  1. Apropos of nothing, my most frustrating MOG moment is on LRSF Me: Make sure to kill Valkyrie last Me: Val is taking a lot of damage, be careful Me: Val is almost dead! Me: (afk for the next 2-3 minutes)
  2. But you don't have the temp power, at least based on what you said above that the icon is displayed, but your stats are not affected by the Flames of Prometheus. Maybe there's something funky about that icon displaying but still, a 50 doesn't get a notice, outside of this sf being the WST.
  3. The best taunter (notice I didn't say tanker) satisfies these 2 conditions: 1) Has taunt 2) Has 1-3 EOEs That's it. As for how to taunt a yellow, it's ideal to be positioned outside the goo, creating a straight line that includes you, your yellow and Hami, being as far back as the range of your taunt will allow. So, to restate, the straight line starts with you, goes through your yellow then ends at Hami. Most importantly, be sure to get a hit in before he goes down so you get your goodie. I'd want to do at least 2 attacks, in case you get some 5% bad luck on the first one. I always use my ranged attack for this.
  4. If I read this correctly, you did this on one of your incarnate characters, which means, level 50. You get a, for lack of a better term, a promise of a notice when you run Morty's sf from 20-49. When you turn 50, a badge shows up (accomplishment according to the paragonwiki article on mort kal) that allows you to cash in a notice. You don't get the notice if you're 50 though.
  5. The server reset just happened, so I made it my first action to head to Sharkhead and guess who I see... It's Ghost of Scrapyard, in case you didn't get that this was a rhetorical question...
  6. I did the TV mission recently that's half Family/half Nems. It brought back some memories. Back in ye olden days, you'd say "Nemesis spawn- better be prepared" then "HAHA, Family, time to pwn!" Now the roles are reversed. That's a good thing. Anything to increase the challenge in game.
  7. Thanks Cap. It's kind of funny that the conventional wisdom that he spawns after defeating Scrapyarders is actually detrimental to getting him to appear. Just spitballing, it seems like, outside of code changes, what we can do right now is, when a strike appears, to broadcast a request that other players not bother the Scrapyarders and furthermore, defeat hostile mobs (Family, CoT, Cage guards) so the Scrapyarders can proceed unencumbered.
  8. What up with Scrappy? I know it's a perception thing that when you're anxiously awaiting something, you perceive it to take longer to come to fruition, but I've been hunting this guy down for about a week now and I haven't seen hide nor hair of him once (I don't just log in for 15 minutes a day either). By now, has anyone looked into the code to see what prompts his spawning? Legend says it's defeating Scrapyarders but that's seeming more and more of an urban legend to me. This opposed to Caleb who reliably appears after enough ghosts in Nerva are defeated. So, my suggestion here, so I'm posting in the right forum, is that something be done to increase Scrappy appearances. A summon like Adam? A consistent timer? Actually defeating Scrapyarders? I dunno, but we need more Scrappy especially since this is for an important accolade. Another note - I don't recall this being an issue on live. I did see a couple of other threads about this though, so I'm not the only one thinking this.
  9. I used this today for the first time. Outstanding! I do have a tip for users - make sure your macro button is far left on your screen and toward the top. Otherwise, when the menu expands, it sort of acts wonky. Maybe there's a better way around that, but it's simple enough to just have the button in the top left.
  10. That's for going to Cim. For Oro, it's /badge_grant ouroborosenabled
  11. Strategy games are my favorite. My time during the no COX days was mostly spent with XCOM 2 (and subsequent DLC). At the highest setting, there's a very real risk of something terrible happening (like losing a favorite soldier). Also, I've put in enough time with Civilization series to... well it's so much time I don't even want to say. Now, while they offer a challenge, like anything, eventually a player will "git gud", especially after a few hundred, or a few thousand, hours. Still, mistakes get punished.
  12. I would buy this poster at Successories. Maybe have an image of a kitten knocking things off a table to illustrate this.
  13. Just the kb2kd and an endurance redux basic IO, it's an end hog. I have to confess to overhyping for effect. It's good but I'm not literally a walking (or hovering) Earthquake like I originally said. It's some additional mitigation FFers couldn't utilize before, but if someone said it's not worth the additional endo expenditure, I'd nod my head in understanding (not necessarily agreement).
  14. OP isn't trolling, s/he is right. You basically have to manufacture your challenges here. It's very apparent to me after playing games that do present a challenge. No need to deny it, it's clearly not a deal breaker to me, I'm in it for the long haul, sometimes I just want to press 1-2-3-4 (maybe even 1-2 depending on global recharge) and rake in some loot.
  15. I'm diggin' my sonic/bio so far. I PLd to 30s so I can't speak to its lowbie game, but I'm impressed with its sturdiness. I haven't had a chance to use Parasitic Leech yet, I see what you mean about it being situational. Still I'll keep it simply because I like to have hands-on experience with a power I'm unfamiliar with.
  16. Nope. Purples and PVP IOs are the only "not attuned" IOs that exemp all the way down. Orange sets are good candidates to attune (or purchase as attuned) so you can get the bonus down to where the set begins.
  17. Purples have always behaved as if they were attuned, their bonuses have always exemped down. So it's an emphatic NO to attuning purples. Doing so has no benefit and actually has a downside - you're unable to + level them.
  18. There is no preserving minions during the pylon phase. They're going to be -5 to -7 to most enemies and outside of your supremacy buffs or any of the +def or +res buffs from IOs that require proximity. For pylons just play the role of the petless MM. Once you get to 50+1, then they'll have a better chance of surviving that phase.
  19. With the Sudden Acceleration kb2kd proc in Repulsion Field, I put my bubbler on the front lines and play the role of a 1-man Earthquake.
  20. I can dig it. Heck I'd be content with last 100 averaged offline periodically (nightly, weekly?) and used for this purpose. 5 is just too few to paint an accurate picture (that is, if those 5 numbers are accurate).
  21. I got bosses solo, just use the normal setting in your chat box.
  22. I just tested and indeed, chewing reds increases Fade's resists, so I'll buy that it's bugged.
  23. Just curious, why do you say Fade is bugged? Has a dev explicitly said so or is that just your reckoning based on precedent?
  24. There is a listing fee and a transaction fee. From https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Auction_House Listing Fee When an item is put up for auction, a fee of 5% of its listed price is charged to the seller. If you do not have enough influence/infamy to cover the fee, you will not be able to list it on the Auction House. Note that the minimum fee is 5 inf. If 5% of the list price is less than 5, you will still pay 5. If your item sells, this amount will be refunded. The amount will not be refunded if the item does not sell, or if you cancel the auction. Transaction Fee When an item sells, a transaction fee of 10% is deducted from the amount it sold for. However, the transaction fee will be reduced by the listing fee, which will be refunded since the item sold. I suppose now is the time you post an Ogre "NERD" gif, like you did twice yesterday after I posted something math-y.
  25. I wish I'd made a note of what it was specifically, but I had to purchase an ATO (Defender I think) completely blind. This time the last 5 always showed a much lower price, something in the 6 figure range. I never ever got an accurate result for last 5 sales. This is probably #1 on my "gotta fix it" list. I personally am not affected because by now I can sniff out an erroneous display but certainly others are. Though, now that I think about it, I probably am affected occasionally and just don't realize it. #IStandWithFlea While on this topic, high on my "this would be nice" list is a more extensive showing of recent sales. I know that technically, it's more data to traffic, but I think 100 sales would be a lot more representative of an item's fair market value.
