Yeeaahh maybe I should have used the train wreck gif instead. @ScarySai Look buddy. There are no prerequisites to providing feedback. Sure you could have stated a preference, or proposed that feedback without test might be discounted. The whole premise of your 'PSA' is highly subjective. There are plenty of folks who could provide some feedback just based on experience or simply based on the numbers presented. I'm not saying you are completely wrong but it is sad to see anyone be such a butt hole about it. It is also disappointing to see so many folks trying to bully people for having a different opinion or not understanding some aspect of the game as well those who participated in closed beta. Even folks that did try things on beta were badgered if they dare voice a different opinion or question anything. With the number of posts deleted and threads locked,.. there's plenty of irony in this one persisting.

Beta bugs is a good idea. If small items are getting removed from the related focused feedback topic, they'd likely get removed from the beta general discussion per the note below.

Oh stop. lol How about you go do the work and then bring it back to quibble over some tiny aspect of what was said. Changing one word from 'Only' to 'A'.. and maybe adding 'it felt'.. The statement is accurate with some opinions thrown in. Not enough reason to be busting peoples chops. "ONLY A reason that was nerfed was due to PvP and Stalkers running around 2 shotting people in PvP....what really pissed me off is that the Devs said they would not nerf anything due to PvP but then it felt turned right around and did it anyway, after feeding us lame excuse after lame excuse that dodged the real reasons they were nerfing crap. Anyone with half a brain could see right through them." Can we go back to being excited for EM Scrappers and getting back a little bit of the former EM glory with some new toys. July 9, 2008 We knew this one would be controversial. There's a new patch hitting the CoX live servers today.. The changes that have most players up in arms are the nerf to the stun dealt by Total Focus and an animation change to Energy Transfer, changes that hit the Tank, Brute and Stalker classes. The new animation, while more visually impressive than the old, is slower; an Energy Transfer used to take one second, and now takes 2.67 seconds. (For those that don't know, Energy Transfer is a damaging attack that also has a good chance to stun.) Despite the usual high levels of communication from the developers, some players are unhappy and consider this a crippling nerf; however, nobody seems to be particularly surprised that some form of nerfing has taken place. Energy Melee really was that good. It's so close to being over. Patch Notes 7.9.08

Energy Melee Changes, Oh My, oh my, oh my!! Sounds like these have been in the works for months (since spring?). It appears the goal is to add some AoE and try to preserve some of the former Energy Melee glory and give it to Scrappers. Sounds Grrrreat! If you haven't checked it out and are interested in a sneak peek, it's in open Beta. Maybe give it a spin. (feedback welcomed) What do I think? It's better than what's currently on live Homecoming. Is it the pre-Nerf version updated for today's game some had hoped for, no. It is different and some folks really like it. Folks have been writing for a long time: 'Please revisit Energy Melee.' 'Revert the Nerf.' 'Let Scrappers have EM.' Boom a weekly discussion. After 67 weeks of other discussion, finally, the precious. YAY! 'Weekly Discussion 68: Energy Melee' (mid September 2020) Wait mid September, weren't folks already testing the closed Beta changes for months. Yep, that's just unlucky timing. Actually, looking back.. it is accidentally cruel. There is appears to be a chorus of folks not involved in the testing saying one thing. Yay we're being listened to! While another group, who had been doing testing.. Wouldn't it be great if ______ . (exactly what was being tested) There's no conspiracy, it's unintentional and simply just bad timing. That said, there should be no surprises to the open beta feedback or what folks say when it does hit live. Note: There is a slew of other changes coming that are also worth checking out. Link to Issue 27 Beta Patch Notes Stay safe out there. p.s. If anyone knows how to become involved earlier the change process, feel free to post some suggestions here. (I think I've been doing it all wrong)

First, what a huge undertaking. Folks really do appreciate the effort. Second, some smaller comments relating to inconsistencies in text, function and/or details are being swept up due to the heavy moderation. Example: PvP Accolades clearly say Temporary on the description screen even though they are not. Seems minor, but this caused some confusion for at least myself (who hasn't been looking at it for months) Question: Where should smaller specific comments go if not the links below? Please use these feedback threads to discuss the changes in this build: Focused Feedback: The Graveyard Shift (Hero Story Arc, Level 20-29) Focused Feedback: The Freakish Lab of Dr. Vahzilok (Villain Story Arc, Level 30-39) Focused Feedback: Asymmetrical Shoulders Focused Feedback: Stance Selection Focused Feedback: Power Customisation Update Focused Feedback: Sonic Manipulation Focused Feedback: Energy Melee Revamp Focused Feedback: Energy Melee for Scrappers Focused Feedback: Titan Weapons Revamp Focused Feedback: Trick Arrow Revamp Focused Feedback: Teleportation Pool Revamp Focused Feedback: Blaster Secondary Revamp Focused Feedback: Other Powers Changes Focused Feedback: Travel Updates: Base Teleportation, Long Range Teleporter Accolade, Special TP Powers Focused Feedback: Enhancements Focused Feedback: Badges Focused Feedback: PvP Updates Focused Feedback: Enhanced Gamepad Support, /interact and other /commands Focused Feedback: Map Changes General Feedback: Issue 27, Page 1 Please note that Focused Feedback threads are heavily moderated to ensure they remain on topic. Focused Feedback: Blaster Secondary Revamp

I and others totally get that there is an active group that are participating in regular arena PvP and the perspective they have on what works for them. There are some good ideas that can come from that. To be honest, the current approach does come off as "this is what we like and we want to do it in zones". (maybe more than intended..) It could be more inclusive of folks who aren't regulars but who are interested. Simple things could provide a more inclusive approach: New options are coming to Arena, come try em out. We're gonna try these change in one zone, come try em out. etc. Comment: If folks are seeing more names in this thread than they see in game, that's a good thing. I like: Pocket D An entrance to Recluse's Victory has been added Free Fire Zone (PvP) Helicopter Line PvP zones are now connected New Arena Maps Arena Maps Powers Disabled in PvP All Incarnate powers apart from the Alpha slot are now disabled in Recluse's Victory I don't like: PvP Accolades All PvP Zones (Bloody Bay, Siren's Call, Warburg, Recluse's Victory) The Siren's Call vendor still requires the zone event to unlock PvP Powers Changes As a whole there is a tinge of overreach in the PvP zone changes, in Arena things could be optional where this will not always be the case in zones.

Focused Feedback: Teleportation Pool Revamp
Troo replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Having Pocket D in the LRT: means changing alignment and then wanting to use LRT to get to a zone is a no go or 10 min wait. Am I missing something? -
Siren's Call inaccessible from Sharkhead. Is this as intended? Same with BB & RV. Update: Was a vigilante.. so that's on me, BUT QoL could have a message indicating why entry is denied. Also, the other PvE zones could still be accessible.

While that may be true, it is not in the notes and is a significant change. There is nothing here to refute or argue with. -
Focused Feedback: Blaster Secondary Revamp

In my opinion, we are seeing too many powersets getting more than just adjustments. Are re-imagined power sets necessary? Do all AT power sets have to be the same? Below TA has adjustments and functionality changes that have an unnecessary impact on play style. Why not just make a new blappier power set similar to TA? FYI - Darkness has two 80 eighty footers and a 70 footer. (one is being changed) Tactical Arrow Meanwhile Darkness notes have errors. Darkness Manipulation Penumbral Grasp Range increased from 50ft to 60ft to be in line with other Blaster Manipulation T1 Immobilize powers Penumbral Grasp Penumbral Grasp live is 80 feet. The change is a nerf from 80 feet to 60 feet not an increase. Touch of the Beyond Touch of the Beyond had it's Accuracy significantly reduced Darkness Manipulation Live vs Beta -
@Jimmy That totally makes sense for RV and level 50 Arena. It just doesn't make the same sense for the other zones. Why make the changes to the other zones at all then? (rhetorical)

Thanks @Bionic_Flea I think the temp stealth is going to be at the vendor, yes? It would be crazy for it to be stackable. I think I'm struggling with folks skipping the game, farming to 50, spending mega funds on max builds and then rolling into lower level PvP zones. I have no problem with max builds playing max builds in RV. I just haven't seen much on how these changes scale down with consideration to lower level characters. Level 15-25, 20-30, and 30-38. The changes in the OP appear very slanted toward one specific group at one specific level. ..and folks wonder why more people don't participate. It's a broken top down model. Every advantage goes to the richer higher level character.
-
@Faultline I get it, if someone is just thinking of level 50s. However, this is level 25 and level 30. There is zone content throughout the game that can be out leveled, why would the zone content be different for the zones where PvP is enabled? No one is saying higher level characters can't participate in zone mini games. What mini game are 50s locked out of on the live version?
