  1. I support all social media bringing dislikes back. If you can't handle a negative response to bad takes and cannot definitively prove you are correct despite that, maybe rethink your hills to die on.

  3. Timing the new bio/martial, and re-doing the energy/rad and AR/tac. Claws/EA soon, and gonna push for that sub-3:00 fire/fire/fire soon.
  4. To break it down: pistols/mc or pistols/ninja if you just want style, RP value and a ton of holstered weapons. AR/tac for one of the best blasters you can make, and THE best pure ranged blaster, ar/ninja for one of the scariest blappers with incredible range clearing ability, just for clearing the trash before you murder the boss with your sword and snipe.
  5. 5. Unless I'm zoned out, I'd say my movement is pretty on point. 4. I prefer not to, but when I do, it tends to go well enough. Someone like Veracor should probably be considered a 6. 5. I'm one of the best character builders, and others have told me such. >.> 5. Badges are pretty easy to get for me on any character. Though I've only really gone for 100% on the warshade. 5. My bind setup is pretty good for me. 4. Some gray areas in terms of lore and power history, but my grasp of the game is pretty solid.

    Plus, even without procs it's still top tier. And knowing that if the devs are dumb enough to actually nerf procs - that your character would still be good, makes it easy to invest in it.
  7. Overpowering tohit buffs or higher difficulty settings, having a buffer for defense debuffs, and because monkebrain likes bigger numbers.

Dam cap was hit before HC got around to it, I forget how many times between then and now, but brutes took a few hits and were still basically on top by virtue of how bad critless scrappers, pre-HC tanks and pre-rework stalkers were. Brute sort of coasted by due to being the least awful melee, which over time - as functionality was fixed for other melee classes - highlighted more of the issues with brute on HC. Should I be recommending bad character combos because it's -1 diff? Spare me.
  10. Sav/dark brute/tank and pretty much anything with bio.
  11. Smite for the scrapper's strike set, Siphon life for critical strike procs - full set if you -have- to, but I wouldn't. It's a good power to frankenslot. Assault radial unless you plan to solo without using your insp trays at all. Between soul drain, team buffs and reds, you'll be flirting with the damage cap and wish you had radial.

    25% of an ET hit, particularly when stacked on reds, is still going to do more than most attacks crit for. Brutes and Tanks get an inherently worse version of energy. Total focus crits give stalkers and scrappers two charges for ET/power crash, which opens up a lot of crazy rotational potential, particularly if you get chain hits. Potential tanks and brutes can never tap into. Currently yelling at Ston to adjust the rotation, expect it to jump up a few places if he ever gets around to it. It's worth noting, Energy doesn't have access to a good FOTG or achilles mule by itself, which are notably large damage boosts. Regardless, you can't go wrong with energy. Pairs very well with bio, fire and rad (My favorite) in particular.
  13. If you're going to do kin, do it on a stalker. Garbage set otherwise. Martial, by comparison, is quite good.
  14. I really wish people would stop confidently saying wrong things on these boards, tankers blow brutes out of the water even when soloing. To answer the OP: I'll just throw all the best options off the top of my head and you can pick what vibes with you best. Blasters: AR/ta, Fire/fire, Water/atomic Scrappers: Claw/bio, Energy/rad, Ice/fire, DB/energy Corruptors: Can't go wrong with ice, water and dark paired with dark, cold and storm. Storm is also really good if you play around it's strengths. Psi/kin is also probably the new best kin pairing. Defender: Poison paired with fire or procced DP. Controllers: Illusion+cold, dark or rad. Plant/storm, gravity/storm. Dominators: Plant/psi, Dark/earth, Mind/dark. Tankers: Anything with SR, shield and bio will be effectively unkillable in most content. Martial is probably the strongest output set right now overall, a bio/martial is disgusting, but dark melee will be extra good on shield and SR. Brute: Same as tanker, but they are inferior to tanks in essentially every way. Regen becomes an option, just because tanks don't have it.
  15. Storm cell's a little more pathetic than I care for in terms of damage output, but thinking the set as a whole's aoe output is bad is simply not correct. False incarnate 2.0.mbd I welcome any doubters to try it.

  17. Leveling, just use what you can, attack vitals is your best ST chain until giga high recharge. Which is why SR and ENA are great pairings for the set when not leaning on externals. Rotation goal: Blind>Ablating>sweep>Ablating without gaps. Not sure if I still have the build since swapping comps, but I'll make one for you if nobody else does.
  18. If it could leverage the ato properly, it'd mostly likely be competing with axe for top marks.
  19. For the longest time, I've felt like the only person vouching real hard for savage. I only find it weakest on scrapper due to the lack of a really reliable ATO proc mule that isn't also something you'd want to crit. It's either vicious or leap, but you want both to crit.
  20. Reworked the char to take the snipe over psi darts, since it's an old char. Pretty dumb single target for a plant.
  21. I should probably revisit the plant/psi eventually, I didn't take the snipe. Now I can easily take it and fit it with some slots for some more burst ST damage. It was getting sub-2min pylons and 4:30 trapdoor times without incarnates besides the alpha, so it's a bit of a beastly build.
  22. Rotate probe>tk>punch, should be seamless by the second cross punch. Hasten + purple sets + ffb uptime make domination perma that early as long as you keep fighting. Can video if I really have to. If you thought I meant naturally leveling, nah. Not enough slots. Could maybe get more uptime than most due to xpunch though.
  23. Psi assault is criminally underrated, same with mental for blasters. Got a pair of psi doms that are basically tanks with a full attack chain and permadom by level 14. Unlike most other pet sets, illusion times are accurate, too.
  24. Storm's not a bad set at all. Could be better, I hate the lockout, but it's performance despite proccing poorly is fairly good.
