  1. Yeah, the lack of secondary colour options on the Imperial-with-skin outfit is obnoxious, as the imperfect colour match. But it's such an aesthetically neat piece that it's hard to resist! I'm sure you can pull something out of it that you're happy with.
  2. Spicy build, @Meknomancer! I've been running this (currently low 40s). Puts out similar numbers, slightly different approach.
  3. Apologies for going off-topic on this reply, but this only highlights the need for a much more robust contact- and mission-finder system. Cause currently when I'm in my 20's and use "Find Contact" and see eighty billion hits in First Ward & Night Ward, and 2 dudes in Talos plus a random origin contact (who often doesn't match my hero's origin), that's an issue. I know I'm missing stuff but I don't know what it is or where to find it.
  4. Off the topic of revamping mobs, but still re: The Warriors... They need more content! Back to my last comment about running through Striga: I realized that despite them having a significant street presence in the starting zone, they feature in exactly ONE mission, being Steph's arc finale. And outside of a couple one-shot contact missions (plus the Alexander micro-arc), they are very under-represented in the city at large. In Striga, as Steph presents them as the "rough 'n tumble good ol' boys" that she grew up with, and are now being pushed around by the Council, it would be cool to see more missions featuring them pushing back. (Or being saved - perhaps instead of saving Family from Council, could be rescuing Warriors from Council?) In the city proper, this little piece of lore from the Wiki feels ripe for exploration: Sure wish we could see more of this. "Warrior takeover" zone event anyone?
  5. nthing the suggestions to start with one of the more self-sufficient ATs. Brute, Scrapper, Tanker, Sentinel would all be good options to jump back in with (tho Sentinels suffer from an identity crisis of sorts at the moment). If you do go Brute, I'll go further and suggest one with a damage aura as that will really speed things up in the early game. Also for slotting, focus on accuracy and endredux first, & let fury take care of +damage.
  6. Couple of costume contest entries that I'm really happy about. Slightly tweaked after the fact of course (because I can't help myself!) SHOCK VALUE (Stone/Regen Broot) SUNHAMMER (Mace/Fire Broot)
  7. As an addendum to Warrior weapon choices (and cause I'm playing through Striga right now & noticed), they do have range currently, wielding both bows and crossbows. Nice simple weapons. So maybe they don't need spears too? Just a few more cross/bow attack options?
  8. How's this, built on a DB/Ninjitsu Scrapper chassis: space genie.costume
  9. If there are in fact some lowbie Warriors hanging out in the Hollows (I don't spend near enough time there to know for sure!), it would be easy* to add some spawns down in the SE corner where the Legacy Chain dorks can be found chilling & engaging with CoT. *I don't know from easy (As an aside, can we remove some of the billion-and-one villain groups from the Hollows while we're at it? Outcasts, Trolls, CoT, Igneous & Legacy Chain is already a lot -- the "recent" (in game life time) addition of Hellions, Skulls and Lost feels like overkill and takes away from the flavour of the zone. Plus those groups already have a hazard zone to call their own in PP; do they really need to be in another? IMO of course.)

    Stone/MA build

Looks nifty. You've seriously pushed your psi resists - I assume your plan is to run perma-Granite? I have a Stone/MA semi-abandoned in his 20's, but the proposed changes on test could have me dusting him off. I'll be saving your spec for ideas!
  11. Well I was in the process of typing some stuff out, but @TemporalVileTerror beat me to the core of it. Another option, instead of a Warriors > Neo-Warriors transition, could instead see them as units organized for different purposes. The "street-level" current iteration of thugs, and a more trained/regimented group (bodyguards? relic hunters?) which could add in e.g. the spear users and tacticians. This group could be used to explore the "how" of their acquisition/creation of their relics (as was mentioned by @Crasical). Adding some depth to the lore of a faction seems good. To retain the Alexander hook, it could simply be that they end up agreeing to disagree on their methods, but come to recognize their shared commitment to physical perfection is the stronger bond. An "Avert the civil war in the Warriors' ranks" story would turn that trope neatly on its head. And speaking of depth of lore, we learn early on that there are two "chains" of cooperation that start from the Skulls and the Hellions, but I don't recall (highly probable I missed it tho) any exploration of this at the level the Warriors appear. Having a mission where a random grey-con gangbanger pops up would be a nice little touch to strengthen that chain.
  12. With respect to the notion of splitting the Warriors out by factions, there is in-game lore that could be used to make this happen: the micro-arc Redemption of Alexander the Great. If there were more people within the faction who felt the same way as Alexander does, that could provide a springboard to explore a potential schism.
  13. Not a new piece, but a change in primary/secondary colour assignment on an existing one. Currently, the Tech Knight skin for War Mace has the glowing orb set to match the primary colour, while the glowing accents are the secondary colour. It would be nice if the orb was the secondary colour to align with glowing accents. Or could be separately coloured (orb primary + smoke fx secondary maybe?)
  14. Hey, I can't help it if I think of tweaks after the fact. Hmmm now I should revisit my current submission...

    First solo AV!

Pushing 30, and I hadn't considered going farther into the Striga contact chain (I ran Steph's arc for the ring -- didn't even realize Maestro would spawn as an AV cause it's been so long since I've gone past Steph). Oh well, more to do via flashback I guess!
  16. SUNHAMMER (slight edit cause I just can't leave well enough alone) sunhammer.costume
  17. Of course! Old school TF or nothing. I remember being super excited to come home from summer vacation because the cartoon was releasing shortly thereafter. I watched the intro episodes more than a few times... And of course hitting theaters with my friends to watch the movie a few years later. I had the soundtrack on cassette even!

    First solo AV!

That's awesome. I'm leveling my guy through the OG story arcs, in which case it looks like my next sights are set on the Envoy of Shadows. I really should have turned off xp at earlier points and run through the Task Forces too, but that didn't occur til just now. And also, no more nerfing Regen! 🤣
  19. Top 5 woo! And gratzies to Clawdebt for the win! I'll get you next time....
  20. That head gives me some serious Optimus Prime vibes!
