During the Mission, " Scavenge for Supplies in Eltentown " from Vickers in First Ward, one Lt. was a Male in a Trenchcoat named " The Lioness " and another Lt. was a woman in tight leather named " Nasty Jacob ", oops.

I'm at 19 with XP off and was assigned the " Meet with Crow " mission by Calvin Scott. Went to the Resistance Hub and there was a red arrow pointing at the floor at the top of the ramp but no Crow. Tried exiting and re-entering, even logged and reselected the mission. No Luck, finally just completed mission, but then Calvin Scott had nothing more for me. Did I mess something up or what? -
Atlas Park's next stop is Talos Island?!
Marine X replied to Ender Shadowborne's topic in Bug Reports
I think the next destination displayed is based on the last player to access the system, I will have to test this, but I think when you select your destination it will be displayed on the sign. It used to do that when they were separate, and since all stations are available from any Tram, it can show any one selected. I'll check it to be sure. -
I have been running an Energy Melee / Regen Brute ( Battlestrike ) through Praetoria and just hit 19 and am going to have to turn off XP to finish the Dark Watcher Arc. Forgot how good some of the Missions Goldside are, or at least unique. Have had a few ambushes that nearly got out of hand, and got put down once by something while AFK at a vendor, ???, but having a good run through this Solo, so far.

Marine X replied to Ender Shadowborne's topic in Bug Reports
They show as separate lines on the map, but you weren't supposed to notice that they never edited the map, lol, but if you click to use the Tram you'll see all possible destinations listed. Maybe the Map maker was on a permanent Holiday, who knows. It is definately better combined. You used to have to run the full length of Steel Canyon ( No Travel powers till level 14 ) to get from the Yellow Line Station to the Green Line Station. The Old breakdown was: Yellow: Atlas, Kings Row, Steel South, Skyway North. Green: Steel North, Skyway South, Talos, Indy Port, Croatoa, Founders. -

Sometime before the shutdown the original Devs combined the Yellow and Green Tram lines into one network and removed the old Hazard Zone and Level Based lockouts, leaving it up to the players to decide if going to Founder's Falls at level 2 was a good idea. Because of that change, the Tram Signage can show any destination available on the entire Tram network. -
My guess is that it may be related to the adjustments that were made to the Auction House to allow for it to work with such a small population. For instance, if you put a non-attuned Luck of the Gambler in the market, it may sell as it is, or it may sell as attuned. Rare Salvage can sell as any other piece of equally rare salvage. I think this may be contributing to the systems glitched display of pricing and transactions since things can be sold as something other than what they are. I haven't got a clue how you would fix that, other than remove the adjustments, which would be very, very bad for the community at large.

Weekly Discussion 81: The Player-Market
Marine X replied to GM ColdSpark's topic in General Discussion
I think one of the best things Homecoming has that sets it apart are the SCoRE Market enhancements. For our size community it is huge that this part of the game works at all. This suggestion is fairly simple: If you go now to a Vendor or Base AutoDoc you get X price for DO/SO enhancement drops, About what you pay for them at a contact, but the market value of the drops on the Market are strictly supply/demand based. In other words, worthless, thank goodness we have room for a ton of enhancements per character or we'd be leaking "profits" everywhere before we have time to make a special trip to sell them. I realize that there are players who like USING DO/SO Enhancements, and enjoy that the prices are low, but they are also not always available. This means they have to often pay the vendors full price for them. Would there be a way to make it so the auction house would buy & sell SOs at say Half the vendor/auto doc price? Call it the Discount House, lol. This would make it worthwhile to bother selling them at the Auction House, and bolster the supply and variety of them available for Players wanting to buy. -
Time to enforce the name holding expiration rules
Marine X replied to Kazuuk's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I believe that an account that has not logged in for over a year, should qualify to be considered inactive, but I could see pushing that to 18 months. I have had some long sessions trying to find just the right name, only to have to settle for something...unsatisfying, but I have no way to know this would change that. I feel that the name release policy should never be Automatic, but rather Names no longer reserved, that seems fair to both sides and Should not apply to 50+ Characters. When I started here, in the spring of 2019, I lost one of my "Live" 50s right out of the gate as someone had already taken "Goldfever", so I just made him "Gold Fever" and moved on, but I believe that there will eventually need to be action taken. I have confidence in the Homecoming Team to be fair in how the handle these kinds of issues. -
After 14 pages of careful reading and digesting the content of this post: Soloing presents some issues teaming does not. Teaming presents some issues that soloing does not. Acronyms are Cool. PB and Banana are quite good. I also sometimes make Toasted Crunchy PB and Cheese Sandwiches. I Prefer steaks Medium so that I don't have to fight to keep it from escaping mid-meal. Crab is good. Apple Pie with Ice Cream. Baked Apples with Bacon and Cheddar, very special.

back after a long time! lf help and people to play with(?)
Marine X replied to ashzilla666's topic in Help & Support
Welcome back @Marine X and @Marine X2 ( Mostly on Reunion and Everlasting, Virtue in the Old Days ) -
There is a curser scale adjustment option in the settings which will allow you to enlarge it. There are also some mods available for high visibility pointers. Those high visibility cursors linked above are great. There is also a slider under Options > Window to let you enlarge the cursor up to 200%, which makes it easier to see.

When this happens in most cases it is because you installed the game to a folder that windows controls say Downloads or Program Files, then when windows installs an update it creates issues. Move your entire game folder to a folder on your C drive, and create a new Shortcut on your desktop. You can also look through the install guide if that doesn't work

With COH offline go to the folder where Homecoming is installed. Inside that folder you will see a folder with your Log In Username or names if you have more than 1 account, open that folder and click on playerslot, it should automatically open the data with I believe Notepad if using windows. Check the list there, if not there delete playerslot and connect to the game and it will recreate the folder for you, then check for your missing Character.

If you have to react with hostility, that's fine. Insulting me is fine too, I have no way to know who you are, or if anything you say is real. It doesn't matter to me, I'm good. I didn't play games in my teens and 20's, I started playing when I was 40 to replace things I could no longer participate in. I play COH for the enjoyment of the game, I enjoy it even more as I succeed at things, real or not, That is kind of why most people play a game isn't it ? Whether it be Chess or Softball, success still feels good. -

I guess I am of 2 Minds on this after having read through all the Posts. I enjoyed it when, through hard work, I achieved something, and was rewarded. I would often switch my Badge Title to show off my new Shiny or wear the Costume Piece for a while. It gave me the feeling that I had accomplished something Meaningful. I like Homecoming, but it does seem like a lot of people have forgot about how that felt and what it meant to them. It is not the same when you get a Participation Trophy. Homecoming is the version of the game we have. A portion of the Community never played the original game and would not want to have to deal with the way the game originally worked. Others are simply happy with the current situation. I am content with the new normal, I can always find a way to challenge myself, even if there is nothing to commemorate it. I still have Badges to get, can raise the difficulty if I choose, and plenty of things to do.
