Have restarted Launcher. Have rebooted PC. Can log a different Character on same account in and no issues. He ( Sonny Burns ) was soloing Posi 2 Taskforce when disconnected. Reunion Server for Characters that can and can't log in.

Was doing Posi 2 last night and was at the end fighting Vaz and he jumped off the bridge, I followed. Bad Idea. landed in the middle of a Mob. Was so frustrated I just walked away. Got up this morning and went to Hospital, gathered some goodies and headed back to Mission when I got mapserved, I never get mapserved, and disconnected. Now when I log in, it says I am still logging out and kicks me?????????

I have seen a few people I used to play with but not most of the ones I knew well. Used the Wayback Machine ( Web Archive ) to find and link to the Top Credibility Page from the GameAmp City of Heroes site. Lots of names I know there. We had a Supergroup on Triumph whose members are on the staff and members list on the page ( including me, ( marinex ) and my brother, Delphon, as well as fellow Ohioans Nasali and Deadman54 from Sandusky. Well, they are Demons after all.... The Demons have a more complex graphics set than most of the other pets. Have you checked Memory and CPU activity compared to other sets? Anything you can do to free up Memory can't hurt. One thing a lot of people miss is that anything on your desktop that is not a shortcut ( other than recycle bin for instance ) are sitting in your active memory. if they can be moved to the main drive, then create a shortcut to them, it may help free some memory up, just a thought. PS ( Allocating some additional Virtual Memory may not be a bad idea as well )

You might look at Curser options in the menu, perhaps if you enlarge it, it will become visible again.

Wow, looks like a Christmas Light Display..... Are you using a wireless connection? If so, try using a wired connection and see if it improves your connection, it should. Wireless are great for convenience but are never running at your full potential speed, and multiple things can effect their stability. Latency is the real killer here as things have to happen at real time. Keep us posted.

I usually stay around my actual height ( 6' 4" ) just so the view I have of the world matches what I would see if I was actually there. I have a few smaller toons here and there, but no taller ones, I never really enjoyed being tall, probably because my Dad was 5' 6" and I thought the world of him. ( He was born in 1918 and has been gone for many years now ). The height really doesn't seem to effect any aspect of game play as far as I can tell including Enemies spotting you, except maybe in PVP.

While the Shadow Shard is definitely not a favorite of many players it has a lot of potential for incarnate level missions: 1) the Rularuu Watchers can make you swear you left your Defense at Home ( you might as well have ) but there are some hard hitters in their ranks and would be challenging at 50+++. 2) There is a lot mentioned about the Aspects of Rularuu in the Wiki, but several of them and several locations mentioned never made it into the game including: Aspects Chularn the Slave Lord Kuularth the Scavenger Aloore the Watcher Uuralur the Mirror Locations The Repository The Factory Cubes Garden of Mirrors Also, Not to mention it too many times, but it would be nice to have something to do in Kallisti Wharf other than Costume Contests, although those are appreciated.

Then there is the Secret Torture Room, but if it's a Secret, how come everyone knows about it.....

If it helps , in options , you can increase UI Scale, Text Size, and even the size of the Mouse Pointer.

I remember a long time ago, on the Paragon Chat boards, the Question was asked. " If City of Heroes came back, but it was at Issue 0, would you play?" I said yes, a sizable number of people said no. Expectations can change everything. I take what I get and try to remember how long I waited to get anything at all.

My Radiation Melee / Fiery Armor Brute Farmer on my @Marine X2 account, Sonny Burns, has always been good for +2 x 8 to +3 X 8 mobs in the $ComicCon Outdoor Fire Farm, but was going to have to do some work to get to +4 X 8 that would make him not so good for outside AE. Well I found the perfect solution. Team him with my main Marine X. Marine ( Invulnerable / Super Strength Vet level 81 ) has the Leadership powers Maneuvers and Tactics which I didn't take on Sonny, a mean Foot stomp, and is all but indestructible with his Incarnates fully loaded. Nothing to worry about there Logged him in and put Foot stomp on Auto and set him to follow Sonny. It worked great at +4 X 8 and was a lot of fun watching the Mayhem. Was a nice change that really made for a better farming experience. Anyone have any similar practices to make farming more fun?

Just wondering if there is a plan for a March 2021 Update?, it would be interesting to see how things have evolved over time. I realize it is a lot of work but it was really eye opening to see the combos that had almost no representation. Great reverse approach to fuel our Alt-itis, lol.

I do the same, the two additional Procs I use are Obliteration: Chance for Smashing Damage and Eradication: Chance for Energy Damage, affordable and easy to find.

I think I may get what the OP was going for.....maybe. When you Respec, you pick all your powers first, then assign the slots to the powers as you wish, rather than having to go level by level thru the build like you do with the Test Insta-50. It would be nice to have it as button, then assign things like a respec. It really does go much faster and allows you to build a more accurate 50 because you can slot things heavier early than you could if leveling the Character, which is one of the benefits of a respec anyway. On test that would be a great idea, but the idea of putting this on the Active Servers, I'm with @Hyperstrike, Hard Pass.

Since you can get to the login screen, try logging onto Reunion, create a toon there and try it out. There have been many who have had issues with the internet path that gets them to the US Servers in Canada, and it may be something between You and there. Reunion is in Germany so it uses a different path. Another thing is if you are on WiFi try a wired connection, CoH runs in real time so lost packets can be a killer. If you get on you can check for Latency using /Net_Graph 1, if you want a larger view use /Net_Graph 2, /Net_Graph 0 turns it off. Let us know what you find.

I wonder if it could be done as a Temporary Costume Power, like from Halloween, that you don't actually ride on, it is just a skin that uses your existing current costume ( like in that Praetoria mission where they show a giant statue of Your Character at the end ) and merge it with the biker's Bike animation from the Mastermind set, and it just moves with you like you were walking or running, probably way to much of a ton of work, I know, but I want a Harley.

Yeah, The Croatoa War is an Open World Event in a Level 25-34 Zone. Since it isn't a Giant Monster it won't scale to level 50 Players. You could join a 25-34 Team to do the event and then you may find it more challenging.... or go looking for Eochai or Jack in Irons, they love visitors.

I was not aware it had been run, I have seen the Rikti and Nemesis Invasions several times, but not the Rularru. Must have Missed it. The summer blockbuster is fine but I would think something more like the other seasonal events would be nice.

I was thinking the other day of all the in game special events we have to break up the monotony. It then occurred to me how little love summer gets. We have the Winter Event in December/January, the Valentine Event in February, then in the fall we have both the Halloween Event and the Zombie Apocalypse, there are Rikti and Nemesis Invasions kind of here and there in between other events. Summer really needs something to define it other than being able to run the Summer Blockbuster. Well, Today I was bored at work, ( doesn't happen often ), and did a little Homecoming Wiki surfing to fill some time and opened the Special Events Page. Among all the ones we all know, and all the Anniversary Events, Launch events, and Cuppathon was something I totally forgot about. The 2004 Rularuu Invasion. Is this still in there somewhere? I barely remember it, but it was a lot like the Rikti Invasion if I recall. Could this be used to give us a Bonafide Summer Random Event? I think it would work, if still available, What do you guys think? Do you remember any details about it?

Not sure why you believe that it is unattainable, but I see Mother Ship Raids being set up every weekend, once the shield is down the badge is there for the taking. I have participated in both the traditional and instanced versions and was able to get it either way, and the instanced had much less lag.

Just was trying to make the point that by level 50, you have had many opportunities to choose powers. Among these are the pool travel powers, boxing, stealth, etc. I think we are already overpowered from a " Comic Book " standpoint. Most Heroes do not have the level of power that we can have with almost any AT. Look at say Daredevil, he will never be the lead guy to take out Galactus. He's for the most part just a very skilled acrobat with an altered perception of the world. That type of character is not practical here, and there are probably more characters like him in comics than there are Superman types. I really like building effective and powerful characters myself, I just don't think we need any more freebies, if that's what happens, fine, but I just don't think it is needed.

I just honestly think we are starting to get further and further from what a "Comic Book Super Hero" world would be like. No one wants to be the side kick, or Junior Team member. No one wants to be Spiderman or Hawkeye or Black Widow, they want to stand toe to toe with an Arch Villain or Giant Monster and duke it out. Some of the Archetypes are intended to be support, it's in the description when you choose them, they should not be God Killers. Adding more opportunity for Power Creep just isn't really helping anyone, and getting a travel power is not that much of a burden. I have several Tanks/Brutes that use Jet Packs for travel, it just seems to fit the Character better than anything else, but I still take a travel pool power.

Although not many players enter the Echo Zones regularly, especially now that you can't do it from your base, they serve a useful function, Beyond just feeding Nostalgia..... Echo: Faultline- Best place in the game to work on Gearsmasher Badge, 15-25 Clockwork Princes are plentiful to spawn the gears when defeated. Badges and History Plaques. Echo: Dark Astoria- Large populations of 21-29 Tsoo, CoT and Banished Pantheon, need those BP Spirits for the badge?, only good place to hunt them. Badges and History Plaques, and Adamastor Summoning. Echo: Atlas- Great place to avoid lag and do low level street hunts. Badges and History Plaques. Echo: Galaxy City- Beyond Badges and History Plaques, there is a slightly larger population of Infected here if you skipped defeating 100 in the tutorial and want the Isolator badge, although I think you can run Outbreak in Ouroboros. I like having them around, beyond the nostalgia, just for someplace off the beaten path to wander around.
