I would suddenly realize what a strange place Paragon City truly is. 1) No Children ( Except Baby New Year, who has a face even a Mother would be challenged to Love ) 2) No Playgrounds ( see item 1 ), no Airport, no Car Dealerships, & no Dogs or Cats. Of course 1000s of Rikti Monkeys are looking for a Family to adopt them. 3) You can take on Powerful Adversaries, then get stuck on a Bush, Potted Plant or a Chair, and have to jump around like a crazy person to free yourself. 4} Vehicles drive aimlessly up and down the streets with no drivers, and no apparent destination, and constantly blow thru Red Lights and Stop Signs. 5) All Elevators only go up or down 1 floor, but stairs can span 3 or more floors, my best guess is it would take about a day to get to the top floor of a Skyscraper. 6) Contacts can give and take mission items over the Phone, nice feature, " I would like 1 large Detroit Style Pepperoni Pizza Please ". 7) Valuable items are never in a Safe or Safety Deposit Box Room but are instead in a Hallway behind a Potted Plant or stashed under the stairs. 8) Sex Changes are Available at Icon with no Appointment and take only a few minutes, wow, now that's service. 9) Pedestrians will walk from 200' away square into you and push you out of their way, but won't reliably follow you out of a cave you rescued them from. 10) ALL Restroom Doors in the ENTIRE CITY are locked, which is going to become an issue in about an Hour or so........( where's that potted plant when you need it ). 11) Hey, wait a second....AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I have no Fingers, AAAAAAHHHH!!!! just a thumb and a flipper AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

That was where we started this thread. It was a honest question, not a challenge to anyone in particular. He asked how to report what he felt were Offensive Characters. When the game was in it's original incarnation this sort of thing got sorted out without a lot of player involvement because the Paid staff was such that they were actively looking at such things. If there was a violation of the game's policy, and remember it was rated TEEN, they really didn't spend a lot of time fretting about what to do, they acted. We are not in that situation anymore. We expect a lot out of a small staff that has a lot better things to do with their time than remind people that they aren't 12 anymore. To my estimation the majority of the Original Players from Live were between 12 and 25 during the early years, that makes them now between 28 and 41, at least. They should know better. I started in 2004 at 40, and am now 57, and am not above an Occasional Off color Joke, but if called out on it, I probably knew better, I just needed reminded. We are a VERY self Policed Community, and need to keep it where people can bring there kids here and not be nervous about them seeing something inappropriate.

Invulnerability does seem to have the distinction of being the Primary Set for an AT where virtually No one actually uses the T9 power, unless it's as a Proc Mule. Just seems unnecessarily risky to use, and I very seldom use it, mostly because I don't need to, which is a testament to how good the set is without it. It seems like a relic from the early game where it may have been useful.

That was it, the Modder was updating itself to the tequila directory, did a fresh install of Modder to HC Launcher directory and now it's working, thanks.

CoH Modder shows the version as V10, and it shows the details of the update as including the Abandoned Sewers, but I still see the same map and the old badge location when I log into the game. Where is the entrance to Dr V's lab anyway? Found it in the Linked post and got the Badge, weird that I have the current version but it's still showing the old texture.

Have went to he Underground where badge is marked by Vidiot Maps but no badge marker or Badge awarded. The Wiki says it is actually on a raised platform at the back of Dr. Vaz's Lab, not where Vidiot's shows it at, and shows Coordinates -576, -576, -1536 on the zone badge overview page then -896, -890, -1018 on the Living Dark Badge page, and City Info Tracker also shows it at the first set of Coordinates, I'm confused.......

Also still around here, I actually did the whole trip, satisfying my CoX addiction with Titan Icon, Paragon Chat and now Homecoming. Was Marine X and Livingston in the GA Supergroup and Hemlok in the Villian Group. Good to see another GameAmp Alumnus.

I believe the command is "/windowclose trayX" , where X = the tray number, for trays past the standard 1-3, they begin at 4, and end at 9. So if you only have 1 extra tray you want to eliminate it would be " /windowclose tray4". Hope that helps, at work so I can't test it.

There is also a HUGE swing of difficulty going from Nightstar, or Diabolique to Reichsman, regardless if -1 or +4. Was on a team of 6 on a EM/Regen Brute as the "Tank" for the Dr Kahn Taskforce at +4 x 8. Had to be rezzed multiple times during the AV fight because I got hit with something my limited resists couldn't handle. We got him, it just took a while, which the Team Leader said was actually hard for less than a full team at that difficulty. It didn't help to have a bunch of his Friends show up: Countess Crey ( AV ) Gyrfalcon ( AV ) Nemesis ( AV ) Vanessa DeVore ( AV ) That has always been one of the hardest AV Fights I've run into because of the Reichsman's ridiculous amount of hitpoints and the AV spawns.

I pride myself on all of my characters Toughness and ability to hang in a long fight and I have many Toons that can Solo "Sally" at +4 and that's without any fancy special gear. Guess that's all that needs to be said, right, yeah. I don't actually do SOLO AV's, I could, but with me mostly playing Tanks, it would be like watching paint dry, a thick coat of paint, on a cold rainy day in March.

So that makes more sense, wondered how Reunion was affected by something at OVH Canada, the failure was in the inter-connectivity of the servers. Since they all share certain assets ( auction house, global chat, map servers ) that would be a killer for sure, STOOPID VRACK.

Does anyone have a comprehensive How to for Costume Piece Design and editing, and a list of Tools you'll need to do it? CoH Modder can load them to the Client side, but how to make the actual edits is what I'm asking. Have tried a few approaches that yielded nothing useful. When I load the initial piece it is not something visually recognizable. Just curious, thanks.

....I decided to see what Malta Sappers are really made of. I know that they are an automatic, gotta go first in a crowd of Malta but have never engaged them in a Solo fight like other NPC types. So I cleared an entire Malta Mission Map except for a Sapper and a Tactical Operative guarding the last rescue. Then used black wand and bow & arrow to take out the TO from Range. Came up to the Sapper and let him do his thing, This was with a Regen Brute, and a couple shots and he had my Endurance Gone, Toggles off, but was barely even noticeable if he was affecting Health. Gave it a full 25 Minutes, still at Full Health. The Sapper himself was struggling with Endurance Recovery and I could Recover about an 1/8 of my Endurance before he had enough Endurance to Blast me again, then he would stand there recovering again. Finally put Brawl on Auto and went and got a Cola, within a couple minutes or so, Sapper was down. I still hate those guys, but, without Some Buddies to actually kick me while I'm down, they are all FLASH, so to speak.

Have just got my EM/Regen Brute Battlestrike to level 49. Ran him through Gold 1-20, then left for a short tour in blue that related to his back story, then back for First Ward. Then more character tie in stuff then Night Ward. Then Croatoa which factors into his back story. Then onto the Devouring Earth Content ( Blue ) and Praetorian Content ( Blue ). Haven't really teamed with others much but definitely have enjoyed going through all the related content. I often felt like the missions, even though not written as a Giant Arc, became one for me. It was a long time since I had done the Missions there and enjoyed finding my own way to create a tie in to his Gold origin in non-Praetoria Missions. Almost done with Indigo/Crimson, which I see as connecting to his Law Enforcement Background. Next will probably be Number Six and then Cimerora, since it also exists apart from Primal Earth.

Well if you haven't filed a support ticket that would be a good next step. It concerns me that in your initial post you mentioned clicking the COH icon, unless you created that, it should simply be Tequila or the Homecoming Launcher. The old client from when the game was live will not work. Also the launchers from other Private servers will not work as far as I've seen. Titan Icon from the Titan Network worked as you describe, it was a self hosted single player environment with no gameplay. Paragon Chat was a multi-player non-combat Roleplay Environment that was self hosted with an XXMP Server connection to allow players to interact. Neither of these will get you on Homecoming. Have you downloaded the Homecoming Launcher? ( Preferred ) Have you downloaded Tequila? Without one of these 2, you are not going to be able to access the Homecoming Servers. Keep in mind these need to be installed in a non Windows Controlled location, Say in a Games Folder directly on your hard drive, not in Program files or on your Desktop.

Sorry but it almost sounds like you are using Paragon Chat or Titan Icon. After you create a Forum Account you need to go to "Account" at the top of this page and create a game account. Then download the Homecoming Launcher, be sure to install it to a folder directly on your main drive, not in a Windows controlled location like Program Files. The Launcher will then download the Game Client. All you should have on your desktop is the Launcher, not sure what you were logging into but you should see the 4 North American Shards and Reunion (EU). Then you can create or recreate your Characters. Good Luck.

Make sure that what you are using for the "account name" to log in matches what is in the light blue band on the game account screen, it is case sensitive.
