  1. I threw unrelenting fury into smite and brutes fury into soul drain then ran out of slots and took energy mastery.
  2. I play a ton of mm's but only a single one runs sonic and its just incredibly dull to play despite being able to handle most stuff. Its one of those sets that could use some work. I look at liquify the way i look at noxious gas, 2 tier 9 powers that need some love. Sonic cage is useless except in one respect and that is knowing you will skip it and have room for a useful power. Clarity usually gets skipped too. And your left with 2 buffs and a bunch of end hungry toggles and spend the rest of your power picks attempting to bump your defence. And the sound effects of sonic repulsion are enough to put you off it even though its amusing watching stuff flop about as they try to hit a pet. Most mm secondary's are fun and useful, even force fields are more interesting to play than sonic and sonic actually has a decent debuff, it never surprises me that i haven't seen one being played for almost a year now. But it isn't just on mm's, sonic needs love on all AT's, it used to be one of the most asked for sets on teams but after /cold was introduced it got dumped big time and hasn't made any sort of comeback since and never will til it gets a bit of a revamp.
  3. Steam spray is one of my favourite powers in the water set but i find it limited when i play by jumping into the centre of the mob for venemous. Having s/l defences and all the - to hit poison provides i found it more survivable than a resist shield. I'd love to be able to open the build Kami but until i can get my mids to update i'm only able to input manually what i can see when the powers and sets are listed rather than just a data chunk. I'm on a poison/beam fender now and its debuffs are just ridiculous but i still think corr is the way to go and water is the best option, despite the fenders extra oomph in the debuff department i miss scourge and i feel like the corrs damage is significantly higher. But thats probably water over beam its so much more an aoe set. I do have fire/dark/sonic/rad poison corrs and a poison/fire fender and a fire/poison troller. The water/poison corr is still coming out no. 1 despite its horrific single target animations and attack chain.
  4. Thugs/dark, using darkest night to herd mobs into tar patch while enforcers gun them down and the bruiser goes to work and the arsonist spits fire on everything. Doesnt hurt having a heal that instantly tops up everyones hp, a massive - regen debuff in howling that also happens to rez team mates or just to throw at the mob to stun it and Fluffy to add more - to hit. And you have gang war. And your practically invis thanks to shadowfall, totally invis if your running superspeed on top. I ended up levelling 3of them between live and HC. Bots/dark comes pretty close too when assault bot gets its upgrades and everything in the tar patch finds itself standing in a burn patch. Those 2 combos were definitely my favourites levelling with Mercs/bubs coming 3rd and one of the very few i enjoyed levelling in praetoria, just got better when i got repulsion bubble and anything trying to melee just got bounced away...easily my laziest toon just bubble the pets and watch them go to work with the ranged attacks and kb meaning you dont have to do much at all.
  5. Teamed up with you once on my other account it looks good. I am impressed with the +4/8 runs you did i don't even consider trying that on my mm's anymore they just seem to take forever. Only tried TA with bots and that was over a year ago you have me considering giving it another go i had dumped it in the poison category as a fairly useless secondary but i've been playing a lot of bubs mm's so what do i know 😛
  6. From what i've seen the def bonus is tiny like 1.88% unslotted and you lose even that as soon as you attack. So i look at is as basically a travel power in the concealment set good for a lotg 7.5% and your kb protection/winters gift assuming you don't take a proper travel power. If your taking SJ then its pointless throwing more slots in.

All i could suggest is dumping a slot from smoke flash (not sure if thats supposed to be 3 end reds or something else, either way 2 boosted end reds would be plenty) and maybe shifting it to power boost as you want that up as often as possible. Not sure about the procced out stuff with 0 acc in and no tactics/kismet/acc bonuses. But if it works it works.

  12. Its not much but it is possible to get minor heals for low level content on your fenders. If you throw in the superior defenders bastion chance for pbaoe heal and the superior vigilant assault pbaoe absorb in a fast recharging aoe that you use a lot they fire off pretty regularly, way more than standard proc pieces (at least from experience i don't know what the numbers are) its best in powers like fireball/ball lightning/irradiate as they hit stuff without any effort on your part but i have used them in dark cones as well, they usually end up in torrent as it has massive range and even if your in the mob and only hit a couple of targets it fires through to the mob in the distance and you'll heal team for a small amount as well as putting that tiny absorb shield on. Cold/dark means you won't need to heal much anyway but if you do just hop next to whoever needs it and fire off the attack with the defender procs in its pretty reliable (in aoe's at least providing you hit enough targets)

  14. I have a spines/sr i quite like. When we got the game back i planned to run it as my main as its so cheap to build /sr toons for good defensive values and easy content play. But i ran into a farmer on day 2 and he showed me how easy it was to set up an account and run an afk /fire brute in the background so inf wasn't a problem and i ended up remaking my elec/kin instead. Looked over your build and i see a lot of stuff that could be shuffled. 6 adjusted targeting and 6 devastation don't help you at all bonus wise. Stamina i assume the 5% recharge was the aim but its not helping your defense and its overslotted. You have a lot of defense pieces already that can easily be converted (convert-out of set conversion, click the little arrow below and change category) that would give you more luck of the gambler/reactive defense pieces. If your dead set on running without the scrapper ATO sets you can still get around 45'ish very easily to melee/ranged/aoe. I prefer barb swipe over impale and i noticed you skipped weave which would bump you to about 50 if you took that over laser beam eyes. Gaussian piece should be in build up where its pretty much guaranteed to fire off every time you click it.   15. Yup i frequently take flight on toons now and i run them with evasive/hover for fly speed but it makes a significant difference slotting just 2 zephyrs in hover or keeping flight toggled on. I have a single toon running hover/fly no evasive and its unreal how much slower it is even just zipping about zones with afterburner on. I only mentioned it because it feels like your glued when you attack something then try to move on to the next mob and having to click fly on and off can be mildly annoying, i end up taking ss+cj on 90% of my toons for travel but thats a holdover from live and i have started to take fly more often but i find myself immob'd a lot more especially low lvl tf's where i don't have access to evasive when i would have cj running and wouldn't even notice. Not a problem on tanks/scraps/brutes but if you go for it on a squishy you quickly start wishing for cj 😛
  16. I like what you both did although i'm unsure about some of the slotting. I hate the way i felt forced to throw 4 kinetics into my boxing just to scrape in the s/l so i could drop down to 40'ish and run barrier but i dislike making builds that force me into a particular destiny thats only good when i'm running at levels that allow me to use it. On Thrax's build i don't see the point of the 6 slotted scrapper set in follow up which i assume is there for the recharge as the other bonuses aren't that helpful, i'd throw in 5 hecatomb and the proc from the scrap set, you'd have the recharge and heca proc for extra damage. On Sovera's i'd still throw in an achilles in beta decay (because why not) or one of the other pieces from siphon insight/analyze weakness/lady grey/shield breaker, its not like end is an issue on rad's and sometimes its interesting just to see what they do (i don't number crunch i just play in game) and i dont understand the kinetic crash in shockwave when you could slot the same force feedback piece and have a movement bonus, when hover doesnt have fly speed slotted its awfully slow unless you have fly and evasive running at the same time, at which point i could see even a rad having end probs.
  17. Hit enough targets with shockwave it goes off reliably. Fighting single targets focus is more hit and miss but i never noticed a downtime on hasten, for me its more important to have rad therapy up when i need it. I like having one in an aoe and a single target attack for mobs/av killing i don't find ff+rech in aoe's is good enough on tough stuff but in an attack like focus its much better.
  18. Requires the ff+rech procs to fire off for hasten. I removed the procs from rad therapy after a few tf's it just felt squishy til i put 5 numi in there instead.   19. Your right my mistake 🙂 i get so used to throwing in the full apoc set i didn't notice the manti pieces thanks for pointing that out. Mu is the best i ended up going levi for theme and i had to throw in the 5 winters bite pieces for the en/ne defence. Also finding intuition is nice for the hold/range/slows and makes a change from musculature and i ended up dumping ice patch and geode for assault and tactics on build 1 after getting blinded on a few sf's and realising ice patch wasn't helping on those fast moving teams. Still can't get my mids to update so i really appreciate it when players post more than just the data chunk for me to look at. Thanks for updating your stalker list to include stone it helped me loads i was getting squished repeatedly and gave up on it for a while.
  20. I run an ice/stone/levi and i was looking at your builds (not sure if its been pointed out already) and you have 6 bonuses giving 10% recharge in your ice/stone/mu. Haven't looked over the other stone armr builds you posted yet but it may be worth a peek. And if you dump the apoc set in zapp for 5 winters bite you'll be hitting around 45% e/ne defence which i assume is what you aimed for.
  21. Out of date? maybe but they are a good starting point i havent tried elec domi since last updates so i'm not sure if voltaic is a toggle now and should be taken. My old ( and current unrespecced) build is somewhere on link 2 i think.
  22. And hasten only has 1 slot, not sure if that was intentional or not, and hover has no fly speed so you won't be going anywhere fast.
  23. Looks extremely end heavy but i like the look of it lthough i'd do some proc swapping and maybe shift a few slots. Lift and propel both take ff+rech which is nice in single target attack chains. Slotting procs that do lethal/smashing could be swapped for more exotic and less resisted ones. Neuronic over impeded in grav distortion. Bombardment over impeded in crushing field and dump the rag chance for kd, its an immob so i don't see the point in having knockdown in it. I like the 3 end/rech/slow bits in freezing but if you throw in 3 undermined you have some decent - def and a couple of small but useful set bonuses and with an immob you dont need the slow from it. Or throw in 3 more damage procs i know people say they don't fire off well in pseudo pets like sleet/freezing rain but they will go off eventually at some point. And i'd find slots for a miracle+recovery and maybe a numi+regen in health. Unless your plan is to only play at 50 with a perma ageless core. Otherwise you'll have 0 blue bar after dropping a few of those pets. Maybe a couple more of the overpowering pieces in crushing field for hp/resist you don't have much and you will get hit at some point and it will hurt...a lot.
