i am guessing yes.....IF the pseudo pets require accuracy some do some do not
-
you see a level of unity and organization in the player base that i am totally missing

I use Temporal as much as possible. I try not to be in melee and Temporal gives me the tools to be far out and get serious benefits from a Blaster secondary. It is the Willpower Armor of Blaster Secondaries. Its there, it works real good. You can find better, but none as easy to work with.

THis is just an example of the original script never being tested against MONSTER incarnates with alternate strategies. THey did not code for "Everybody go in and slam the fluffies on lead Blasters target and we can clean this thing in under 30 secs...." because that was impossible to do. Now we can (and do) have the ability and the poor old TF is like "nooooooo......"

Are bases the same as maps? Because it would be mad cool to have dome if the best bases as backdrop for AE missions

do pets need accuracy? specifically Dark/Dark's Haunt, Umbra Beast, and Dark Servant? Never can tell when something is a auto hit pseudo pet from mids....

I went to a museum with friends a few times. I have studied art and done a few doodles and canvases. I enjoy being in a museum. Being inspired, imagining what the artist was thinking as they created, beholding intricate techniques used to express concepts. A lot of people just look at the stuff and want to go somewhere else. I had one friend (a rather overweight fellow) who almost sprinted through the museum (with stairs!) reading off each artist and title he passed. I tediously kept up. glum at seeing a Picasso race past me like it was on a conveyor belt. Many folks treat the game the same way my friend thinking of the bar awaiting him outside treated the museum. They race through "all the content" Bullshit, I have a completionist toon I am working, all 1-35 content done...still need 35-50, 40-50, and 45-50, and erm 50-50 to go. I spent months doing the 1-35. Now a 50 he still has access to all the rest that 'needs' to be done. That is a LOT. People do some series of things they think are "enough" racing past the stuff, yelling out the names or badges, then say "Done!" as they exit. Just Bullshit. But it is not how much content the game has. There is a good amount. It is whether the game meets the players needs. For creativity, social interaction, problem solving, etc. With a declining population we are always going to be on the downside of social possibilities. But from a character creator and game content and mini games we do very well. Especially the character design. From costume to playstyle to powersets. Always been top notch.

I just honestly love the geek pride evident in this picture. I sorely miss Comicons. I want my people back! just checked. Comicon in my city in September (unless we get the 7th wave of you know what,,,,) I am going to be there. AND I just decided I will be in full vamp drag. Fear me mortals! (If you notice me before sunset I am buying a few super inspirations for sunlight protection during that time....bidding low now, should have enough by September) -

New Regen Powerset - What could it look like?
Snarky replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I doubt I can add much to the conversation. I have run a LOT of Willpower. Love it. Not much Regen. It sits at a tough end of the CoH game design spectrum IMO. Invulverability is custom made to be in the sweet spot and Regen is wayyyyyyyyy out in the sour, The only thing I look at when I eyeball it (and I am sure this is crazy as it gets) is why is Moment of Glory +Def/+Res. (I know why, it works....) But it does not match thematically at all. Okay, you have a Moment of Glory, you finally get the powers you need for CoH is what it seems to say. How about.....WAY MORE REGEN THAN THE GAME CAN HANDLE? For those beautiful 15 seconds you can stand in death patches from incarnate trials....have BAB and POS and the entire Freedom Phalanx pound you into the ground (and smile back at them....) How about Regeneration? Show some theme truth. Show some creative continuity. Show what REAL Regeneration could be.... -

Energy Melee is very good since the rework. Top notch revision from the Homecoming Team. I stick to Invulnerability and Dark armors so can offer no opinion on Energy Armor

1) i've heard the set blows anyways 2) wind control (or whether folks farm *eyeroll) will have no effect on attracting players

the radioactive boy scout indeed.... -
I personally love Willpower Brutes. I ran SS/Will Brutes on Live and had a hoot (when I/O builds were not easy to put together. Again, lot of SOs. While not able to "Tank" easily and needing to learn the odds before absorbing the Alpha strike, a Willpower Brute, (in my opinion) is a great intro to the game. I run Invul Brutes because with a high end I/O build at incarnate levels Willpower loses out (on a lot) comparatively. This is real end game stuff though. At low levels to 49 the ease of Willpower is fairly balanced to the greater durability of Invulnerability Claws.... I do not know claws. However Super Strength is just hilarious. Willpower also has the End to power any crazy thing including Titan Weapons etc.

Without any Snarky motivation I honestly do not believe the sub community that farms (or what they farm) will add or subtract from the separate discussion of bringing new players onboard (or their experiences once they join)

I started on Brutes. Brutes with mostly SOs and no inherent fitness. Still had a ball. Oh, well SOs after 22 lol Even if slow leveling I recommend a Brute. Learn the game behind armor. I also recommend taking free influence. I do not know if Yomo is still handing out influence but plenty of people are Consider joining an SG. (Necessary plug). I belong to Cosmic Council on Excelsior. Big SG with daily planned events. Discord. Welcoming to players of every level. This can make all the difference To join: go to Discord ( https://discord,gg/DVksJ4N ) Scroll down slightly to Public Channels and look in "Welcome and Rules" Read those and post in "Gateway." Read

OSHA would not approve. But it was funny -
Right. So, we are capable of intricate plans involving multiple strategies First we make a careful plan. Second, we kidnap Tom Holland. Third, (here it gets complicated) we indoctrinate him over a few weeks. ( Like Patty Hearst Stockholm syndrome). After he realizes he loves CoH and must play hours everyday we release him back into the wild as a spokesperson

I have to wonder about the "meta problem" as in if there is a meta problem.... ? That being....are MMORPGS...dying? The genre. Like Blockbuster movies....a product with a declining market? Where are the successors to WoW, CoH, etc? Will they ever happen? Or is this type of thing just not viable for big efforts anymore?
