I would love to see the Sword from Fiery Melee (above pic) be added as a weapon customization option for Broadsword. The current fire sword in Broadsword looks nothing like it.

Another idea for shields, I want to be able to choose from a list of phrases or slogans to appear on the shield. (and be able to choose the colors of both the words & the background)

 

Possible choices:

 

Resist

Truth Cannot Be Silenced
Ideas Are Immortal
Open Your Eyes
Prepare For Justice
The Shield Hits Hard, My Fist Hits Harder

Paragon City Forever

_____ Was Right (Statesman, Recluse, Calvin Scott, etc...)

 

 

Villain Phrases:

All Hail Your New Overlord

 

Humorous Phrases:

Other words the player could choose to put on their shield, the server names:

 

The old live servers: Freedom, Justice, Liberty, etc... 
The new servers: Everlasting, Indomitable, Torchbearer, etc...

Shields:

 

An iption to have a metal or plain colored 'backside' for most  regular shields, The wood looks odd for a more modern/futuristic shield such as a captain america shield,

 

Sword:

 

A Rapier for the Broadsword powerset (and not just for the dual sword / twin blade powerset).

 

And while we're at it, make the rapier customizable in colors like most swords.

With you on the shields @NiklasWB but making rapiers for the Broadsword category, eh, not so much.

I'm thinking that's an entirely different style of fighting and to do it justice would require it's own set of animations.

Maybe if they start adding new powersets a Musketeer-ish fencing or swashbuckling style would make for a good request?

I really want to see the ghost slaying axe prestige power axe added to the battle axe set.

 

Speaking of prestige powers, I'd like to see the other prestige power attacks (Nemesis staff and Blackwand) added to Titan Weapons and War Mace respectively.

Go try out Assassin Strike on a Broadsword Stalker. Rapier would work just fine there.

Well I can't say never I tried 3 of them when CoV dropped but I

just couldn't get into anything redside. L12 Brute was as far as ever I got.

Yeah, so I hear. I know there's a lot of content I am missing out on it's just tough to get into.

Playing as a hero really just clicks with me, you know? Even beating a mission redside and hearing

that theme instead of the awesome trumpety hero theme sounds wrong... like the wrong side is winning.

A Shield that is just glowing sigils/runes, colorable ( 4 versions: Static glow, pulsing glow, rotating clockwise, rotating counter-clockwise)

 

 

 

An ephemeral aura shield, something that is somewhere between a colorable version of the (smoky) Dark Shield & the Electric Shield (without the electric zaps coming off it), not solid.

 

It would be cool if there was also an option to have a smoky energy trail coming off the shield itself that leaves a trail in your wake as you run/walk/fly. (and an option to turn it off if you want)
 

 

Mayan Shield ( 2 versions: with & without the feathers coming off the bottom)

 

 

Macuahuitl (Mayan Weapon) for War Mace and Battle Axe.
 

 

For Staff, a staff that is a blend of Spear & the Macuahuitl.
 

 

Tlingit Daggers for Dual Blades
 

 

 

Ornamental Axe for Battle Axe

I'd like to see more weapon skin options for Beam Rifle and Assault Rifle. There are already some very nice looking gun models in-game that should be available as weapon skin options, i.e. chain-gun, Rikti Rifle.

Heck, even having the option to use the Sapper's gun as shown in the [Nullifier Gun Mk I] temp power would be great as a beam rifle skin.

That would be an addition to the locations for Auras, and would let you apply any of the existing auras to your shield -- smoky, flaming, glow, etc.

Some "arm cannon" models for beam rifle that cover the hand and forearm. I forget what it's called but the giant one already does this a bit, would like to see more.

I'd kill for an "invisible" Assault Rifle model (or small forearm mounted firearm), with an accompanying change to the animations so that the shots appear to be fired from the arms/hands/gauntlets of the character. So we can finally make a War Machine / Deadshot -esque hero/villain. I'm not sure if it is easy or possbile to change the animations within a set, but given the animation options in the power customization area, I guess it should be possible. Something like character stances/animations for Electric Blast or Energy Blast should work well as a base.
