To make matters worse, when your body is finally discovered, your lunchbox you had so much pride in has mysteriously changed to "DefaultLunchbox684".

I do have a couple of redside characters, but the highest level one is only in the late 30s. I do enjoy playing as them, but I just have way more fun with my blueside characters. I like being a good guy more! I also find it way easier to come up with concepts for heroic characters than for villainous ones. I sure am a lovely person!

I don't have any advice beyond what's been stated already, but I wanted to say kudos to all involved for the love being shown to one of the coolest members of one of the coolest teams in comics!

Can't say I've done every TF in the game and I've never went near a SF, but I can't imagine I'd disagree with your #1 even if I had. Kicking robots should not be boring, but somehow, Synapse managed it.

The only P&P game I ever played was a really bad attempt at D&D...4th Edition, I think. It was some kind of "starter" adventure between me and two other people, and none of us had ever played a tabletop game before, and I was trying to DM despite this, and all in all it was not very good. I've still wanted to have another go, but I've never managed to get all the people together, schedules don't match up, etc. etc. Timing's just never right. However, I still love hearing about people's games! At some point before I die I want to try Legend of the 5 Rings. I've heard it's a bit daunting for novice players, but clearly that has never stopped me!

For what feels like a few months now, whenever I've gotten a new power, it has reliably missed on first use. Every time.

I actually never made it past season 2 and I can't remember why. Think I just got sidetracked and never went back to it, and by the time I had time freed up I'd heard a lot of people hated the later seasons and that soured me on watching it. I was actually thinking about the show yesterday though, I wouldn't mind rewatching to see how it's held up.

This was definitely how I felt, yeah. When they were showing all the classic sprite stuff in the end credits, I remember thinking "man, sure would have been cool to see all this iconic stuff in the movie!"

Speaking of movies, what was the last movie folk here watched? Anything you'd recommend? I went to see the Sonic the Hedgehog movie yesterday. I didn't think much of it, but I guess for kids it's probably okay. I feel like the kids movies coming out when I was growing up had a whole lot more action in them, though. At the very least, I appreciated the reference to SNL's Celebrity Jeopardy, of all things.

Most of my characters are heavily inspired by tokusatsu heroes (and in one case, villain). Mainly Metal Heroes, but there's a couple of Ultramen in there too (the first of those was the first character I ever made when Torchbearer started up), one Lion-Maru, one Sentai red I never play, one vaguely Janperson-esque... The other big influence is Tatsunoko's old cartoons. There's one stalker that was heavily influenced by Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, a tank inspired by Tekkaman, and my main character, Hissatsuman, is visually a completely shameless rip of Hurricane Polymar. I am not a creative man. It's very rare that I stray outside of Technology origin.

Back on live I almost exclusively played Blaster, and since Homecoming started my main has been a Scrapper, but over the past couple of months I started playing a Katana/Willpower Brute on both blue and redside (you need to have a hero and then their nemesis, it's the rules). The novelty of "You can do this?? You can just not die??" still hasn't worn off. I guess some of that might just be how great Willpower is, but yeah. My lack of experience with the AT doesn't lend my view much cred, but Brutes sure seem fine to me!

The allure of the ding is too strong. Was almost late for work this morning because I left an alt at level 29 last night and thought to myself when I got up, "I can get that level before work no problem".

I don't know all that much about the lore, but I think if I remember correctly Tyrant gained the power of both Zeus and Tartarus, yeah. I believe the story of the Primal Well's discovery is covered in the novel Web of Arachnos.

If playing KOTOR2 it's also a good idea to get the restored content patches that add back in a bunch of story stuff that was cut during production.

When I first started playing again I was doing alt after alt after alt, then I slowed down a bit, and now I actually have a main and then a couple of alts I devote the most time to. Now I can go a week or two without making a new alt, but then I'll read something or watch some movie or similar and get an idea and then it's back to character creation. The solution is to just never expose myself to any media ever again.

I think the big one that everyone on some level wants and yet would require reworking of every single costume piece in the game is: tertiary colour choice.

Has anyone looked at Ship of Heroes at all? I remember seeing some of the initial footage, but then they launched a crowdfunding campaign and just as quickly took it down again for reasons I don't quite remember, and I haven't really kept up with it since.

Bio Armor looks awesome.

All of the head mask/detail parts reworked to fit the animal/monstrous heads. If I want to make a guy with a tiger head and an eyepatch, that's my right!
