  1. Thank you. I shall give it a shot! 🙂
  2. I've been rotating my alts around various locations for day job badges. I've had a few parked in PI inside the Portal Corp building and also at the Black Helicopter line in Grandville. The badge bar has filled up, has been for days. If you hover the mouse over it, there's no percentage for progress given. Yet, it doesn't complete, and no badge. Has anyone else had this happen? It's a bit frustrating, I like my badges and perks 🤔
  3. @Jawbreaker I was about to work it out, but ty! Your costume helped me overcome a block on a suitable costume for my Rad/Rad tanker, Armored-Core!
  4. @Verix Yes, if you slot Celerity stealth IO into Super Speed, you are definitely 'invisible' to most things. I've never dipped into invisibility for any reason and I don't think you should have to for your Thugs/Time. I can try to put together my new build for you, its actually my Beast/Time but I can tweak it, they are 99% close to Thugs. I used to be able to run +4/x8 S/L farms with my Thugs/Time (and I still do with other characters, including my Beast/Time). Time makes that very possible. Time is wonderful. Yes, I get the most 'bang for my buck' out of Speed/Hasten, then Maneuvers/Tactics, and then Travel Pool of choice (I like Hover/Fly/Afterburner). Right there are three places to slot a LOTG global recharge IO. With Far sight you have a 4th spot. You don't need to pursue a 5th spot for it, as you aren't trying to get Perma Phantom Army or anything and Time gives plenty of extra global. Temporal Selection is nice but not necessary. If I had room to take it I'd put it on the Brute or the Arsonist. Arsonist does live longer these days due to the AI, but he's still more vulnerable. Mace is a solid pick. I used to like it, but I have not taken it on any characters since Live. I find Time already boosts Defense a lot and I build for Ranged Defense cap, myself. Melee doesn't matter too much. Your -ToHit from Time's Juncture will make sure to cover the gap to the 'cap' for anything that somehow ignores your pets and goes for you. Plus with all the slows, holds, etc, you don't generally worry about melee. Mace is solid, however. You'd cap out S/L/E easily. But you have no resistances. So when you do get hit, it hurts. Hence, I prefer to cap Ranged (easy enough) and have a resistance shield, such as Mu. Then add in two +3% global Defense IOs for an extra +6 DEF on top of your other Defense. Mu gives you a solid layer of protection against many end-game attacks. On my Beast/Time I went with Leviathan for theme, but its still a good set with Shark Immobilization cone and Leviathan Armor (S/L/Cold...meh on Cold, but S/L is still good). You don't really need Elec Fences. You can double Hold runners, as you say, or bosses/annyoing stuff. Elec Fences has a small radius anyway and only the Brute really knocks anything back. So that's a fine approach to go with two holds. Don't forget to put a Lockdown Hold proc into Distortion Field. IT will help stack up on things and is good for freezing minions. Make sure to go with Musculature when you get your Alpha. Best bet for almost every MM. Have fun!
  5. This is terrific! Any chance you could share the costume file? 🙂👍🏻
  6. Teach me, Sensei! How do I grab my bulld from the game? Is there a file I'm looking for? (of course, I robbed my Thugs/Time's enhancements a long time ago for my Beast/Time MM, which I actually like much better )
  7. In Paragon City, sir, we call that an arrest. Nothing unusual here, just move along, citizen 😛😄
  8. I think the hairstyles may actually be part of the hat model, so to add new hairstyles, clipping issues aside, the team have to dedicate some time to rework the hat models. that said I'm in total agreement, a lot of times I want to use a hat but I perhaps want to be bald underneath (fedora) or have another hairstyle (beret), and I can't.
  9. Wooden staff with glowing tubes along it's length, too! 😁😌
  10. Subscription please, NOT micro transactions. They really change the nature of MMOs for the worse.
  11. @Verix Hi. I slotted DW for the Ranged Defense bonus! 🙂 This is actually a pretty old build, I've done some things a bit different, although DW is still slotted with THunderstrike.
  12. The abandoned lab isn't too far from the ferries either, or the black helicopter line. I bring my science characters there quite often.
  13. I read bios. And if I like you're costume, bio, name, or concept, or any combination of the above, I'll send a text. I like to encourage that sort of thing. Likewise, when someone comments on mine, I'm encouraged.
  14. I have one as well. Built more for concept than sapping, but fun overall.
  15. Illusion/TA was one of my old Incarnates back in Live. Super fun and effective. Great for team kill speed, solid damage solo, reasonable controls for Illusion combo. Played very well from range, almost never gets targeted by anything between PA, controls, range and -threat from Superior Invisibility.
  16. I play mostly squishies since Beta, break frees are pretty common. P2W makes it even easier to avoid the insps you don't want on favor of the ones you do. Being mezzed is only an occasional inconvenience, IMO, not a chronic one. Would it be game breaking to add mezz? No. But the ATs are balanced around things like ranged vs. Melee, protection vs. not protection... It's the whole reason for being with the Sentinel, for example, which is the middle ground for Blasters and Scrappers. Gives up range and damage for increased protection...
  17. I mean, Time/Nature can receive everything they also give, so why not FF, Thermal, Ice, or Sonic?
  18. Ok, ty guys. Was excited there for a moment ... Except for DM...
  19. When I'm jamming a crafting session I open up the AH in the University station with the /ah command.
  20. Wait... Did the Issue drop today??
  21. I had an Illusion/TA back on Live. Even then, without sets and IOs, it was a solid and fun build that played will at range. Both sets cover each other's weaknesses.
  22. At Vet level 6 and this character is a control beast. Damage isn't too bad either with slotting and subs procs, although this is not a proc monster (no more than 2 procs per power). I went with ice epic pool.
  23. I have had an on again off again relationship with Sentinels. At first, last year, I loved them. They were everything iconic superheros like The Human Torch, Ice Man, Iron Man, etc, should be. Tough, Ranged attacks. Then I found their damage lacking the higher level I went, until at Incarnate I was somewhat disappointed. I was expecting Ranged Scrapper and got more like Defender Damage Plus. Now, they have again become one of my top favorite ATs (along with MMs and Controllers), as I've learned more about how to slot to squeeze out a little extra damage (but I'm not into heavy proccing), and I also tempered my expectations and learned to enjoy the concept and the playstyle, which i really enjoy. Fly, blast, move on., fly blast... At the end of the day, the game isn't that hard that a class in need of a little smidge of love is unplayable, so long as you put away the measuring stick vs. blaster and stalkers. So I agree with you. Sentinels really give you that 'feel like an actual super hero' experience. BTW, I play with a buddy who is Energy/Energy and he's really good with his KB. There's a real difference between folks who know how to use it and have practiced, and those who don't. Just like with Hurricane/Storm users, you can easily tell the skilled from the unskilled. 🙂
  24. Trust me, 53 Ill/Rad here, he still needs to get himself killed. 😞
