  1. It was a busy weekend, but I haven't abandoned this thread. Thanks for your suggestions. And next time I'm gonna pick my thread name more carefully.. From a statistical point of view I should either roll a Robot/Traps or Robot/Poison Mastermind, or a Psi/Poison or Psi/Traps Def/Cor. Yet, one suggestion stuck and after only a few minutes puzzle tiles in my head already started to match. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is. So, I present to you my next Praetorian toon. With a hopefully nice picture and a bit of background story (pardon my english) as a Thank You to those who took their time to post. I'm not a RPer, so I wouldn't have cared, but knowing that Clamor and STyLeZ will reunite in the First Ward just sweetened the deal. And yes, the toon is named 'Clamor and STyLeZ'.
  2. On second thought the frustrating answer is: any AT with access to a P2W Vendor will do.
  3. MaceBane w/ Venom Grenade, Rad/Bio Brute and DP/Plant Blaster come to mind, with Bane and Brute also being multipliers.
  4. In MIDS click Options > Configuration > Exemping & Base Values. Under Base Values set 'Base ToHit' to 48 and accept. All ToHit chances displayed now assume fighting +3s.
  5. ::: EDIT: I'm NOT looking for easy or best solutions. I'm simply looking for odd/curious/interesting/unexpected suggestions that may spark my interest. ::: I feel like running another PRAETORIAN and, for a change of pace, I'd like to hear your vote on any or all of the following: AT - Primary Set - Secondary Set - Alignment - Faction The following suggestions won't be considered because they can't start in Praetoria or I just levelled such a toon and don't feel like doing it right again: EATs, Beam Rifle, Empathy (Cont/Cor/Def), Electrical Melee (Brute/Tanker), everything Titan Weapon If there's interest I will document and comment on the levelling, since video footage currently isn't an option. Feel free to just suggest or explain why you suggest what you did.
  6. This might help: https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Attack_Mechanics
  7. Night Widow T4 Musculature Core / T4 Reactive Radial / T4 Assault Radial / T4 Ageless Core (no Judgement or Lore used) Attack chain: Follow Up - Lunge - Slash - Eviscerate Timer started with starting first attack. Ageless & Hasten cast when up, Mind Link cast before fight only. Assault started before fight. w/ Assault (passive) 2:21 2:21 2:21 2:13 2:17 2:30 2:18 2:18 2:21 2:26 = 2:20.6 sec average = 400.6 DPS w/ Assault (active) 1:49 1:48 1:55 1:49 1:53 2:12 1:54 2:15 1:48 1:52 = 1:55.5 sec average = 459.8 DPS
  8. 2 PPM uncatalyzed, 3 PPM catalyzed It used to say 4 PPM in the description, but if that was a typo or a nerf I don't remember.
  9. That exactly. And I was playing on Virtue mostly.
  10. Arc ID: 25000 Arc Name: CELLFIRE Author: @Lex Talion >> CLICK ME <<
  11. Drama, Horror and Mad Science A 5-mission adventure aiming at low level characters, turning backyard heroes into champions. The Great: CELLFIRE is designed as an alternative to DFB and DIB. The arc is completely soloable with any AT and power combo. The Catch: Compared to DFB/DIB you will work for your XP. The Great: CELLFIRE has a lot of story and fluff: customized descriptions, clues with visual aids, memorable NPCs and a contact with a moustache. The Catch: If you don't read the story you might miss the gorilla. XP work without reading though. The Great: Mission difficulty is increasing, constantly encouraging you to learn and get used to your character. The Catch: Mission difficulty is increasing, requiring you to learn and get used to your character. The Great: CELLFIRE is a target rich environment, but has no 'Defeat All' missions. The Catch: If you crave XP you may want to 'Defeat All' anyway, but nothing bad happens if you miss that odd mob in the corner. Feedback is highly appreciated, either in this thread or as forum PM. Tips: Read the story description. (No AVs, really, it's pointless.) Turn on 'NPCs Dialogue' Helpers don't proact, they react. Helpers also can't tell a player from an NPC ally. I can't help it. It takes 2 pieces of common salvage to get Mag 10 KB protection for 90 minutes from an empowerment station. Just saying. Raising difficulty by level lowers your own level during the mission instead ======== Credit: Thanks to @DoctorDitko and @Kyksie for proofreading my second-language horror. ========
  12. I used to call him Romulus Nictus, when it actually should be Romulus Nike. It all makes sense now.
  13. That's actually an excellent costume.
  14. Did it with a Huntsbane today. Unfortunately I had to do what I normally refuse to do, namely reslotting a power specifically for a TF. Being a Huntsman means being a Dot on legs and I swear AVs start running on sight already. Had to cap Electrifying Fences for Immobilize and Recharge and spam it in AV fights just to have a chance to get damaging attacks in. Anyway, here goes:
  15. Concept: Punisher-type guy Build: Huntsbane No Judgement at all, no Lore except for M4 to replace Captain Claphappy, who came, saw and dropped dead. Official time 3:57h, actual time 3:50h ( -7 minutes for hydrologic balance ) M1 ~23min (incl. Kheldian ambush) M2 ~25min (some Crystals sniped, some Crystal spawns cleared) M3 ~85min (Phalanx waves 1 and 2 cleared, wave 3 pushed through ) M4 ~97min (cleared everything near Rommie except the walls first. Captain Claphappy still was the first to drop dead and I used T3 Lore pets instead. I eventually just bumrushed the Nicti and took out Rommie last. The whole AV fight took an hour.) The AV fights would have been a lot faster if I hadn't had to spam Electrifying Fences at a 7s cycle to keep AVs from running. Dear devs: fleeing AVs are no fun.
  16. That's what 'Bug Reports' is for, so you just did 🙂
  17. Can confirm. I tested Reform Essence and the Heal portion of unslotted Essence Boost and it stays the same with or without Incandescence buff active. (Incandescence T1, outside buff)
  18. There is nothing wrong with what you wrote. Set bonuses do NOT care whether the power the set is slotted in is available or not, only proc enhancements do. Set bonuses from regular unattuned set IOs (read: crafted, and can be converted by rarity AND by category) stop working when the toon exemplars 4 levels or more below the set enhancements' level. Set bonuses from attuned versions of those IOs stop working when the toon exemplars 4 levels or more below the lowest possible recipe level of that IO. Set bonuses from PvP IOs, Purple IOs, ATOs and Event-Os (all) do not care for exemplaring at all.
  19. This seems to be your actual question, I take it. The answer would be: Exemplaring does not care for slotting order. Slots in place are slots in place and that's all it cares about.
  20. RegenDebuff% * (1 - Regen Debuff Resistance) = effective RegenDebuff 0,38% * (1 - 0,84) = 0,06 The article below explains it, incl. Debuff Resistance table. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Archvillain
  21. Fist / Sword alternatives for Ice Melee and Fiery Melee powers would make my day (preferrably across all ATs - one can dream..). Also I would LOVE to see the 'Fire and Ice Sword - Elemental' versions as additional options. Can't think of an uglier weapon in game than the current Ice Sword.
  22. With the exception of Typhoon's Edge you don't want any of the long animating powers in your attack chains, unless you're explicitely playing DB for the combo system. (Which is fine. - Like it? Play it.)
