Jimmy, I like the colored listing and the level breakdowns. I'd have no problem with an option to alphabetize but would not want alpha to be the default or only sort. I personally would go for a slightly different pallette, but that's me.

Beta Server (Brainstorm): Impending Server Wipe in 24 Hours

But @Jimmy, is there anyway to save bases? Or import ones from the live game? It's a hassle and timesink to recreate even a small functional base. -

That's how most people have played PvP since the zones came out. It is and was rare to have someone play BB, Siren's, or Warbug at native level.

All the missions in Bloody Bay and Sirens. The missions give small bonuses/debuffs to one faction or the other. And the patrol gives a nifty temp stealth power. The Meteors in Bloody Bay, Siren's Call Bounty and Zone Battles, Warburg's Nukes, and RV's Pillboxes are available to everyone because the zone auto-exemps you to the appropriate level. But players are currently locked out of the instanced missions once they out level them.

Focused Feedback: Teleportation Pool Revamp

But Jimmy, why can't I teleport Hamidon into police drones? It's super fun! -
One or two runs through the last Signature Story Arc (Pandora's Box, Episode 5: Brass Tuesday) at x8 should get you the badge after a couple of kill all runs. It's a super fun arc too, in a team or if you can solo that many Nemeses.

QuiJon: If you are on Excelsior, I would be happy to team and TP your character to any badges in any zones you want. I would guess that you could find similar offers on other servers. Hell, I can always transfer a character. If it stays as is when it goes live, send me a DM and we'll coordinate a date and time.

Different question for you macro pros or any dev/GM: Could I make a macro that had the Pocket D image skin that used the LRTP but took me to Pocket D without any additional clicking? I realize it won't be exactly the same but at least it will give me the illusion of retaining that little perk I paid for all those years ago.

Nope. Well, I don't think so because any IO over level 50 doesn't exist naturally in the game. But maybe this lets you cheat that limit.

I also finished the arc this weekend on a level 50 blaster with a so-so build (some premium IOs, some SOs, even a couple of DOs!). And it is pretty dang hard solo at that level. I died more than I am used to and got very close to dying a dozen more times. Part of that is dealing with Vahzilok -- their toxic vomit is hard to defend or resist, they can rez, and the explosions can catch you if you aren't constantly vigilant. Beyond that, it seemed that there were parts of the arc where there were more critters than usual for a 0/0 solo run -- the ones that come to mind are Cortex and his ambushes and some of the warehouse rooms. And as BlueThingy mentioned, the fires can get crazy. For me, it was trying to get a blinkie without dying. I made it, and then the ambush got me while the counter was going off. Luckily I had the [Return to Battle] temp power. I had previously run this on my level 50+ namesake tank and it was difficult at points for him too. I'm not advocating that it be watered down any more, but there should be flashing neon lights at the beginning that this is harder than usual and you might want to bring friends. Flashing neon is required because there is a lot of text to read and it has to stand out.

It's not a super big deal, but I'd prefer to keep the Pocket D TP as well. Although you are giving us lots of new options to travel, you are also taking away the /basepasscode and that's leading to much gnashing of teeth. Taking away another option is probably not a great idea. I know folks (including me!) complained about having too many options taking up space on power bars. I was joking about it, but others are very serious about it. I feel that the popup menu can take the place of any or all zone transporters now and that cures the lack of bar space as much as anyone could want. And the reduced recharges are icing on the cake, in my opinion, Additionally, although this is a bootleg pirate game and Pocket D VIP is given out to everyone for free, I actually paid real money for it once upon a time.

Then that's a bug. I only got 22 per run at x8 as well. Or maybe it's 5 waves that adds up to 22. Not sure on that.

Those three options have been listed as "beta" for over a year on the live servers but are pretty well established by now.

Giving this a little more thought and trying to put myself into QuiJon and others shoes . . . what about putting a base portal in Ouro? You could place it close to the O-Portal for convenience or behind the building with the Echo teleporter. Alternatively, how about adding zones to the available ones you can get exiting Ouro? Why can't you take a time portal to anywhere in the city?

That and a free base TP that had 0 recharge, 0 end cost, and no animation time was pretty sweet . . . but it was also a cheat code. He can absolutely play however he wants and get or ignore whatever badges he wants. I'm just pointing out his complaining about having to spend time getting exploration badges for LRT and simultaneously complaining that he's too busy getting day job badges to park by a portal. But he can certainly do or say whatever he wants within the rules.

QuiJon, I understand that you don't like the change and are lobbying for a free portal. Have at it and good luck. It would certainly save me influence if you succeed. However, you can't have it both ways in stating that you will have to force your characters to farm for exploration badges and then claim you can't log off next to a portal because apparently each of your characters needs all the day jobs. That seems inconsistent to me.
