  1. Maria Jenkins is the mother of Leeeeeeroy Jenkins. She is totally embarrassed, but still loves him.

  3. Exactly. Plus sometimes I forget what difficulty level I am on, then I start a lowbie flashback, and try to finish the mission without exiting and resetting. Also, on a couple of toons I self sacrifice (probably not the correct word here) like turn off green drops, or play a solo defender who does not take a self healing power, just to add my own challenge to the character. I almost never start a character with the express purpose of min/maxing. I eventually just get to a point where I don't think I need to adjust this slotting anymore then I just play the character that way. Which is fine, until an update changes a power in a way that I have to address the power pick or the slotting by respec, which I hate to have to do.
  4. I still get defeated at least once a day on one of my characters, so by that metric, the game is still not too easy. I slot what I slot to get the job done...eventually.
  5. I am the Kip Drordy of Paragon.
  6. Yeah, she's been there for some time. I was assuming there may be a hero only faction thing that wasn't ready for the last update, but her placement was decided so they just left her in place.
  7. This. I have a WM/Regen scrapper and a Psy/Regen Sentinel. I like them both, although neither are favorites. I play defenders with enough defensive mitigation, that I can turn off green drops and still play well. My regen scrapper, who is supposed to be able to regen health so fast, eats more green skittles than any other character, that is if Im not caught in a long attack animation and die before the game realizes I tried to eat that green. My Sentinel almost never dies because she hovers at range and never takes a punch to the face.
  8. It really shines on zone event type stuff, like zombie apocalypse and the MSR.
  9. My AR/Dev is range focused. Have to watch though, my Full Auto easily reaches unintended groups with the newly widened cone.
  10. On newest projects I have been going with infiltration, for invisibility and foot speed, and taking hover and flight for long distances. (Hover just mules +Rech) Some of my older toons have Sorcery. I agree the TP extra power, and the Foot stomp one for the jump, I have little use for so I remove it from the power tray.
  11. Up until last week NEVER ran a DR Quarterfield TF. It is soloable. I never knew that. I ran it with my Ill/TA controller.
  12. Inside and on top of the fort are all lvl 54 groups. You can go farm there. Kill the healers first.
  13. Speaking of old blaster, I really miss the old defiance sometimes.
  14. It's just another Malleus Mundi. I wish it were Sundi, cause that's my fundi. My I don't have to rundi.

    God of Storms

I was thinking of picking up SM at 35 so I can 6 slot it with enough endrdx to run it on occasion. Swap the endrdx with Hami-O's at 50. It probably is a useful power, but it needs slots due to its massive starting endurance.

    God of Storms

Ill probably have to try those eventually on a secondary build. Tornado has always scared me as an uncontrollable pet that brings on too much aggro. Steamy Mist I skipped because I generally solo. If I teamed a lot I would pick up SM to invis the team if necessary.

    God of Storms

I have a Storm/Storm defender currently at lvl 34. I took 6 Storm Summoning powers, skipping O2 Boost, Steamy Mist and Tornado. I took all Storm Blast powers except Jet Stream. I try to keep the foes flopping in the Storm cell epicenter. I start off from full invisibilty, with Storm Cell, then Snow Storm and Freezing Rain. Then I start with the Storm Blast Powers. If the group has a boss or 2 lt, I will lay down a Cat 5. I keep the KB powers like Gale and Hurricane to a minimum only using defensively if I have too many punching me in the face. Endurance is sometimes an issue soloing in long protracted fights so I have to toggle off infiltration and sprint (w/Celerity). I know I can put that Celerity into infiltration, but as I am still leveling up I needed a place for KB protection, and a Kismet +tohit. Eventually Ill get that Celerity moved over, and just use infiltration. This combo works just fine, albeit slow against foes that are energy resistant.
  18. I have one corr that is /Traps. I set up 3 toe bombs and a smoke bomb and caltrops, then fold space. Is that lazy, not generally. I only play that way when soloing. Teams would never wait for that. There are quite often a few slivers of health to clean up with energy blasts after the bombing.
  19. Ninjas cramp my style. But, ok. As long as they don't eat the croissants.
  20. I have a SJ/Regen Scrapper that made 50 over a year and a half ago. I did not keep record of his leveling build, however. I do remember just placing priority into slotting all my attacks, and pretty much ignoring secondary slotting until mid 30's and upwards. Sorry I know that this is not much help, but its all I got.
  21. Speed runs, when you are soloing is fine. Try to beat your best time. When on a team, I find it hard to justify. There are some teammates that cannot survive being attacked by an entire spawn group, or don't have adequate stealth, or when you're facing enemies that rez themselves end up getting stuck dealing with that themselves, when the rest of the group moved on. I just don't partake in team based speed runs. Hard pass for me.
  22. If I need Supas I just wait up north in the normal congregation locations and get them there. TBH I forget about stopping them going in badge most of the time. Im old. Get off my lawn.
  23. I have played Thugs, Bots, Beasts, Mercs, and Ninjas. That is the order of my preference as well. I agree that MM /Poison secondary needs looked at. Knowing what style of play works best with your choice of Primary and Secondary leads to the best success. At range, in melee, that sort of thing. Also, some need the advantage of Bodyguard Mode, while others don't. Experimenting with different scenarios is what I like best about playing a MM.
  24. I love when they keep twitching on the ground, and end up melting into the floor. Very immersive for my Rad/Water Defender. Acidic Burn!!
  25. I haven't taken Medicine Pool on ANY character on Homecoming since I started playing in 2019. I may have taken it once when the game was live.
