  1. Rad Riding Hood, my Savage/Rad Brute.
  2. A little outside the box, but Ice/Spines! One of the spines customization options can be made to look kinda icy-ish, and again with auras and such... You would still have to deal with the toxic green splash from the spines -- doesn't seem like that can be recouloured anywhere -- but if you can either ignore or headcanon that aspect it could be a fine choice. And with two damage/slow auras it's sticky AF to boot.
  3. Dark/Elec can also work, especially with costume and path auras to play with.
  4. Hmm yeah that makes sense!, thanks!
  5. Taking a stab at these during a lull in moving activity. Hopefully you like some of what you see! For the Mk.1 version my mind goes immediately to mismatched parts. Hey, the guy just jacked whatever he could off the site and did his best to make something out of it (and even the belt clipping kinda works to establish that things didn't fit quite right...): The Mk.X harmonizes & upgrades the suit considerably (retaining the upper and lower armour style but replacing everything else): power line mk1.costume power line mkx.costume
  6. Seconding the "gotta remember this when my /Dev hits 50" comment. Tho I'm curious: why not mine the big bads' spawn points? I'm assuming it does dumb things to their behaviour or otherwise borks the encounter?
  7. I've been enjoying /Dev (L29 so far), even tho the seismic shockwaves don't play nicely with Field Operative's stealth or Trip Mines as I've very recently discovered. Might roll something else up as well to go for a more melee-ish guy. Blasters and I have never been friends so this is a pleasant surprise.
  8. Possibly a bit too much, but... outcast sentinel.costume
  9. Dusted off this guy today and ran through a few missions, and as I watched my stats I realized that my proposed 50+ build might be going too hard on defense bonii and neglecting other aspects. At present he's just dinged Vet Level 1, Alpha unlocked but nothing crafted, so the future is pretty wide open. Proposed build below: My current fresh-50 build is more or less the same, only without anything upgraded to Superior. His SLEN defenses are in the 49-51% range, with FC lagging some at around 41.5%. That's without Energy Absorption. Cold resist obviously through the roof, SL resists sit just under 58%, Fire is 55%, the rest are laughably low. In terms of build direction, I don't see myself soloing any kind of hard targets, so would like to skew the build to leverage the stickiness from the damage/slow auras & max his overall durability. Given that, am I wasting potential by Superior-ing all those Winter sets? Should I be looking at other options, i.e. purples for recharge, or something else to help improve resists/regen (for example)? Any other power choice recommendations are also welcomed!
  10. Running a door mission on a 32 Elec/Inv Sentinel, sent into the sewers to beat up Clamor Boi. I'm finding that VS has extreme difficulty following through the arched doorways, particularly the offset doorway sections: In this case, Sparky didn't even get as far as waiting at the first arch -- it was back a ways through another one! I'm having to do a lot of positioning tricks to line myself & Sparky up at a doorway, then pass through slowly, and turn/wait to make sure it follows me. Any chance the pathing can be looked into?
  11. */Dev on the Blaster side of things is another relatively low-activity secondary that allows focus on the primary. Tho it seems that the seismic waves do not play nicely with Field Operative's stealth due to the KB. A way to shed the effect would be nice.
  12. Leveling SB/Dev, only 18 so far but I'll echo the smoothness of the attacks (even at this level -- of course I'm taking everything in the primary at this point). Also planning to stay at range with help from the shockwaves effect & Caltrops. Definitely can't hoverblast so I need to see how to build him for safety on the ground. I don't know from blasters so this is all a wild experiment.

    MORE TANKS

Seconding the Fire/Ice suggestion. Hands down the most fun I have tanking, if a bit on the squishy side. Ice Patch helps. Also seconding Shield/Elec. Single target is meh but the AoEs are beefy. I've seen it compared to a battleship broadside every ~35-40 seconds or so. I slot mine very unconventionally with 5x sets of Power Transfer for a constant stream of heals and hefty recharge set bonii at the end. Rad/most things is also good; Rad/ has some very good tools.
  14. Musculature sounds like a good option. I so often go to Spiritual/Agility that I forget to look at the others. Yes, I meant Ageless. And Barrier was my other thought - which would also allow a smidge more slotting freedom as I keep seeing "conventional wisdom" suggest slotting to 5% under caps, and relying on base Barrier to fill in the difference. Thanks for the advice!
  15. Thanks @Yomo Kimyata. I can't remember the last time I thought of splitting an ATO set. Proc bombs I'm more familiar with (some of my tankers love them) but hadn't thought of it here due to assuming a squishier scrapper would need the heal more than the bomb. Looks like I might have to look at the numbers for an alternate build taking your ideas into consideration.
  16. Thanks @nihilii. Would you say, if slots are limited, that Heal >> EndMod in Inexhaustible? I get the impression from your second comment that EndMod is not the priority there. I'll track down a Panacea from one of my bins somewhere. I can't believe I didn't think of it in the first place! And I appreciate the suggestion on Shadow Meld. I hadn't looked at the animation on it, just plugged it in the build with the intent of using it when the brown stuff hits the swirly thing (given no DDR in Bio as I understand it, I'll likely be learning how to use it proactively). Since I'm here, if I may, what recommendations would you have for Incarnates? I'm assuming Agility to add in some DDR?
  17. Been on a few month break, and figured I would see what I could do with some of my less-used characters. I've hardly touched scrappers since the relaunch so this is a lot of uncharted territory. I just dinged 35, and have him slotted with generic IOs plus the 2 Scrapper AT sets. The two major questions are 1. Does the proposed 50+ build have all the survival etc. bases covered, and 2. Any suggestions on the post-35 picks which are not yet taken? (I'd rather not respec at this point unless you fine folks tell me I've made some glaring power choice errors up to this level.) Thanks in advance!
  18. Looks solid. In my experience this doesn't seem to be a common pairing. I'm happy to share my build with you in case there's anything in it that you might want to poach. Biggest difference looks to be you've gone a lot harder on shoring up your resists, while I pushed to get Melee def over 45%. Most of the rest prolly comes down to flavour and preferences. I'm sure there's room for improvement in either case.
  19. Happy to help. Re: AW proc, honestly I couldn't tell you if it's doing anything or not. I don't track any metrics. Like I said, I happened to have one in my bins so I thought why not. Objectively, if I were to push the build I'd pull it for another damage proc, or find a better power altogether to put that slot in.
  20. Well, I don't have Rad Armour on a Scrapper, but I do have a couple Tanks and a Brute. I'm also not claiming to be the end-all be-all. But I have found this works for me. That out of the way, and looking specifically at the Brute as that at least puts RadA into the secondary, I'd answer your power questions like so: Gamma Boost: 2x Power Transfer (EndMod & Heal Unique). As an aside I slot 2-3 heals instead on my Tanks - honestly don't pay close enough attention to say what is "better". Rad Therapy: doesn't really need accuracy (Mids says base 225%). I built mine as a mini-nuke with 3 procs plus some heal and recharge. I'm sure I'd get told off for enhancing recharge while using procs but hey. Beta Decay: doesn't need much, can easily be a 1-slot wonder if you're tight on slots. Conventional wisdom that I've read is to plug in the Achilles Heel proc and call it done. I had an extra slot so also added the Analyze Weakness proc (because I had one on-hand so why not). Perfect Zinger and/or Cloud Senses procs could prolly be better. Ground Zero: it's another nuke. I go 5 procs plus a Dam/Rech. Full build if you're interested:
  21. You have to choose the Going Rogue (commonly referred to as "gold side") option on the initial character creation screen: This enables ONLY the Praetoria tutorial & associated Praetorian mission chains etc.
  22. I soloed Dr. Vahz in his story arc mission at level 18(19?) with a Stone/Regen brute. Had the assorted P2W 8-hour temp buffs and 3/4 tray of random insps. It's not something I generally push to do, this was a "can he do it?" kinda whim.
  23. No powers, no name, no backstory. Just a costume filed away for when inspiration strikes.
  24. Keeping most of your elements and colour choices intact, and riffing off your second comment about bridging the gap between her street life and magical potential... notscarletwitch.costume
