I've seen all PP boss spawns in Manti before, something like 3-4 bosses. I noticed it in a post p7 Manti but wasn't surprised by it.

Mission Completion rewards changed with new page.

I did say what server, I provided specifics from two different servers. -
Allow VEATs to start as banes/crabs or night widows/fortunatas

Big time "yes" to this one. -
If this is buried in the minutiae of the patch notes, then I missed it and I apologize, but the level 50 mission completion rewards are slightly lower than they were before the update. Previously completion xp and influence for completing a +4 difficulty mission was 65,000 and change. I don't remember the amount of change (the number in the hundreds) but I've seen the 65k number so many times it's etched into my memory. These numbers could adjust up due to day job bonuses but 65k was the baseline reward. Now I'm getting: You gain 62,332 experience and 62,332 influence. Not much but it's less and I don't know if that's intended. Let me head off a couple of "well what about..." counters from other posters: 1) Team size doesn't affect this bonus. Even if it did I saw the new number for +4 team size 8 2) I don't have any bonuses, day jobs or anything could possibly be affecting this. I'll also note doing a handful of autocompletion is a standard part of my day so I know for sure that 65k is the number I've been getting over the years. Now it's 62 and change. Editing to give some additional data: The mission complete bonus on Excel, with both day jobs active (Arachnos base and Police Station) was 93,497. Divide by 1.5 (the 2 day jobs are each 25% and add to 50%) and you get 62331.333 With no day job on Excel I got the aforementioned 62,332. On Indomitable, with no day job bonuses, I got 124,664. Indom has 2xp so divide by 2 to get 62,332.

Here's a suggestion that requires some inf. Whether it's "too much" inf or not is up to the individual player but the Defense Amplifier from the P2W vendor (it's still called P2W as of this moment) provides 4 points protection to everything. The cost is (Your trained level)^2 * 1,000 inf for an hour of usage. You can buy 8 hours at a time, so at level 1 that's 1,000 inf for an hour and 8,000 inf for 8 hours. At level 40 it's 1,600,000 inf per hour.

I think it's worth mentioning Power Boost, it takes Fort from 6/5 to infinity/5. That's hyperbole of course but I (not an emp pro by any means) like to take it because I can use it every other Fort. While the boost is in effect the heals will be for more as well, I just view that as gravy.

Even in that case PBs get to choose Quantum Maneuvers which may not be completely identical but functionally close enough.

This right here: is flight. You get it at level 1 available to human form. I really don't see a need to take the pool power "Fly". Welcome to the game, etc.

How much in game currency do you have on hand.
Hedgefund replied to Monty Haull's topic in General Discussion
Whatever the amount is for me, it's less at this moment in time than it was 24 hours ago before e-mail made a good chunk go "poof*. -

Marvel and DC seeing that this game reached over 4000 concurrent players: "We're SAVED!"
-
Yes this is from a content farm and reads like it, but I was amused that the article wonders if this game can "save the genre". No pressure or anything. https://www.cbr.com/franchise-fatigue-answer-city-of-heroes/

Just another data point, in my scores of banks (on big teams) I've never seen Fallen From Grace or Critical Mass as an EB. I've only ever seen Aeon as an EB.

I just found this thread and skimmed, not perused other comments. My main problem is a lack of 30-35 SF. No, Morty Kal doesn't count. I can live without a Posi analog but this 30-35 gap won't do. Ultimately I have to question if this is a problem worth solving. So many players have it ingrained "I don't want to be the bad guy" that I don't think you can overcome that, not within the context of this game. If 20% of play goes on red side, that sounds consistent with how it's been since I joined, right after CoV came out. By now you have to acknowledge "it is what it is" and throw bones to those 20% occasionally (like a lvl 30-35 sf).

I'm going to +1 this. I have a group that does scanners/banks to start out sessions and over the years on HC we've done a LOT of banks as a full team of 8 and the AV rate is disappointingly low. Nowhere close to 25% if that's supposed to be the target (and I don't know that it is). The same seems to be true in mayhems. I wish I'd kept some records, I hate using "feels like" to make a quantitative point instead of real data but that's all I've got right now.

The /powexec_location target POWER slash command makes these two equivalent. I guess the advantage of Feral Charge is you do't have to take the 10 seconds to create that bind/macro.

Mmmm, Shake Shack. That's the only thing I've taken from this thread, that I now want to pop over to Shake Shack.

The tears of the "but muh inf from provos" crowd are delicious. By the way I stand to lose a lot of FMV (got a few lvl 53s I rotate to active characters from inactive ones) from a provo crash and I'm a-ok with that.
-
Provocations will still be superior for getting the most out of fewer slots. They would (or should) still be the choice of the wealthy power gamer.

The current topic about Acc/Rch HOs in this subforum has inspired me to write up something that's been swirling around in my head for a while. We have universal travel and universal damage, so I'm suggesting something for powers that don't take any sets that still are improved with accuracy, let's refer to it as Universal Accuracy. Kinetics, for examples, has Fulcrum Shift and Siphon Power, Thermal has Heat Exhaustion. There are others but this isn't meant to be an exhaustive list. I'm proposing a 5 piece set that has these pieces and enhancement values: I'm not going to get into suggesting bonuses at this time. As far as I'm concerned they can all be "mid" bonuses like the Overwhelming Force set has. I'll gladly readdress if this suggestion gets some traction from the developers.

Let's add it up (everything slotted to ED except prot bots). Dispersion - 11.74 Ally Shield - 17.61 Prot Bots - 7.5 We're at 36.85 before doing anything clever. Let's PB up the ally shield to make them 25 resulting in a total 44.24. So, afaic, it's a question of how you prioritize PB, other buffs like Maneuvers and prot bot slotting to determine if you want the +def uniques%.

I took a random character (lvl 50) and was able to slot a Microfilament into both Swift and Hurdle. The stats for Swift enhanced both fly and run. Skeptical? Swift: Hurdle:

The main reason you should care is that Hami will not respawn if buds exist in the zone. Also there's a badge - https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Buddy_Badge

Question about location/splat-based powers
Hedgefund replied to biostem's topic in General Discussion
You can check case by case on the CoD2 site, see https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=blaster_ranged.fire_blast.rain_of_fire&at=blaster has a flag that says "boosts are copied to entity" meaning that Rain of Fire does get boosts from BU.
