I have a Thugs/Empathy MM with the provoke power. She has the Bring it emote tied to text "Come get Some". I decided not to bind it to the power Provoke because the emote is too long and she uses it to pull a group back into a group of thugs to get ganked. The Bring it emote is just used for effect after shes safely backed around a corner. She is, of course, a squishy. My Ninja/Time MM has his Ninja crew named after famous Rock N Roll Guitarists. They do the group Air Guitar emote together after mission ends that are successful. Or sometimes when they're just standing around practicing. Since I am an old Victory Server player, of course I use the Victory emote on a lot of my toons. We were the only server with its own emote, and its like a secret handshake.

Still using Tequila here. Cannot login with either https://manifest.coh.gg/testing.xml or http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml to the live servers. Getting the "Wrong game version, run the patcher and reconnect, server 20240104_5777, client 20231127_5735. I can however still login to Beta server. EDIT: resolved

I was handing out duplicating gift to players in AP. But they never tossed one back to me. Cannot figure that one out.

I played one scrapper as a throwback era type character who used only SO enhancers until 50, never sent her any seed money playing the game like at was at launch, not even going into newer zones or playing newer TFs. As she leveled my other characters crafted Hero merits and put them into email. She retrieved them and as she dinged 50 she was able to buy full sets of ATO's.

I believe you are right. I know he carried keys, where the Jing-a-linging came from. I remember him as a character that would frequent department stores or malls to promote Christmas consumerism. The song would be played on radio stations to promote his appearances.
-
Mr. Jing-a-ling is the"Keeper of Santa's Sack". He even gives out a badge.

I have a Merc/Poison that does great for the Winter event. I took her on a Vigilante mission vs Longbow and it was another story. Made it through but had to change my tactics a bit. Ooof!

I'd rather it be like Gun Drone. Even if you can't place it around a corner, it stays near you and takes taunt enhancers which is why a blaster would want it; to shed aggro. Currently, it decides sometimes to park itself at the last location and doesn't move to your new location, even when you turn around and look at it. I ended up dropping that toggle and respawning it. Why even have it as a toggle if it does that?

Aggressive or defensive on follow I tell them to attack someone in the group, they fight, one will be left, I may have a debuff on it or they're held helpless with a sliver of green left, they just look him. I have to issue an attack command for the last mob. I am sure they have attacked him previously, but turned and attacked others. It's like they forget to kill that last guy. Perhaps I am just spoiled by Phantom Army not needing instruction to kill everyone. They just do their job.
-
A pet peeve I have had forever. When you're down to the last mob, and the henchmen wont kill it, waiting for your order, even when you're not running bodyguard mode. They just stand there and stare at it.

Rage Quit - the entire team is immediately disbanded from the SS tankers team and is teleported to the mission door exit. He immediately becomes docile for 15 seconds while a poison like aura forms around him causing all mobs to vomit on his shoes.

If it was true sorcery it would only find the Nice presents.

Two very random questions (KB/KD and Regen vs. Res)
KC4800 replied to Story Archer's topic in General Discussion
To answer your first question: As a tank how does it feel to you to chase down a foe you knocked away? To me it feels pretty ok. My first tank on live was a WarMace and we knocked everything away or up, and no one cared. Until I teamed with a burn tank then he cared, what-ever. Yeah, I wasted a burn patch, but so what. When I play a blaster and I knock something away, I own that guy until he's at zero health. So you don't need to concern yourself about chasing him down. You can if you want to but you don't have to. EDIT: The only powers that need KB/KD, imo, are pets that do knockback. Like some controller pets, or masterminds. -
I went to Neverwinter. What a grind.

What kind of snacks do you eat while playing?
KC4800 replied to Glacier Peak's topic in General Discussion
Croissants, of course. They are SO delicious. And Clark Bars I sometimes find in old vending machines. C,mon, you rascal! Drop!! -
Then you should keep it, if you have a use for I, absolutely. I personally don't do this, on any character (even a stalker). I don't use glue arrow much, mainly when I exemplar down. Flash Arrow I have no need for as I am Illusion and I want PA seen, even by multiple groups.

My Illusion/TA Controller is my go to for hard content. The only arrow I don't use is flash arrow. Emp Arrow is very useful, even after you obtain incarnate status protection.

Why was Statesman killed off again?
KC4800 replied to OldSchool SC Fight Club's topic in General Discussion
We may have lost Statesman, but there's still a Phrendon Largo on every server, and I take solace in that. (Even though he lost his sidekick Praxitas long ago) -
Willpower is more based on resistance than defense. Don't know anything about Energy. Katana/SR would be a good defensive pairing, since Brutes don't get Ninjitsu.
-
I just noticed the other day, the Arisen Mummy sometimes applies a debuff to you that can last well past the battle. Along with a fly-buzzing Aura, it applies a definite -recovery and probably a -resistance and a -regen. (Not sure, didn't look at the numbers) I call it the "Funk of 40,000 Years."
-
I have a Psi/Regen Sent at lvl 37 that I roleplay with as a Rikti Mentalist costume sometimes. Her only complaint is that a lot of the EB monsters end up running away from her and she can't soft control them to keep them planted. Frustrating. Anything boss lvl and down can be taken care of just fine. Soloing an EB is just an exercise in frustration. π

I've showed my oldest grand-daughter the game. Focusing on the costume creator. (She is only 6 1/2, so I wouldn't have her in game yet) She really didn't seem too interested. I think if she understood all the options more, she might enjoy making costumes, but, alas, I need to give her more time. My son, who is 36 now, played the game briefly on live, but has no interest in continuing. He is more fond, I believe, in FPS or survival games. He also likes to be a DM at game nights at his house.

6 slot health and stamina? Pros/Cons
KC4800 replied to shortguy on indom's topic in General Discussion
I just verified my top 6 lvl 50 fully built characters. None have more than 3 slots each in Health and Stamina FA/Savage Tank runs 6 toggles(3H,3S), SJ/IceArmor Stalker runs 8 toggles(3H,3S), EM/Inv Brute runs 7 toggles(3H,3S), DA/Katana Scrapper runs 6 to 9 toggles(3H,3S), EN blast/Traps Corruptor is 3 slotted Health 1 slot in Stamina, Ill/TA Controller is 2 Health and 3 Stamina
