  1. How do they seperate the scales? and what is the 45% damage buff if Nova gets scale of 1.2, it shouldnt need it? or the 45% damage buff brings it from 0.80 to equivalent of 1.20
  2. From what I can tell, both human and forms use the same damage scale so you I dont think its possible to separate human and nova damage scale. (If im wrong, could someone explain why) If Peacebringer does get a damage modifer buff from 0.85 how much should a modifer boost should it get? 1.05 should be a good number so give it a better damage scale than Tanks 0.95
  3. Problem with the idea is how to balance not just damage modifier, but max damage, hp, resistance cap, defence and resistance, status prot, resistance and debuff resistance without making it better than existing archetypes.
  4. As a triform, having more powers than slots I decided to go with powers that can support the team as well as self buffs, so resurrect (medicine), invis and tp power pools as fillers keeping my ranged damage for nova and high survivability to dwarf form.
  5. Just checked my system and cityofheroes.exe is using 15 threads and 5.75 cores.
  6. Im triform pb, lightform as human and lightform is very viable build, but requires you to be at a level to use it, dwarf enables me to be tankier at lower levels enabling me to perform both dps and to a point tanking in most of not all taskforces and group levels.
  7. Tbh, never quite liked human form pb, low damage ranged, relying on lf at 38 to tank and not quite having enough slots to fully equip what I want. Tri form gives me enough slots to tank and damage shame forms are so restricted to their forms powers and incarnates, cant even use temp powers.

I would say the PB is a lot simpler to play and easier to slot than WS, heal and endurance on PB dont need enemies unlike WS which is same about WS's equivalent of LightForm etc. The WS is more complex in terms of buffs and staying alive and has some nice looking abilties and coming from a PB my self, it sure does look interesting. So, my best advice (which is what im trying to do) is to simply play both, keep reading builds and always ask for help on the forums, theres plenty of people who are willing to give some good help and guidance.
  9. Couple of things, how will you adapt if the tank tells you not to knockback enemies when using either Dwarfs Flare and Nova Detonation? Also, you could remove the recharge IO from Inner Light and replace it with Gaussians Synchronized: Chance for Build Up, using this in tactics will not active the build up chance since its a buff not a build up power, so Inner Light is the only location this can be slotted to gain benefit.
  10. This is what I have been wanting to hear, dont expect instant results, but its nice to know possible plans for future. Could it be possible however, to fix the cosmic balance description and have Sentinels added?

  13. Will PeaceBringers and WarShades have their Dwarf form flare aoe buffed in size and their damage output buffed to match those of tanks and brutes? (Peacebringers and Warshades are still classed as tanks)
  14. So, Tanks are getting melee damage increase and max damage increase. Im interesting to see if anyone will be able to compare these buffs to the both damage cap and melee damage modifer of for Dwarf form for Peace Bringers as well as their AOE size and max hits.

Endurance and recharge can come from incarnates.
  17. Atm, the game is accessible for every class and archytype as well as those with and without ios and incarnate abilties at any level. Increasing the difficulty would mean having every archytype being balanced in terms of buffs, debufffs and damage to ensure that no one class gets left behind. I dont want to see groups hand picking who they will or will not take just because what powers you choose no longer are viable. So, as a peacebringer, will I be set aside because blasters do more damage or dwarf form cant tank as well as either tank or brute. Will brutes be passed over for tanks, will empathy be needed in every group making bubble or sonic defenders etc less desirable. If you want to make it harder, there are so many other options available to you, choose different power pools, dont use incarnates or ios.
  18. Keldians are a multi role class, jack of all trades master of none. I want my dwarf and nova to have access to abilities that human form has access to but cant always get what you want. If human form gains access to mez protection, what buffs would you give Dwarf form to compensate?

  20. Im not interesting to making khelds better but have better quality of life improvements. I cant really comment on how effective human form is vs nova and dwarf. What I would like to see is the chance for forms to feel more fluid and have improved quality of life improvements. Popping in and out of form every 30s, 90s and 120s is both annoying and can be risky. However, if each form could carry over a choice of 3 powers which can be used in the forms, this could allow the forms to more than just dps or off tank, could choose 3 based on team or solo.

True, but with IOs set bonuses and incarnates granting the human form permanent hasten, permanent light form, permanent inner light and permanent essence boost can come close if not out doing the performance of the forms. So if human form at 50 has the potential to out dps nova as well as coming exceptionally close to dwarf form in terms of resistances but keeping the high dps that human form brings, and can come with all the standard team buffs and utilities, what is the benefit of forms then?
  22. My simple issue is that forms are still very restrictive as to what abilities you have access to whilst in your forms. With incarnates and set bonuses, would giving pbs/ws access to some or every ability whilst in your forms be overpowered and why?
  23. Going to burst this build, but you cant have Soul Mastery, your limited to Stone Mastery, Fire Master, Ice Mastery, Primal Forces and Psionic Mastery.
  24. As title states, I am having problems with using glinting eye when in dwarf form. The ability is random as to when it can or cannot be used and when placed in tray, permanently faded out in a way that makes it look like it cannot be used when it can.
  25. Wouldnt mind seeing a complete change to the defenders inherent, as a FF defender, the endurance reduction is a wasted because if the team is going down, having access to more endurance isnt going to change anything.
