  1. Thats not analogous to what Force Fields are supposed to be, though. Force Fields are supposed to be a physical barrier between you and the enemy attacks, not just padding or armor. If the Fantastic Four are fighting, like, spider monsters and the monsters try to inject them with a poison or web them up and Sue Storm (who is a major influence on the set) blocks it with a force field, there’s gonna be no effect on the team, because those attacks did not land at all, they were blocked entirely.
  2. I don’t think Absorb fits thematically for Force Field. They’re supposed to be a barrier that prevents attacks from landing on you at all, but Absorb still lets those attacks land, and you also take all the debuffs attached to those attacks.
  3. It’s been known for ages that the issue 0 contacts are largely carbon copies of each other, I’m genuinely surprised the wikis were never written to reflect that.
  4. We're down to triple digits of packs above the seeded packs. Might we actually see the end of player Winter packs before the price drops again in ~2 weeks?
  5. Yomo Kimyata right now*: * two weeks ago
  6. More of a feat of Super Reflexes than Super Strength, though, isn't it? He clearly just popped Elude.
  7. Where in the tutorial does it tell players about the auction house or /ah? Nowhere that I can recall. And what new player is gonna look at the inspirations the tutorials give you and think, “I bet I can sell that!”? One thing the tutorials do do, however, is get you to level 2, which quadruples the cost of amplifiers. New players who who are taking advantage of amplifiers just do not exist.
  8. New players can't afford Amplifiers even on live. The only way they could possibly scrape together enough inf is with marketeering tactics they are absolutely not going to know.
  9. I don't really mind the change. Amps are supposed to function as inf sinks, but they're not really doing that if a level 50 character can just defeat a single +1 boss and pay for 8 hours of each on a level 1 character, which seems by far the most common use for them.
  10. I'm liking the new Tombstone icon.
  11. Who's buying low-level characters amplifiers with their own inf? If you can't afford SOs there's no way you could afford amplifiers. Did you mean when they don't have a lot of slots to put the enhancements in?
  12. Alright, this is something that many power customizations are affected by, but Stone Melee in particular. Can we please get Non-tintable versions of alternate power animations? As in, the new animations with the old FX using the baked-in colors. You can't mix and match these new animations with the defaults from other powers, because it's impossible to match the original colors with custom colors. Your only choice is to make every single power color-tintable, and the sad fact about CoH's power customizations is that customized colors never look quite as good as the originals. If what you want for your powers is basically the original colors, the defaults just look better than anything you can make; there's more detail, more depth to the textures and colors. Stone powers are a perfect illustration of this: the color-tintable rocks just look flatter than the defaults.
  13. Oh I've got a list started. A big long list. And the things on that list... hoo-hoo boy!
  14. Can't give Super Strength to Blasters, Knockout Blow is already in their Leviathan Mastery
  15. Without armors or defensive powers this class would just die a lot.
  16. How difficult do you want that to be, exactly? Only asking because I still hope distance to target will someday be added to the Target window.
  17. Should Market Crash be included with those other two? Unlike Eden and Hydra, it doesn’t predate incarnate powers.
  18. What about NPC debuffs? Tarantula Mistresses' Mental Scramble desperately needs some kind of possible counterplay.
  19. That happens after our character does their thing. The power calls a big rock in the sky, what happens after that is up to gravity. It's not like we call powers like Trip Mine or Frag Grenade "Shrapnel," even though that's what they always become.
  20. That page says it's not a meteorite until it impacts, like I said.
  21. Its not a meteorite until it impacts, so I think Meteor is the right choice.
  22. People don't even want to run the trial during the short month it's available, and when they do, they skip all the optional fights and run to the end. Making it available year-round would just kill it.
  23. The animation has those little baby meteors hitting before the big daddy shows up, why not just have it do teeny damage and knockdown until the meteor arrives?
  24. Yeah, it’s a weird icon, but for what the power does I do think it works.
  25. Have you tried getting some Range bonuses on your characters? It's subtle, but once you get used to them it's hard to go back. They're great for cones, especially, even though they don't make the cones any wider, since the area of effect still gets much larger.
