What kind of enhancements are we talking here? SOs are rarely used when dealing with level 50+ enhancements. HOs are far more popular. IOs can go above level 50 with boosters, but level 51 would be an odd one to sell or want since you can go up to level 55. And since I don't put bids on boosted level 50 IOs, they may remain listed as level 50. I honestly haven't looked. I look for attuned IOs these days so I can slot them asap and let them level as I do.

One post below this is Croax's build thread where he covers a build for every combo before Stone was released so I would take a look there to gather ideas. Basically /ea wants type based def. Stone will want recharge, and you'll want "enough" end to run it all, but /ea makes that easier. I one slot ED with a LotG +Recharge. EDIT: Get what resist you can. S/L is at 69% on my StJ/ea, most other things are in the 20s.

Fire/dark gets two ways to heal and recover end. Tohit debuffs and a Fear if that's your thing. And yeah, perma Soul Drain to which further abuses Burn.

To be fair, using Dark with it is a bit of a cheat.

The drawback is the lack of sturdy factor from the rest of the set. I'm a support player at heart, and FA is the one sets who's health bar is going to be consistently going down on teams compared to other sets. Maybe not to the point it faceplants or even faceplants a lot, but it certainly struggles more than other sets from what I can tell.

I think the only heals it could work on would be single target so the end gain would be small and I assume one would be from the pet so I'm not even sure the player would get any kick back. EDIT: Single target in that where you are pulling the heal from.

Thinking of moving the end mod slots on Energy Drain to 5 slot CJ with Kismet and get the recharge bonus. My StJ/ea hardly needs ED, so I think less slotting and missing out on the bonus will be okay. I know the def numbers are good enough as is, but the 3.75% recharge will be nice.

MA is oddly enough best on a Brute or Tank since the T2 adds def. On a Stalker, it has no AoE until you get to epics. StJ is legit top tier for a Stalker.

What is a FF/kin? As mentioned, Dark has no way to help with end so it can be more of a burden to take on. What kid of slotting are you using? Do you have any Incarnates yet? What kind of content are you going against which makes them feel squishy? There's not much reason for a Dark Defender to not be on the rather sturdy side.

While I'm glad it looks like they fixed a lot of what hurt SWG, I kind of wished KotOR Online was in a rogue state. I just couldn't do a sub back when I played it, but it was the first game where I felt like I could really get into since CoH.

The OP has openly stated they aren't willing to invest in characters enough to make the claims that they keep doing so. About the only use in replying to their threads is to boost one's own rep.

Since it is a pet, it doesn't break Hide for a Stalker. A Blaster should welcome any sort of damage mitigation. More so if they solo. It also helps that it only really needs its default slot so you can use slots elsewhere. I can possibly see an issue with Brutes and building Fury, but I don't really have any issue building Fury on any Brute I play. If you team a lot and have a number of Controllers and Doms, then sure, it will be less useful, but it is incredibly useful outside of that.

And there's nothing there that can't fairly easily be replicated here.

I'm pretty the current state of them are such regardless of the rogue servers coming out or not. The successors problem isn't really CoH. its very much everything else which is out. My biggest pull isn't another super hero game. It's simply other games.

In all honesty, we have multiple sets for smashing and lethal damage. There's no real reason why we can't sets of exotic damage types but with swords or without. Hell, you could do Sword melee and then let the user pick the damage type similar to DP. Psionic needs a rework. Insight just happens to be the starting point.

I did this for EA and Rad. In terms of video, I have been thinking about similar ideas as of late. There is so much work to be done cleaning up animations for the game. Switching from swords to not using them makes zero sense in a practical sense.

Ice is really the next best option based on what you have done. I would deem Fire to be the best overall even if its best mitigation is things being dead.

My guess is a number of people simply left. I know someone who simply did that. Hell, I essentially did a 9 month break from HC at one point after my initial comeback. Page 3's numbers are showing people coming back and that might be also due to the holiday season. It will be interesting to see how long that upswing stays. Note, the increase of people playing was vastly more directly impacted by Page 3's launch than it was for having streaming coming back.

I never played, so maybe if it played lit it, then it would be fine. I don't know. I hated the look of it though.

My main sake is a WP brute. I got to 50 on level 25 common IOs. I had no real issue with alphas. Sure, there might have been some issues if I was facing +5/+6 and the mob type, but that's about it. To say a WP tank can't take alpha come level 30 is openly admitting the issue is the player.

To summarize: You couldn't make a build work for whatever reason. Someone else did. They were the one shamed for what they did. Something tells me the issue with your play is you. (looks at poster's history) Wait, nope. That can't possibly be it. Sorry I even mentioned it.

You'll be surprised to hear that there are people who have millions of followers on their Youtube channel and make enough coin to where that is their full-time job. Back when I played Path of Exile, I watched videos of it all the time. Someone who does a channel covering how to do builds in CoH would have a following.
