If I play Masterminds, Defenders or Controllers I try to fit in as much Leadership as the build allows. My Blasters and all my melee characters take all primary and secondary powers, there is usually not room for full leadership, but I'll take either Assault or Tactics if there is room, and I can see a benefit. Which mean, I guess, that according to the OP, I play both selflessly and selfishly, depending on the AT. And I am completely okay with that.

I just got my first PAP to drop today. On the 3rd mission (I think) of Dark Watchers arc. Had to kill Automaton Positron to get it. wewt!

Sounds like what splash damage tries to mimic already. I do like the OP idea though, sounds interesting.

My fire farming tank is making beaucoup influence now by doing the new repeatable Cimerora missions and arc, and trying some dev choice AE arcs I havent done yet, and visiting Ouro crystal and hitting some favorite mission arcs I haven't done yet. You know, playing the game.

I have only played my Rad/Water Defender a couple times since this change went live, and I have to say, I didn't even notice that the powers were suppressed for 5 seconds. I was just so happy that I didn't have to wait for Choking Cloud to recharge, then turn it back on, then recast Radiation Infection and Enervating Field. Now that I know, I will use that time to eat a purple, red and yellow and take my revenge. Ugh...another visit to the proctologist? No thanks. To answer the OP, no one makes you slot procs. It is obvious you have to give up something every time you slot one. You can convince yourself that it always better to not slot one if you so choose, then you can gleefully run around thinking you've made every correct choice in the game. Or you can be imperfect and just eat that donut. 🙂

I tend to agree. My Inv Brute, and my DA Scrapper are both struggling with that new Cimerora arc. My Fire tank does not have that problem.

Not a bad idea. His 100% Narcissism made him feel like only HE could fix what was "wrong" with AE. So he removed it without even asking one expert.

I knew there was a reason. I don't want to sound like I want anything changed. I like that we have a new challenge. Tactics, just have to get my tactics down. I'll still punch them in the face...but when they least expect it.

Or...they TP into an un-aggroed group and still Heal Other the guy you're trying to kill so you have to find him and deal with him, which means another Healer sees you and starts healing and the domino effect starts. Mind you, you still get no XP or inf for killing that healer.

They TP away. Apparently they don't want to get punched in the face.

Fire/Savage tank enjoying the new aggro. Fire farming only but seems easier, actually. Katana/Dark scrapper enjoying the new aggro. Murdered Carnies only, so far. EM/Inv Brute getting murdered by the Nictus foes in the new arc. Those teleporting healers are the new most hated enemy. Ice/FF Corruptor has to change tactics quite a bit. Will be forcing a lot of foes onto a corner with force bubble, instead of just slows. Still to try: MM and blasters.

I have a few alts that I feel could possibly do well in hard mode content, although I have never attempted it on any PuG. I am a solo player. The one good friend I played this game with stopped playing many months ago. Is this new currency being implemented going to be enough of an incentive to get me to pursue this remains to be seen. I kinda doubt it, being a mini me is cute, but a blob is really of no interest.

I have a Radiation Defender currently up to lvl 42 that didn't take the Healing Aura and turned off getting any green drops. The only way to get healthy is through resting and natural regeneration. She is very fun to solo with.

Doesn't it also add to your AoE defense so if you're not targeted but the guy next to you gets hit with an AoE attack, it might miss you because your just that good?

I concur with this, and it's usually in the wrong channel, but....whoop-dee-doo!!

Blaster defiance I wax nostalgic about but believe now the change was for the best. Blasting tier 1 and 2 attacks and Immob them right back I say is the blaster way now. 🙂 I miss doing the villain cape mission. Also hanging out in old Dark Astoria for that slight hope you might see the elusive Adamastor.
