  4. So, just hear me out here... /Regen. I've run through the Blue Side with my SM/Regen 1-50 and it was a decent ride. Some hiccups, sure. Now at 50 and Incarnated; he's a bit of a Juggernaut. I was able to trick him out to about 700% base regen, 25-30% to s/l/e/n and about 45% resistance to s/l damage. That with Instant Regen (clicky) and the perma KD from Fault make him a hard out.
  5. Hello Uun! I was just just looking for set bonuses with OSA, DA and FA. The same for Acid Arrow. Leaving Inferno out was a hard decision. It's a PBAoE and I sort of envisioned myself staying at range via Hover for the duration of most fights. IS it good enough to overcome it's ranged limitation.

  8. Off Topic but I tried the 801's recently on my DM/Rad TANKER and got rekt on the .7? one. Whew...what a rush. Literally no chance I'll ever attempt that on the Rad/Regen Sent :P
  9. Senpai has noticed me!!! Oldskool. I suspect that you're correct about AT expectations not being in synch with CoX realities. I'm almost positive that at the onset I believed that I'd eventually be able to handle x4/x8 mobs. As it turns out; teaming with support players is actually fun and I still get to have some blast-y ish fun. Win/Win.
  10. So I've completed the changes as recommended by Senpai Oldskool and it feels quite a bit better in terms of damage. I also dropped Neuron Bomb for a proc'ed out Dominate. It's dropping bosses a good deal quicker. Still having trouble going any higher than x1/x8 with him, tho. Despite his lackluster survivability; I'm still enjoying the experience. Don't give up on him just yet. FWIW: I've been actively seeking bubblers to duo with whenever possible and it's been a huge boon. Anyone know of Philhilotic Knight is still playing?! Thinking about picking up Melee Hybrid and maybe swapping out Ageless for Barrier.
  11. In a lifespan of poor choices, subpar decisions, lack of critical thinking and execution; this is without doubt my biggest mistake. I was looking to make a melee oriented Sentinel. You know, get all up in your grill and blast face kinda thing. I enjoy doing similar things with my Dominators, Defenders, Blasters...etc. So I thought to myself; why not a Sentinel. They get defense armors and I've read that Regen for a Sentinel is perhaps the finest iteration of the Set. So I gave it a go. Well, I did it. Only, after blowing literally all my influence on the character, I'm not exactly pleased with the end result. My understanding concerning Regen was to max the Recharge & Max HP and follow it with some S/L resistance. IDK, I gave it my best. Please review and tell me where it needs to be refit. Thanks.   16. I've had decent success running this. It's no Stone or Invuln but it's not atypical to tank some of the big game out there. Just be careful around psi based enemies and those with heavy KB.   18. I feel you, brother. It wasn't until I could get the Cardiac Incarnate slotted AND placed a PErformance Shifter +end proc in Rise from the Flames (in addition to stamina and the 3 procs in HEalth) that i felt like my endurance woes were mostly resolved.

  22. I attempted a non-MoITF the other day and was sadly unable to complete it. This may have more to do with my own lack of skill as a player than the set themselves. The first mission to rescue the Oracle gals went smoothly enough and I was able to protect Sister Solaris from the rampaging mobs that attempt to defile her whilst she consults with the Well. Fault and Tremor were huge here (as they have been throughout). The 2nd mission was a little more dicey. I died twice after squishing some Cysts. The ambush mobs starting piling up and caught me. Was able to revive, run past them and escape successfully. But I ran out of gas on Mission 3. The General section stopped me and rather soundly. I killed off a few but the ambush mobs and native groups were able to overcome my regen/defense. I attempted to kite , evade and run away but I couldn't power through the EBs. I don't know if I just didnt have the DPS or what but I gave up after dying well over 10 times. I'd like to give it another go soon and get back to y'all.

  24. Just off the cuff, after 2 days of non-stop EM/EA action my scrapper and I think it might be the most fun I've ever had with a melee set since I enrolled back in 2004. No hyperbole. I fully admit to PL'ing him in the AE and IO'ing the same day. My honest feelings concerning the set were rather muted during BETA testing but after 14 hours of Live Play; I can tell you I'm hooked. While I'm no build master; I was able to softcap to s/l, f/c & e. ne is at 39% and psi/tox a lowly 19%. I did accomplish perma Hasten and a respectable 53% resist to s/l. I've got one death on him when I decided to be a completed idiot during a DA Story Arc and attempt to Tank a 8 man spawn of 54's. Not my proudest moment. The chain I've found that works best for me is TF > Q-ET > EP > BS > EP > TF. It feels like I'm spanking mobs with a mack truck and it's among the best feelings I've had in the City. Nailed a Cimerian minion for 760 with a BU > ET Crit. I can't honestly recall a larger number (Note: I've never played a TW/Bio Scrapper). I suspect there's an EM Stalker in my future.
