  1. That's being cheap, not evil.
  2. Not for 666? Shameful!
  3. I sometimes PL myself in the AE with my second account and even then rarely more than a few levels -- either the first few, the last few, or a few in the slog that is the 30s. I almost never PL from 1 to 50. As far as I can remember I haven't done that at all in HC, but maybe I did early on. Sometimes, if I am bored, I will log in a farmer to run a few maps. I find it relaxing once I get into a rhythm. I don't mind if people want to PL to 50 or however much they want to. However, I do think that afk-farming, especially multi-box afk-farming may be a bit too much for me. I think you should be at the keyboard if playing. That's just my opinion.
  4. Famous last words . . .
  5. It depends on the time, duration, and period between mapservers. If I was going to log off fairly soon anyway, one is all it takes. If I have hours of free time left, I'll come back if it's only a few minutes in duration. If it takes too long to get back online I might get distracted by or busy doing something else. And if I have several back to back I am more likely to just give up but less likely if they occur over a longer period.
  6. Present and accounted for . . .
  7. Damn it! Now I want a flaming torch for staff fighting. Perfect for Fiery Aura or Reactive Alpha users!
  8. Is that a Fish Lollapalooza with pyrotechnics and the trash left over after the concert?
  9. I need it explained to me . . . slowly . . . with pictures.
  10. Can we have a thread proving how dumb we all are. Like with charts and data and stuff!
  11. Squirrels stole it.
  12. Buy low, sell high, in bulk.
  13. I read that as "Old Yeller. The remarkable story of a loyal Texas range dog and his teen-age monster."
  14. Wise, old Mr. Owl says 3. However, a joint study by NYU and FSU scientists published in the Journal of Fluid Dynamics determined that it takes about 2,500 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.
  15. Very good history lesson on influence and infamy. But Praetorians have their own currency -- Information (not infants!) -- so now each side had its own currency. And UltraAlt was also correct that initially when the Auction House and Black Market first came out (way before Praetorians) Influence and Infamy were different and the Markets were completely separate. Some things were very expensive on one side and much cheaper on the other side. It was a mess until the markets, and the currencies, were merged. They still retain their respective names. If you kill a critter in a red zone its infamy. But it's all "Inf" and equal and tradable.
  16. Congratulations, Uber! Wishing you a lifetime of marital bliss.
  17. There's also a few missions that give you costume temp powers.
  18. Buying and selling the same thing is flipping. Buying a recipe to craft isn't flipping; it is value added -- you are spending time and resources to make a thing a better thing. Same with using converters -- you are turning junk into good stuff.
  19. Yomo, Master of Seeds, Giver of Gifts, Mathamagician.
  20. Snarky, it is impossible to corner the market on salvage. All salvage of the same color is bucketed together so all uncommon salvage are basically the same. Sometimes too many people buy and not enough people sell causing a spike in prices. Sometimes it is a person or group trying to manipulate. But it doesn't last long. It's not sustainable and those that try usually end up in a loss.
  21. It's about an 15-60 minutes or so a day. Log in to alt, hit /ah, collect sales and purchases, then craft/convert/list new stuff and put in new bids. Then either go play or log into second alt and repeat. The time range is based on how much stuff you craft/convert and how lucky you get with your conversions. Some days you are lucky and almost every conversion is something that sells, other days the RNG gods feel like torturing you and your clicking finger wants to fall off. Sometimes I just run through several alts and do that and also move them for day job badge purposes. It's fairly mindless, needs no team, and sometimes it's just nice to visit old characters and see what they have or might need. Other days I just log in and play a character and do the craft/convert/sell at the end of the play session before logging off.
  22. Hey now! That's Species-ist!
