Well, I managed to fix this. I removed the two IO procs and put them into Stamina/Health and they seem to work there nicely enough. Proc text for both in combat, and green floaters. Not sure why they work there and not in Reaction Time, but at least its an easy enough fix.
-
I checked my beam/devices blaster, and they are getting the floaters and the combat text for both procs, so I think this character is bugged in some way. 🤔
-
Many good suggestions here. I'll also recommend Dark Affinity. Massive debuffs, stealth, resists, hold, endo recovery, regen that can keep Singularity from dying, Defense buff, slow and -Res patch, -Damage, -Regen, aoe stun... Layers of protection, layers of debuff, a bunch of buffs, extra control, and one if the best companion pets in the game for Singy. It lacks Time's +recharge, and +ToHit, but offers more ways to neuter EBs/AVs through debuffing. And also a proc friendly set. Can't go wrong with either!
-
There are no buffs to movement. The set is already a bit overturned, as it is. This coming from a Time Manipulation afficianado.

Wondering if anyone has some thoughts. I have a 35 Dual Pistol/Marital Blaster. Its one of many alts, but this is the only character who has this issue I can't see any green healing # floaters above my head for the Panacea IO proc and Power Transfer IO proc, both of which are slotted in Reaction Time (I just slotted them in tonight) Reaction Time is set to 'no floaters' visuals in the costume creator. Previously I had it to 'show floaters' but the same issue remained. I CAN see green floaters over other players' heads (assuming they have an IO proc) in Pocket D. In combat text, I can see the text that shows Panacea healing me. I don't see any text, however, whatsoever for Power Transfer's heal. No evidence its going off. This is the only alt/char that this has happened to and it annoys me. I need tha validation of the numbers. Or I'd like them. I went through the UI options but didn't see anything. I loaded my standard UI savings to the character, but no change. Any ideas or thoughts? Thank you!

Faster, Uninterruptable /traps Trip Mine?
Force Redux replied to ScarySai's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Not too much of a necro post here, but I'd like to underscore a QoL on getting rid of the interrupt on Trip Mine. I play a /Devices blaster and the difference between ease of use is very noticable. Not asking for damage buffs, the same treatement between both powers. Thank you. -
Very quiet... Which is a good thing, ask things considered 🙂

Gather the Shadows: a Dark Miasma Primer for Masterminds
Force Redux replied to Force Redux's topic in Mastermind
Alternate Build: Here is my current more expensive build. This includes the addition of Hami-Os (which are useful, but not necessary, as Demons/Dark can run very nicely on SOs/Basic IOs). But once you're well-funded, they can help save slotting on the pets. I avoided slotting all six of the Superior ATO sets broken up 3 ways in order to get +30% global and went with a 2-piece in Demon Prince for just 10% global, as I really find the extra global is not terribly necessary at the expense of more efficient slotting of the pet summon powers. As usual, I take Corruption late in my builds mostly for the Ranged Defense set bonus from Thunderstrike, but also because Dark keeps you busy enough that it can wait. There are MANY good powers in the first 30 levels of Dark Miasma that I always feel Corruption can wait in the bigger picture. I dropped Group Fly in this build for Oppressive Gloom, though I myself have Group Fly (helpful in some TFs like Silver Mantis or some vertical maps to prevent jumping and aggroing demons). But I realize I'm the oddball and so I put OG in here, because it stacks nicely with Howling Twlighty for stunning bosses. Attention was paid to maintain a decent EndRed for Demon Prince, as he's usually sucking down his blue bar on longer fights. I've begun to follow the old advice of slotting a Celerity Stealth IO into Sprint, which saves me a slot for elsewhere. This build also still has one enhancement slot left over as a result, feel free to put it wherever you wish. Slotting some Acc/Rech into Hell on Earth wouldn't be a bad choice, to get that buff to be more effective rather than a pure slot mule. Incarnates: I ended up speccing out of Reactive Interface for doubling down on more -ToHit and some -Regen with Diamagnetic. The -ToHit stacks up easily with the Demon/Fluffy cones and acts as a second version of Fearsome Stare (about 20% in total). Honestly, Interface is so good for MMs, I don't think you can go wrong anywhere, but I am on a Diamagnetic kick of late, and find it super helpful for most of my characters in overall gameplay. Super late to this, CR, but hope your holiday was awesome 😎

So glad to see this back in production 🙂🙂

You'll be able to hit mobs in Striga from Khallisti Wharf! 😁
-
Holler at me in game if I'm free I'll team redside. My global is in my signature
-
Thank you, I'll give that a shot.
-
Is anyone aware how to get one's chat entries to look like this? Where it lets folks know your global and your SG? Especially useful for Coalition Chat...? [Coalition] ((MySGName)GlobalName) CharacterName:
-
When it's up, yes. Noticable particularly on smaller teams or solo. In big steamrolling teams, not much is going to be noticed. I actually like to go with Assault with a mix of both damage bonus and double hit, especially if I think I'm on positions where I might hit the damage cap more easily.

Disruption Aura (needs to suppress during stealth)
Force Redux replied to Force Redux's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Okay good point Mac, thanks for clarifying -
I'd never skip this. Huge boost to control. Makes holding bosses and even EBs much easier, combined with the ST hold. Anything in melee gets locked down. I slot it 4 Basilisk for the recharge bonus and then a lockdown +2 mag. Even as a toggle I find it goes off often enough to be useful.
-
You have a lot of good times ahead. I have my own at Incarnate, over of my favorite characters
-
Agree 100%, Beasts are the most self-contained Primary of all the MM power sets, with good Defense, decent resists, self-heals and the ability to self-buff (and with Pet IOs) and cap defense or go crazy and add extra damage/crits passively. They will go VERY ast on /Kin so make sure to use GoTo comamnds to keep them in the local area, instead of zipping across the map. The new AI changes earlier in the year were a godsend.
-
The sets are both rather thematic, but I don't think they necessarily synergize well together. Sonic Blast relies on a cone for regular AOE other than its PBAOE nuke. /Sonic wants to be in range. The AoE is a bit weak, and the secondary doesn't do too much to help you stay alive. I really feel the Disruption Aura should offer a -Damage to nearby foes, too. The hold mechanic is a bit unreliable. I think its a servicable secondary, but would probably pair better with something else more Blappery than Sonic Blast. That said, they aren't terrible, just not optimal, and they will work if you get the rythm. I have combat teleport with binds to jump into my target in melee then back out again for cones and ranged. It improves what is rather mediocre pairing into 'fairly good'. But you have to dip into teleport. Personally I enjoy the character, despite this.
-
I'm fairly new to blasters, and this was the first I tried. I then leveled up three others, two to incarnate (my favorite being Beam/Devices), and now I'm coming back to Sonic/Sonic. As far as I can see, this has to be a Blapper build, getting into melee for the PBAOE and ST melee attacks, and then dancing back for the cones. I took Combat teleport and did some binds to make it easy to zip and out. Yet, I hesitate to put up a build just yet. I'm still trying to build up to capped Range/S/L and I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with Mace to do so (I prefer resist epic armors), but not seeing much choice - even with Tough/Weave, I'll need that S/L/E from Scorpion Shield. Would love to see some ideas too from the Blaster experts, too.
-
I'm just going to add that Trick Arrow/Dark Blast defender is ridiculously good solo (as well as on teams). And the goodness starts off right away at low level. Also strong nods to Time/Pistol and Pain/Ice.

Happy New Year to all 🥳🎉🙂

Scrapper regen needs the Sentinel treatment.
