Like Frozen Burn, I have a 100% success rate by entering and immediately exiting. No time spent minimum, no need to defeat anyone. This is true for the mission via Ouro, or directly from the contact. You won't see the notification that you earned it necessarily, but it will be at the top of your "most recently earned" badge list (assuming you didn't already have it, ofc). Oh when I say 100% I don't mean 10 times out of 10, I mean literally out of more than 100 times.

Well we (US) lost to India but beating Pakistan was a big deal.
-
I just retired a Stalker (after attaining all T4s) with this combo and I really really dug it. Unlike many Stalker primaries you don't lose an aoe. Shield Charge in, you're still hidden, then begin doing the Stalker things. Good fun.

Regarding PVP IOs, no, they do not attune "up" as you level. That lvl 25 Glad Javalin Acc/Dmg will give lvl 25 values forever. Related, I would strongly object to taking out attuned PVP IOs from the AH because I use them frequently while leveling.

Early in these HC days I used to plan for a 25/40/50 respec but I've simplified over the last couple of years and just have a lvl 50 target. Now, I 1) figure out what I'm going to play 2) make a final build in Mids 3) create it in game 4) head to Pocket D to begin acquiring the enhancements needed. Pocket D so I can have the added bonus of opening LRT by doing nothing at all (1 hour in PD opens it). With the exception of Pana proc and Kismet unique I use SOs until I can get meaningful IO set bonuses or IO enh values catch up to SO values (whichever comes first). I do slot L%tG 7.5s ASAP. The next meaningful milestone is at 50 when I have to decide to unslot vs respec. If I'm heavy on Winter-Os and ATOs then I'll use unslotters for what I'm substituting (and not catalyzing) but if I'm adding, say, 5 new purple sets, I'll probably just respec. There are exceptions to this whole thing, like for a new powerset I'll take all the powers while leveling and will probably end up with a different build for a lvl 50 respec after omitting powers I find less useful.

The part where I said "here's a screenshot of a fire troller" was a hint for what AT I was looking at. Here's the bottom line, you said Bonfire is slotted for +Knockback and has the Force feedback Proc (which won't affect you since it's a pseudopet) The bolded was incorrect, you later corrected it.
-
With no recharge slotted in my Bonfire it's up every 20 seconds (maybe less, I'm not in game) so yes, I did "go for it".
-
I happen to be Mids-ing a Fire/Fire blaster now and decided to skim the forums for this topic before I started in earnest. I did notice this comment about the FF proc in Bonfire. To avoid a sequence of "no it doesn't" "yes it does" exchanges here's a screenshot of a fire troller whose only action was to cast Bonfire, so yes it does work on cast. This true for for other pseudopets too, such as Tornado.

issues The Guide to Issues aka "When did they add/change that?"
Hedgefund replied to Trickshooter's topic in Guides
If you're exemping in a mission fighting even (or higher) cons tips can drop. If you're aoeing mercy or atlas mobs those don't drop tips. In the open world they need to be at least 20. This was the case on day 1 of Going Rogue when tips and alignment were introduced. -
For probably 75% of my characters only the default slot is used, Pana proc and Perf Shifter proc for health and stamina respectively. Endurance management is easy to solve via set bonuses for +rec and +MaxEnd, which tend to be given while pursuing other bonuses. There are exceptions of course, like endo hogs (looking at you Stormies) that merit additional slots for recovery. Then there are meleers that lack a heal where I'll look for more regen and the Power Transfer he%l proc.

Yes I see from Uun's explanation above how it's no longer repel the effect but repel the power within a certain radius. Thanks Uun.

Force Bomb does not need a kb%kd pr%c in it, from page 5 patch notes: The Vectored Knockdown does not scatter, it knocks mobs up who then fall back down. Make a character on test if you want to see it in action. So, personally, I would never include this as an answer to "what to skip" for the OP. AOE -res, kd mitigation, it's an important power for FF.
-
Edited to minimize notifications from meleers quoting this and saying "but I can do it". Anyway if I'm doing family at volume for HPT I turn bosses off. The same consigliere mobs spawn and summon singularity but lts are defeated significantly quicker than bosses.

Activati%n time is absolutely part of the core formula for computing %pr%c% rate. Details can be found in the first post of the thread in the link below. This link directs you to a post where Bopper answers the OP, that the activation time used is whichever applies to create the %pro% pr%bability.

Also, if you have this lvl 50 alt on another account, the lowbie can join the 50 for the Unlucky Artifact at level 30. The lowbie can't start this mission from Ouro, but they are in the band where they can join it, so no need to wait for 35. Same with the one from Timothy Raymond. Born in Battle can also be acquired early, level 30, with damage farming. I personally go with this over PJ,

It may not be cheap at level 40 (will be 1.6M inf for 1 hour) but the Defense Ampifier from P2W will basically solve mezzing issues (mag 4 protection to all) which is, from my own experience, the first step in my blasters being defeated. The task list of "what to do" should include acquiring Demonic, which has gotten me out of many a jam, whether lvl 50 tank or lowbie blaster, via a pseudo-armor t9 that's available every 9 minutes.

Just another data point. I was level 3, ran by a capsule in Atlas and clicked. 3 Rikti spawned, I punched and punched and punched and got 1 to about 85% hp. The damage they do seems scaled appropriately, I was surviving, though I certainly would going to die if I slugged it out with all 3 of them. To see if my guy was just super weak I fought an even level hellion and it went down in 3 hits, about what I'm used to with an even con minion at that level.

Regardless of "why" you may use Experienced, it's most important to use it in a way that doesn't waste any of the benefits. You can only have 10 bars of patrol xp so if you activate a charge while you have 8 bars, then 3 bars will be wasted. I make sure to have 4 bars or fewer when activating a charge.
-
Historically on HC, the anniversary has given all players that log in 5 Experienced charges (see https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Paragon_Rewards_Powers#Experienced). I don't know for sure that's what this anniversary will reward, just stating precedent. As the link says, it provides 5 bars of patrol xp. Patrol xp caps at 10 bars so you don't want to just click with no consideration for how much patrol you have accrued. Personally 4 bars is my threshold, anything more and I wouldn't use a charge. With regards to stacking, yes it stacks with other bonus xp, it's a 50% addition of base xp, so max of 3.5xp if you're on Indom and have P2W 2xp. The "how" they stack is Base xp + (bonus xp1) + (bonus xp2) +... + (bonus xpN) where N= all sources of bonus xp. Note for future reference - the mapserver mobs had their base XP increased, they did not award another chunk of bonus xp, so their reward was 20x with p2w 100% boost and 30x on Indom with the additional boost. I mention this because I've seen this misrepresented by other players saying Mapserve scale10 xp was additive as well. Edit - the Experienced boosters were awarded to characters I logged in today, so those are already being awarded, don't even need to go test to see them.

Can you have a Bane and Crab build on the same guy?
Hedgefund replied to DarknessEternal's topic in Arachnos Soldier & Widow
Yes, using build 1 and build 2. Note - your Bane will have Crab legs. There's yet a 3rd build available too at level 50. -
I get that game mechanics wise this choice had to be made, but the elevator system has been bothering me for years now, maybe the most fantastical element of this whole game. I'll buy the existence of interdimensional eyeballs over this game's elevators.

For suggestions, I always ask myself "If I were HC's CTO would I want a dev to spend time on this?" OP says they're looking to improve marginal gains but marginal gains have marginal costs and the marginal cost here is dev time, which further has an opportunity cost. Whether it's 1 hour, or 10, or 100 I don't know, but having someone spend any time on some edge case where an SO dropped at level 3 to a level 5 is not what I want them working on. And the metaphor shouldn't be 5 bucks instead of a gazillion, it's 5 bucks instead of 8. Vote: Nay

Is there really a massive proc nerf just around the corner?
Hedgefund replied to Azari's topic in General Discussion
I wince every time I see or hear "MMs were originally CoV's tanks". For an intended tank, they sure didn't get any tank tools. I've once seen a summary on some "official' source (I forgot where) that can be paraphrased as "with bodyguard mode a MM effectively has a Tanker's HP" and I'm thinking that's where this myth came from. If someone can show some link where it was more explicitly stated that MMs = tanks, I'd love to see it. -
The pro% rate for cones is unaffected by +range. The formula is right, the additional targets for pr%cs at the extended end of the cone are "free".
