So you got banned from one of several servers but still get to play on the others, including the one you like best . . . *shrug* -

I've always played with the "bad word" filter on, from the time I discovered it on live until now. I get enough of that in real life and prefer not to see it while I'm trying to unwind. So I'm sure Cox/g is not for Flea. -

Fair enough. But I honestly lost track of what your point was. I saw your video and some of the Reddit and Discord comments about it. I'm glad you found a home you are happy with. -

I've lost track of what point you are trying to make, Sylar. Is it that CoX/g isn't that bad? Is it that HC is bad? Or something else? -
Ummm . . . maybe that was my fault. When BAF was first on the test server, I was one of a few dozen folks invited to test it. This was before anyone had any I-powers, other than perhaps a low tier alpha. My first strategy was to fight the spawns on the roof of the small building in front of the tennis courts. The AVs could barely make it up but all their other robot friends could not. Next patch everyone got a boost to their jump!

I am sure this is unpopular, but I miss the city life
Bionic_Flea replied to arkieboy72472's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Part of the problem is part of the beauty of this game . . . the city itself. There are so many zones on the blue side, and then add on the red side, and the gold side, and you've just dispersed the population into just shy of sixty different zones. And then it seems like most players are either in Atlas Park or Peregrine Island, but that's just the Alpha and Omega -- the beginning and the end. God knows I'm not suggesting it, because I've grown attached to all the zones and their little quirks and bits of personality, but if we had less zones the city would seem more alive. -
Here's one: Softcapped to S/L/E/F/C and AoE. Sonic/Kin is kind of an odd combo because you want to be close as a kin but at range for your cones as a sonic. But I embraced the dichotomy and took all the cones, added Annihilation to Shockwave and Siren's Song to give them -resist as well, and Cryonic to add a 4th cone to the mix. You could switch out Overwhelming Force for Annihilation in Shockwave if you don't want to deal with the KB. Solo against large groups, I would put them to sleep with Siren's Song, run in to Fulcrum, Amplify, and Dreadful Wail, and then either single target what's left or pull back for more cones. You could do the same in groups but open with Howl instead of Siren's. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! Bionic_Flea replied to arkieboy72472's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I earned field crafter once on live and once here and I refuse to do it again. I find it to be a tedious waste of time and effort to craft a bunch of stuff that I have to delete because no one buys them, or sell them for a pittance just to have enough room to sell the next batch. I do, however, buy the worktable for every other character I make, along with all the teleporters, a jetpack, and a number of other temp powers. All that stuff is super convenient to have and saves me time. But I also realize that there has been a lot of power creep along with . . . let's call it convenience creep. I am much more concerned with power creep than convenience creep. I think that power creep is what makes this game easy. I also think that running TFs and arcs with the Ouro restrictions (no travel powers, players debuffed, players buffed, etc.) should give something else beyond a badge for doing it the first time. -

I'm generally not a fan of choking cloud UNLESS it's paired with another aura, like hot feet for example. Other people love it, especially with the Lockdown +2 hold proc. And yes, recall friend/mutation/fallout/vengeance is part of this build's gimmick as a "mortician" or a necromancer. You could certainly switch those out to go in a different direction and you should if you intend to solo all the time or play in teams where no one ever dies. But in PUG groups, it's an amazing combination that can turn an almost team-wipe into a curb stomp. Fallout does amazing damage AND is an insane debuff (-20 def, -50 res, -30 tohit, and -30 dam). That combined with the buffs from vengeance, which also benefit your pets, and even the dead ally gets a boost from the mutation rez, makes for some fun times. -

Bionic_Flea replied to ApollyonJones's topic in Mastermind
Here's my concept build for a Mortician: necro/rad! Not only does he raise the dead to serve him as pets; he calls allies to him with recall friend and then casts vengeance, fallout, mutation! He's just shy of soft-cap to S/L, but with radiation infection, gloom, life drain, and all the -tohit generated by the pets you are essentially softcapped to much more than just S/L. The defense is backed by moderate resists, and heals from radiant aura and life drain (which some pets also have). The pets also have +10 defense to all (+25 to AoE) and +25 resist to all from the pet proc IOs, which goes on top of their inherent armor. While Bots are better AV and GM killers this build can also solo AVs and GMs. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! I have noticed this behavior as well on both buys and sells. The only pattern that I have detected is that it usually happens to characters that either have not been played or have not interacted with the market for sometime. I think Wentworths wants to see your face from time to time or it sells around you. Fargin bostitch.

Illusion / Time, my first 50 ever ; I'm lost and need help
Bionic_Flea replied to Cetrix's topic in Controller
Cetrix: A few comments on the build you posted. 1. Slotting Miracle +recovery in spirit ward does almost nothing for you. It will only have a chance to proc if and when you use that power. See if you can find a slot somewhere to put it in health and put something cheap in spirit ward, like a Doctored Wounds heal/end/rech. I took a proc from Time Stop. 2. The common end mods are only slightly better on endurance than putting in an LoTG def/end in both Superior Invis and Maneuvers. That's a slight loss of endurance for a gain of defense and regen. 3. To cure your endurance problems you've got to hit Chrono everytime it's up. You might also go after the endurance and HP accolades. 4. You might also consider trading the Basilisk's Gaze recharge/hold for Acc/End/Rech/Hold in both Time Stop and Blind. It's a slight loss to recharge and hold but I think you are better off with the accuracy and endurance. Blind is an often used power so reducing the endurance use will add up and missing is always a complete waste of endurance. 5. I removed the acc/rech from Phantasm and put an LoTG defense in Farsight. That will put you at softcap or higher to every type and vector with power boost. Here's the data link with those changes: http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1683&c=737&a=1474&f=HEX&dc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

My apologies. I just skimmed the list and didn't realize they were for rejecting specific kinds of recipes and inspirations. I wonder if they were something considered and rejected for the more generic reject badges that exist in game, or if they are additional badges that might make their way into the game in the future. -

The reject badges for recipes and inspirations are, indeed, a thing. They are real badges. -

Here's what I did with my Illusion/Time: Perma Chrono/Hasten/PA/Farsight, Softcapped defense to S/L/E/N and Ranged with others in the mid 30s, which can then be further boosted with support core hybrid and clarion radial destiny. Clarion also provides mez resistance and can be alternated with Rune of Protection with a small gap.
