being stunned as easy. beam/traps would be better for solo but kill times are pretty low compared to blasters.
  17. i wouldnt play martial combat without a set with aim. its replacement is less attractive but its still doable. its sustain toggle is an absorb one tho so it will feel noticeably squishier if u dont kill things fast enough.
  18. it will suck to not have them but its not gunna make it impossible to play, especially since the BU replacement in ninja lets u crit.
  19. try ur best not to look at a set and go 'well fire tho...' because then u will never pick anything else.
  20. So I've seen people mention the term 'Blapping' a lot. Didn't really pay attention to it much, and honestly there's no reason to. But I'm gunna make a poll anyway because I'm curious.
  21. dark/fire would be ok. AoE is dark's weak point and fire manip plugs that hole. just be mindful ur gunna have to be close so it's not like its gunna be a pure ranged affair. but if ur not jumping into a mob and blowing ur load and leaving behind piles of bodies, r u really playing a blaster?
  22. Mids is no longer letting me place slots in powers. I didn't update or anything, nor did I change any files. I went to load a build and I can remove but not place slots. Tried to update to no avail. Any word on this?
  23. Inferno does way more damage. But that's all it does.
